As we stand at the threshold of a new year, I'm reminded of a story about a renowned violinist. During a high-profile concert, one of the strings on his violin snapped. The audience gasped, but the violinist continued flawlessly with only three strings. After the concert, when asked about it, he simply said, "It's not the instrument that matters, but how you use it." This story resonates deeply as we embark on a new year. No matter what we've lost or faced last year, it's how we play the next part of our journey that matters.
"Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert." - Isaiah 43:19
