In this happiness hack I encourage to create a more optimistic mindset with positive affirmations

Positive statements are powerful short statements and they can boost our mood because they stimulate specific brain regions and as a result can help us to manage our negative inner self talk and ensure that we feel optimistic.

Some of my favourite ones that always uplift my mood are:

I give myself permission to slow down

‘I choose to let go of what I cannot control”

“I believe and trust in myself wholeheartedly”

Three ways that you can use the positive affirmations:

You can simply repeat them outloud to yourself or in the mirror in the morning

You can write then down in your journal or on sticky notes and place them around your house

Or you can record them on your phone and listen to them whilst on the walk or drifting to the sleep

However you decide to use them, positive affirmations can enhance your emotional wellbeing so I hope you will incorporate these into your daily routine
