Hello, it's Howard Brown. It's the Shining Brightly
Howard Brown:Podcast show. I have an amazing show. Where all the way from
Howard Brown:Germany, Frankfurt, Germany, I have Renee Isermann here. I'm so
Howard Brown:glad to have you. How are you today?
Renee Isermann:I'm so excited. Thank you to have me on the
Renee Isermann:show. The sun
Howard Brown:is shining not in Germany, it's shining a little
Howard Brown:in Michigan here. So it's okay. But I need to tell you that,
Howard Brown:Renee, I are so aligned and so connected, because she has
Howard Brown:lifted herself up, and she lifts up others. And we're going to
Howard Brown:tell you how she does that. And she's absolutely got an
Howard Brown:incredible story that I want to share with you. But let me tell
Howard Brown:you a little bit about her. So Renee estimate is a former
Howard Brown:professional European handball player. Now in the US, we don't
Howard Brown:know Handball is very much, but because of the Olympics, we're
Howard Brown:starting to know about handball a little bit better. So she's an
Howard Brown:elite athlete. She's also the founder, and the International
Howard Brown:Best Selling Author of yoga for face yoga than ever for her
Howard Brown:face. And she's helped over 10,000 clients learn the ways to
Howard Brown:naturally rebalance their face, reveal more natural beauty. And
Howard Brown:without Botox without surgery, all holistic, because this is
Howard Brown:how you connect to yourself, the mind body and soul. It's such a
Howard Brown:beautiful mission. I love it. So before we dig in, and get deep
Howard Brown:into your story, okay, share something you know, a little bit
Howard Brown:that people may not know about you that you want to share.
Renee Isermann:Yeah, sure, everybody's knowing I'm the
Renee Isermann:athlete. But as a little girl, my biggest dream was to be a
Renee Isermann:singer and dancer, and really just like to express myself. And
Renee Isermann:so that was my biggest hidden secret.
Howard Brown:You want to be a singer and a dancer. And then
Howard Brown:you became an elite handball player. And now you just, you're
Howard Brown:you're holistically heal and help people feel and look
Howard Brown:better, every day is beautiful. Share a little bit about your
Howard Brown:background, growing up a little bit what you want to share and,
Howard Brown:and what you did before you became the holistic face to face
Howard Brown:with queen.
Renee Isermann:Um, so I mean, just like 22 years of
Renee Isermann:professional athlete, that was the only thought I had in the
Renee Isermann:morning. And until I was going to sleep, so everything was
Renee Isermann:about, like, how I can perform better how I can just like,
Renee Isermann:support my team, how I just like so everything was focused on
Renee Isermann:that. So and my whole life was just like, very scattered.
Howard Brown:When did you start? When did you start the
Howard Brown:handball career as a little girl as well?
Renee Isermann:I was nine years old. Right?
Howard Brown:And then you got into the elite training program.
Howard Brown:And that's a discipline that's that's dominates your life,
Howard Brown:right to be come and eat like, what you eat. What you how you
Howard Brown:working out and, and preparing Correct?
Renee Isermann:Yes. So and so my target was I was always just
Renee Isermann:like, because I was so talented. I was always just like how to
Renee Isermann:perform with the older kids. So I had I was going starting
Renee Isermann:school was five, and even being an athlete, when you have like
Renee Isermann:the the age caps, I had also to perform just like two years
Renee Isermann:older, so match them. So I was just like, our pacing the whole
Renee Isermann:time. It was like, okay, I can do that. I can do that. So that
Renee Isermann:was free hustling. And that from an early age.
Howard Brown:On it tell you so my daughter Emily wasn't an
Howard Brown:elite soccer goalie football for the Europeans, right. And she
Howard Brown:had to train with the team, five days a week, but then she had
Howard Brown:three extra trainings just for the goalie. So and then we had
Howard Brown:games all weekend and a goalie played in you know, they could
Howard Brown:sub a goalie and so I lived that for 10 years from age eight to
Howard Brown:age 18 with my daughter, and I played basketball my whole life.
