What do you do when you can't be bothered to send an email? Maybe you haven't got the energy. Maybe you haven't got the focus. Maybe your focus is completely in pieces.

And what do you do to still show up, to still send that email so you don't feel the guilt? I can tell you how to do it because I'm feeling exactly like that today. And I thought rather than being my normal, high energy, intense, upbeat self, I'll share with you exactly what I do in this moment while I'm in this moment.

Hey, I just think it's really important that we don't always just think of that anyone is always on and is always really high focus, high energy. Because they're not. I'm having a really crappy day today. I just feel like crap. i' um my skins i think I don't know what's going on with me. My skin's all bad. And it's you know I usually have pretty good skin. And I've just spent most of the day sat on my sofa with one of my cats, Nova, purring next to me, watching old American TV. and um feeling like crap. But I still have to send an email today because one of the things that I know is powerful is every time I send an email, we make sales and that's really important.

But I don't have the energy. I don't have the focus. i have I can't think of a single thing I want to say. Nothing because my brain is so overwhelmed. And I know I can't be alone with that. your I know a lot of people in my world will also suffer from from having their attention being pulled in lots of directions so they feel overwhelmed and sometimes just having shitty days. And I want to first of all acknowledge the fact that, yeah, so do I. So you're not alone, okay? And the second thing is that there are strategies to to make it so that things continue. You don't add guilt to that for not getting things done. so there's two things that i that I do. The first one is i make sure I have some really key automations in place in my business. So no matter how I'm feeling, where my attention is, how my schedule is, where my travel plans are, when people join my email list, they're getting those automations, right?

And that means it's like the entrance hall to my email mansion is is always really nice laid out. that We're making the best first impression. No matter how you're feeling or what you're doing or how busy you are.

That's the first bit. The second bit is where it gets trickier and the thing i'm going to be tapping into today. And that is, yeah, but what about the live emails that you mail each day when you can't be bothered? And And I say can't be bothered, I don't mean laziness. I'm talking about cannot get enough attention to do it.

Cannot muster a single idea. I've even asked various AIs what should be about. And I'm like, that's a nice title. I don't know what to say. I've got nothing to say. And I thought the very fact I don't know what to say is um is actually a good idea for a video to share with you today. So that's why we're here. So what do we do?

It makes me think about Billy Joel. Like if you go and see Billy Joel in concert, he doesn't come up every night and sing a brand new set of brand new songs. And the next night he doesn't show up with a brand new set of another brand new set of songs. He doesn't do that.

In fact, if you go and see a Billy Joel concert, you are not leaving until that man sings Piano Man. don't know about you, but I'm not leaving until he sings Piano Man. Right? Because why cause it's a banger. Because it's hit. It's why we're all there. It works.

It gets the response. And just like Billy Joel's Piano Man, you have got emails which you wrote when you were feeling great, when you were on top form and which got great responses. And some of them you may have automated, great plan. And some of them are just in your s sent folder inside your email platform and you can reuse them. And on days like today, you get to log into your email platform Scroll back six to eight months because no one's going remember what you said six to eight months ago, especially if you're emailing daily, maybe if you're emailing slightly left less often, still then, like six to eight months ago, no one's gonna remember. Hit the duplicate button.

Just read through to make sure it's still relevant and you haven't accidentally said something that that is not relevant or like is kind of seen under a new light in today's you know day and age. And And then schedule it and send it again.
