Can you be Jewish and not be a Zionist? Can you be a Zionist and not be Jewish?

You already know these two words get treated like they're the same word, and they're not.

Tonight we're taking them apart. Not with a textbook. Not with a hundred years of history dumped on you in one breath. Just two words, what they actually mean, and — this is the part people are going to have feelings about — one very concrete thing I think our synagogues should stop doing so this distinction actually shows up in real life.