Howard Brown:So I understand the life of an athlete, not not as you as an
Howard Brown:elite athlete, but it's a discipline and you have to
Howard Brown:sacrifice and you give up things. So sleepovers with
Howard Brown:friends with you know, your own friends, you know, going out to
Howard Brown:the movies, sometimes, you know, you weren't able to do that. So
Howard Brown:it's a big sacrifice. So that was a dominant part of your
Howard Brown:life. And then you decided your retirement right from handball.
Renee Isermann:That was not, that was not my will. So my
Renee Isermann:buddy was telling me I'm done. I am I was when I was 31. I was so
Renee Isermann:in pain, and it was just like it was over. I was thinking and I
Renee Isermann:was knowing it before it happened because that was just
Renee Isermann:like an accident because I was having so much problems was my
Renee Isermann:feeds. And and I was just like I was knowing so I was getting
Renee Isermann:this information from my soul. And this is when I'm talking
Renee Isermann:even to people or my clients. So when things happen in life, do
Renee Isermann:you remember there was a time before? Are you aware? And I was
Renee Isermann:aware I was getting that. And I was just like, my ego was so
Renee Isermann:big. And I was just like, No, I'm just like I can I can do
Renee Isermann:that. I'm tough enough. No, I'm just like, here, this is my high
Renee Isermann:point of the of the season. And even just like the age of 31,
Renee Isermann:it's just like, perfect, you have the knowledge, you have the
Renee Isermann:routine. And I was just like, in the best shape, I was thinking
Renee Isermann:best shape ever. So I was just like, in the air and just like,
Renee Isermann:having this great feeling. And so and then it was just like,
Renee Isermann:done, and and then my life was starting pretty new. And so
Renee Isermann:because what we have to understand is just like our body
Renee Isermann:is our best friend. And if we are not taking care, it will
Renee Isermann:just like bring you to your knees just like when I had to
Renee Isermann:sit and to breathe. And I was not to I was not able to do
Renee Isermann:anything because I was so in pain. Because I didn't pay
Renee Isermann:attention before I did everything to perform at the
Renee Isermann:weekend. So I did everything for the team. So I was just like,
Renee Isermann:because I was so committed, I was so disciplined. And that was
Renee Isermann:a high price I paid.
Howard Brown:So you had to rebuild. You had to pivot, you
Howard Brown:had to find something new. So would you do
Renee Isermann:this is when and I'm so thankful for my spot them
Renee Isermann:because they were just like saying, Okay, we are putting you
Renee Isermann:into just like getting in yoga and pilates and getting in the
Renee Isermann:instruction way. So yoga and pilates was really helping
Renee Isermann:rebuilding my body system. And really learning just like
Renee Isermann:different movements. And now it's the knowledge now oh my
Renee Isermann:goodness, I was training so completely wrong and different
Renee Isermann:parts. And though yoga and pilates was becoming a part but
Renee Isermann:even those like learning, who are you without the sports who
Renee Isermann:are your was being in the newspapers, Mondays, and Sundays
Renee Isermann:are just like when in your whole life, you are the athlete? Who
Renee Isermann:are you when when someone is taking everything away from you.
Renee Isermann:And this is also what happens in Korea ending or if the kids are
Renee Isermann:out of the house. So who are you when you are losing your
Renee Isermann:identity in a particularly I've heard so. And I
Howard Brown:don't know I totally resonated with because I
Howard Brown:have to transition twice in my life from being you know, a
Howard Brown:cancer patient back to Howard Brown, you know who went through
Howard Brown:it, but I'm not designated in treatment. Now. I'm a survivor,
Howard Brown:right. And so I've had to rebuild myself and I call this
Howard Brown:putting Humpty Dumpty, the old nursery rhyme back together
Howard Brown:again. So people have to do that you have to get back up again
Howard Brown:and put yourself back together again. And that's what you had
Howard Brown:to do. And then you had some great training, right? Some
Howard Brown:amazing training.
