In today’s episode, Randall Bear Barnetson, Indigenous artist and a follower of the Jesus way, joins Wendi Park in the unceded traditional territory of xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) nations, to share a little bit about his latest book release ‘The NativIty Art Project’.

In this book, Bear has decolonized the Story of Jesus’ birth helping us to see Christ through an Indigenous worldview. He walks us through some of his beautiful artwork, explaining the deep spiritual meaning each piece holds and how it connects us to the Creator.

Bear brings clarity and understanding for us as a community on how we can pursue peace and reconciliation authentically with our Indigenous brothers and sisters this Advent season.
