Shownotes
In an industry like entertainment, an artist can easily find themselves feeling like they aren't in control of their own experience. That goes for business, art and even identity. So how can one stay grounded and not buy into the outcome-driven needs of Hollywood?
My guest today is Mike Rauch, former Cartoon Network exec and co-founder of Rauch Brothers Animation and he shares his journey from the first moments he felt that spark for animating as well as for business to how he decided to not worry too much about how everyone else was doing it. Instead he focused his energies connecting to his "why" and what he believed in so he could bring work into this world that would represent voices he felt were missing from view.