Renee Isermann:I had to relearn everything, everything I was
Renee Isermann:knowing I had to relearn from head to toe, it was like really
Renee Isermann:learning new skills, learn how to move how to get out of bed.
Renee Isermann:And and this is where I can tell you in seven years, you can
Renee Isermann:rebuild your whole body. You have every single second you
Renee Isermann:sell productions. And it's about learning the roots of skills.
Renee Isermann:What does your body need? On the physical way? On the mind part.
Renee Isermann:So what are the programs you're thinking about yourself, but
Renee Isermann:also if you're not connected to your soul, you will always get
Renee Isermann:pushed from the universe to to really become your best version
Renee Isermann:and express your uniqueness. So that's and this is what I
Renee Isermann:learned. Today, I say the hard way, but at the end, I'm
Renee Isermann:thankful for for the experience. And I can and this is where I
Renee Isermann:want to repoint hope and a different perspective. No matter
Renee Isermann:what happened in your life. There's always the Golden Nugget
Renee Isermann:in and we have to find that. And
Howard Brown:this you have to find it and you help people do
Howard Brown:that. And so when we first met one of the things that resonated
Howard Brown:with me when you presented and we met on a networking show,
Howard Brown:shout out to Blanca laws of light. And I remember that what
Howard Brown:you said is that people have to learn to find their smile. And
Howard Brown:that resonated with me and take me through how you know you
Howard Brown:developed yoga for face and why your smile matters.
Renee Isermann:But there are two important questions. So the
Renee Isermann:one part of my story and I had to leave of my life twice. I
Renee Isermann:mean, not quite so just but this is where we are very wealthy,
Renee Isermann:very close to you. So the first part was the athlete where one
Renee Isermann:of my biggest dream was just like pupping. That was done. So
Renee Isermann:being athlete was like dreaming them all life, the careers it's
Renee Isermann:done. And I was just like, we burning everything, my body,
Renee Isermann:everything was fine. I was having Korea, I was working for
Renee Isermann:a big company. And then I was thinking, Okay, now it's time I
Renee Isermann:had everything I want to build family I wanted to like, so I
Renee Isermann:was thinking having the dream, man. So we were building a
Renee Isermann:house, wedding was planned, and I was prepared for getting being
Renee Isermann:a mom. And so that was the final part where my life was giving me
Renee Isermann:in a different direction, because the wedding never
Renee Isermann:happened. And I lost the kids very early in the pregnancy. And
Renee Isermann:that was tough. And this is where, for me today, it's not a
Renee Isermann:drama, because my kids and even all the experience was helping
Renee Isermann:to bring yoga for face in the world. And I know that I have a
Renee Isermann:different perspective of a lot of others have a lot of things
Renee Isermann:because without this experience, I would not connect so deep to
Renee Isermann:who I am. And also to become a deeper understanding that we are
Renee Isermann:more than we can touch. And that our life always lasts and
Renee Isermann:supports us, even if we are not understanding this in the first
Renee Isermann:place. So that is the background because I was also trying so
Renee Isermann:hard. I was also becoming a mother just like being a perfect
Renee Isermann:wife, just like I was I was trying so hard and being
Renee Isermann:disciplined. And it's not about that. It's really it's not about
Renee Isermann:that. And I was my face after all this and pain and trauma
Renee Isermann:that will showing up in my face. So and this is how I was coming
Renee Isermann:up with yoga for faith because my face was totally dried. And I
Renee Isermann:was just like sitting there. And it's I can't believe that this
Renee Isermann:was happening again that you are losing a dream. And then you
Renee Isermann:have to be very careful. What is your dream? Or where does this
