In this episode of Big questions, Short Answers, we talk about whether you really take care of yourself. Most of the time we show up for others WAY more than we show up for ourselves, and it has to stop.
Unfortunately, most people don’t value showing up for themselves at all. For example, parents show up for their kids while running themselves ragged. We keep commitments with our friends even when we’re so exhausted we want to pass out. I want to share with you how I discovered the importance of taking care of myself and the little things that make me feel happier.
Remind yourself that you should also be a priority in your life. Don’t over-commit to things, take care of yourself, and be kind to yourself.
Are you doing things that make you happy? I urge you to do one thing today that will make you feel light and happy.
