And now this last segment of the hour, we're going to be talking about something fun, how to maybe stop those holiday disasters from coming on.

And it could be something simple, it could be something big.

So here is my list to help make the holidays just a little bit easier.

When we went out to break, I was talking about just making sure space heaters and stuff we're not plugged into power strips or extension cords, things like that that you're following the manufacturer's directions.

The best one here that I can give you.

And this is an important one if you are having people.

I've been doing a little bit of research and there's a lot of different things you can do to save money.

And if you have a senior in your home, maybe you're a senior yourself, maybe you're taking care of grandma, your parents, your sister, your brother, whoever it is out there that's in the retirement age, you should do a little bit of research.

Because more and more we're seeing states coming up with ways to give basically a tax rebate on their property taxes.

So they either pay less money or in some cases you don't have to pay them at all.

You're exempt.

And it has to come down to, in many states, income.

It has to come down to property has to come down to what, what the taxes are.

Sometimes it'll be a school levy, sometimes it'll be the entire property tax.

There's a lot of different things going on and I wanted to bring this up all that and more on Saturday's around the House show with Eric G.