Renee Isermann:dream come from. And when we open up, I said my dream of
Renee Isermann:being a singer dancer. My dream was not being a handball player
Renee Isermann:and the family part, I have no idea. I mean, I'm turning 50
Renee Isermann:Now, maybe whatever. So it's just like a number. But I'm here
Renee Isermann:losing, losing, you have to really to find yourself. And I
Renee Isermann:had to rebuild my whole body. And then I saw my face. And I
Renee Isermann:had this morning when I was waking up and I was looking in
Renee Isermann:the mirror and I was just like shocked. I was 42 I was shocked
Renee Isermann:that I can't believe that. So because the face my face was so
Renee Isermann:destroyed. And I was just like, Okay, if I don't like what I see
Renee Isermann:in the mirror, and I was restarting my life and I was
Renee Isermann:just like thinking how is this can be just like being unhappy
Renee Isermann:and for me, so and I really had to deep dive and to become a
Renee Isermann:deeper understanding. And I was thinking Botox and surgery is
Renee Isermann:this really what it needs to stay young and beautiful and
Renee Isermann:shiny and radiant sound that was never getting in my brain
Renee Isermann:because I was rebuilding I was knowing how to rebuild my body
Renee Isermann:becoming painfree becoming a new silhouette, just like even just
Renee Isermann:like designing your body and in your way because a handle
Renee Isermann:player. It's not the female version. So it's not the Lean
Renee Isermann:method. It's just like, it's all about just like performing and
Renee Isermann:muscles. So and I was just like, what else? And then I figured
Renee Isermann:out okay, there are 43 methods on your face. You can also train
Renee Isermann:if you can reboot your body, you can also reboot your face and
Renee Isermann:just like what's showing up your faces your business card, your
Renee Isermann:business. After your life is showing up. Your life story is
Renee Isermann:showing up. It's showing up in your face to you love yourself.
Renee Isermann:Where are you betraying yourself? Where do you try to
Renee Isermann:fit in a box that is not yours? Are you going for your dreams?
Renee Isermann:What about your eyes? Are they sparkling? So there are so many
Renee Isermann:things are you in alignment with who you really are and you are
Renee Isermann:uniquely made. And you're here for a purpose and you have to
Renee Isermann:take this very serious. And I'm here this is where we covered
Renee Isermann:yoga for face because yoga means unfold your uniqueness. It's not
Renee Isermann:making crazy exercises. It just like unfold your uniqueness and
Renee Isermann:I was connecting to this philosophy because I was
Renee Isermann:thinking okay 30 years of knowledge from head to toe
Renee Isermann:because everything is showing up in your face, if you have pain
Renee Isermann:in your knees and your lower back, you are just like
Renee Isermann:everything is once you can separate things. And this is why
Renee Isermann:I am so not into the surgery and Botox. Because it's it's not
Renee Isermann:helping you to connect to you to who you really are. So, for this
Renee Isermann:remodels on your face, you can train them. But if you still
Renee Isermann:look in the mirror, and you try to find the spots where you are
Renee Isermann:not perfect, or what you don't like, just like yourself talk is
Renee Isermann:really what matters. This just showing up your emotions, I
Howard Brown:will tell you that. When people look in the
Howard Brown:mirror every day, men take a shave women put on makeup, and
Howard Brown:many people don't like what they see and what they feel. So I
Howard Brown:agree with that. And also, thank you for being so vulnerable and
Howard Brown:sharing some of your pain. Because when you get knocked
Howard Brown:down, and how you get back up again, did you want to show some
Howard Brown:some share the screen and show a few pictures? For me.
Renee Isermann:Um, yes, of course. So I can share one of my
Renee Isermann:my pictures. So here, this is my picture.
Howard Brown:For those those that are listening only. We're
Howard Brown:looking at pictures from about, what, seven years ago.
