Food Police, Shame, and Diabetes. What if we stopped shaming people for how they manage their diabetes?
It seems like everyone is worried about my diabetes. But why? What's the big deal? Lots of people with diabetes feel like they're under a microscope. But why should we have to explain ourselves? There's a lot of debate around what the "right" way to manage diabetes is, but at the end of the day, it's up to each individual to find what works best for them.
My guest Mila Clarke drops some knowledge on the misconceptions, guilt and shame that comes with living with diabetes, especially as an influencer. It's clear that we need to stop judging and shaming each other, and start supporting one another instead.
Do you feel like everyone is always watching how you live your life with diabetes?