Renee Isermann:Yeah, that's seven years ago on the left
Renee Isermann:side. And what you can see is, first of all the 11 lines, the
Renee Isermann:11 lines, so maybe you can face your your mirror, there are 11
Renee Isermann:lines, I have also an accident, so I have a scarf in between. So
Renee Isermann:this is very just like very prominent and very just like it,
Renee Isermann:it's really showing up in the middle of the eyebrows. So my
Renee Isermann:whole skin is very just like not regular, I have deep, narrow
Renee Isermann:labia thought, even like the lip area is very, not from the
Renee Isermann:symmetry, it's different. You can see even and this is where
Renee Isermann:I'm always talking about your smile is important and your
Renee Isermann:biceps and your face. And we will make maybe a little
Renee Isermann:exercise we can try. So this is the most important muscles on
Renee Isermann:your face. And when you don't need the cheek implants, you
Renee Isermann:just need to train the muscles and then everything is just like
Renee Isermann:lifting up. So even just like the jawline and the chin area,
Renee Isermann:even like the nose, you can design your nose because this is
Renee Isermann:a very soft area, your daily habits can change your nose, so
Renee Isermann:we can talk about that. So you don't you don't need surgery,
Renee Isermann:when you try to
Howard Brown:live, I have to tell you this is I mean
Howard Brown:remarkable because you're using yourself as an example here. But
Howard Brown:you look under duress, you look strained, your eyes look heavy.
Howard Brown:And you're looking at on screen now and you know you're a
Howard Brown:completely refreshed and vibrant look, and you've done it for
Howard Brown:yourself. Take this, the sharing down for me if you will, and
Howard Brown:we'll come back together. Thank you for sharing that. It's
Howard Brown:absolutely incredible. I know you've well written a book about
Howard Brown:it, people on your website can see the remarkable change that
Howard Brown:people go through. And you make them feel better. And you've you
Howard Brown:have 1000s 10,000 clients all over the world that actually go
Howard Brown:through your program and all that tell me a little bit about
Howard Brown:your program.
Renee Isermann:So what I just covered is in 30 days we can
Renee Isermann:really transform your face and also your life. And because the
Renee Isermann:fraud is it just like learning what your face is expressing.
Renee Isermann:And the most people have no idea what they express what's your
Renee Isermann:face specific when you you're talking without words. I always
Renee Isermann:say your smile will open closed doors. But are you aware about
Renee Isermann:your smile. So what I'm doing in this 30 Day Program is really
Renee Isermann:helping you to release your daily stress because on a daily
Renee Isermann:basis, we have situations where we get challenged even from your
Renee Isermann:kids from our partners from maybe looking in the mirror in
Renee Isermann:the morning. So what I'm teaching is how to get ready in
Renee Isermann:15 minutes in the morning to get out of your house with your best
Renee Isermann:smile because if you are smiling when you leave the house your
Renee Isermann:life will changing because the universe and all the people
Renee Isermann:around you can inspire so if you are open about things are coming
Renee Isermann:back so this is why I'm focusing on the smile so so much in the
Renee Isermann:morning. And what we're doing in the study day is really just
Renee Isermann:like we are learning about our face and When stress is coming,
Renee Isermann:where it's picking and how to release it, and what I mean by
Renee Isermann:this is just like I'm sharing schools, what you can do between
Renee Isermann:your meetings before you get home, what you can do on the
Renee Isermann:toilet. So and this is on a daily basis, the step by step
Renee Isermann:program is transforming in an easy and playful way. Because
Renee Isermann:otherwise it's not working, it's not working. For me, it has to
Renee Isermann:be easy and playful, and it has to fit in your daily life. So
Renee Isermann:and we are driving a car, we're going on a toilet, so and 15
Renee Isermann:minutes in the morning and the evening you should be value
Renee Isermann:yourself for taking time to love and care. And be kind to
Renee Isermann:yourself. So and this is what was making the biggest
Renee Isermann:transition. And this is just like a startup, if you just like
Renee Isermann:do this, your whole life, your face is changing every day. And
Renee Isermann:you inspire. So you will get the feedback from the people, even
Renee Isermann:your kids, maybe the communication is getting better,
Renee Isermann:because you're not so stressed. Because this is showing up. If
Renee Isermann:you have a six pack, if you have 11 lines, imagine this is your
Renee Isermann:third eye, if you're looking the whole way, just like was this 11
Renee Isermann:line. Oh, you want to see the beauty in life. If you stressed
Renee Isermann:with a six pack, the whole body is just like, it's
Howard Brown:it's amazing. So you change, you change your
Howard Brown:face, you change your life, and and you bring your best smile.
Howard Brown:So this, we're going to put on our sunglasses and you have
Howard Brown:beautiful cool blue sunglasses just for the show. And we're
Howard Brown:going to do the shining brightly spotlight on you, Renee
Howard Brown:Esserman, and yoga for face. And I want to tell people how they
Howard Brown:should get in touch with you how they can find out about your
Howard Brown:course, and your book, and then leave us with some inspiration
Howard Brown:as we close out the show.
Renee Isermann:Okay, so yoga mat number four facebook.com.
Renee Isermann:That's my website. And I invite you, I'm always open for
Renee Isermann:introduction call to talk about your situation and how I can
Renee Isermann:support you. But you can also jump in the 30 day program that
Renee Isermann:we will share this link. And if you just like want to take a
Renee Isermann:piece before my book, yoga phase, it doesn't it says an
Renee Isermann:ebook on Amazon. So we also just like sharing this link. And just
Renee Isermann:like I remind you, your smile matters. Specific when you look
Renee Isermann:in the mirror, and this year is the master you can train and now
Renee Isermann:I give you a little bit an idea. Take a pencil.
Howard Brown:We got to do this quickly. I gotta get a pencil or
Howard Brown:a pen here and a pen for now. Yes, got it
Renee Isermann:and put it between your teeth.
Howard Brown:Okay.
Renee Isermann:And relax. Okay. Yeah. And breathe, breathe,
Renee Isermann:breathe. No, just like state.
Renee Isermann:That's just like how to talk when? Okay,
Howard Brown:Renee, you're asking a podcaster that speaks
Howard Brown:to put a pencil in their mouth to close out the show. But I get
Howard Brown:it. There's an exercise there where you're clenching on the
Howard Brown:pencil that's working out that muscle, so I got it. So it's
Howard Brown:beautiful. Thank you for that interactive part of exercise.
Howard Brown:Well, listen, looking in the mirror, your smile, it's your
Howard Brown:business card, you can help people and you lift them up and
Howard Brown:make them feel better about themselves in so many ways. So
Howard Brown:I'm thrilled that you're on the show. You have been either
Howard Brown:watching or listening to the shining brightly podcast show, I
Howard Brown:want to thank the people that make me look good. So front edge
Howard Brown:publishing my book publisher, read the spirit magazine, read
Howard Brown:the spirit.com amplify you the people that make finish my
Howard Brown:podcasts and make me look good. Diamond moments magazine as
Howard Brown:well. So thank you to the folks that helped me. If you want to
Howard Brown:get in touch with me shining brightly.com You can find out
Howard Brown:about my book. Also, I'd love to make your event shine and a
Howard Brown:speaking event, either virtually or in person. And then this
Howard Brown:podcast is out on 24 channels via captive eight.fm. And my
Howard Brown:advocacy was just so important to me my mentorship, leadership
Howard Brown:and entrepreneurship, through bouts in college, my work in the
Howard Brown:cancer world, and then also my interfaith world to love thy
Howard Brown:neighbor and, and understand the other in this world that we live
Howard Brown:in today. So and go watch the Olympics and go learn about
Howard Brown:handball as well. So just remember, if we choose to use
Howard Brown:our smile, and also shine brightly, just a little bit each
Howard Brown:day for ourselves, and then go lift up others. We become a
Howard Brown:force multiplier for good and positive change. And we do make
Howard Brown:this world a better place. Rene Esserman Thank you yoga for
Howard Brown:face.com Just awesome. Thank you for being here today.
