I'm here to awaken the brave heart inside of you. So you can ignite the flame of your vision, you can reach your goals and achieve your dreams come on lets get brave.
Every now and then some things happen in our life that have us kind of wondering what's going on. You know, things are going great. We think life is wonderful. All green lights, everything happening. And then suddenly, things begin to shift. Have you ever experienced that? Well, if your goal and your purpose is to live a full and fruitful life, and if you're hungry, and you're committed to growing, and to having a growth mindset and becoming the best that you can ever be, then you're going to have to experience this thing called pruning. Yeah, it's a process designed to help you and me reach our full potential. And it's not really fun. But it's necessary. Have you ever experienced these moments? Let's talk about it. Brave hearts. Were in your life, you feel like you're going backwards. You were doing well. business was strong. Maybe the kids were great. Your marriage was good. You're feeling God's favor. But something happened and you feel like you've lost some ground. You don't feel as healthy as you once were your business leads have dried up or your door that you thought was open has closed and you have more no than go. And you're wondering what has happened. I know especially since COVID, many of the women that I speak with say, I just don't know how to get my life back. I was on track I was doing so great. I don't know how to get back in the flow. Well, just because you're having some difficulties, does not mean that you are not on the right track. Sometimes life just orders a season of cutback. Sometimes our Creator says you will do better if you undergo a little bit of pruning. Because honestly without it, we won't grow and become all that we should be yet you know, it's hard to understand it. Perhaps you've lost something a romance, a promotion, a job, maybe a contract you thought was coming through maybe you're suffering in your health or your view just you're struggling with some depression, you feel like life is getting the best of me. Well be brave. Because better is coming. new growth has been ordered it is coming. If you will trust the process, and allow the pruning to be a benefit in your life. If you've been pruned of a relationship, a better ones coming. If you lost your job, a better one is around the corner, you lost an opportunity. Don't fret you are being prepared for a better one. Grab a hold of your brave heart and live your vision. Because a cut back is just a setup for a new growth. A new promotion. a better day an open door, a new horizon. Let's talk about this. So have you seen rose bushes? Are they not absolutely spectacular? rose bushes beautiful the fragrance right that they give off just so beautiful. But do you know that one day consider yourself you're this rose and you're thriving and you're doing so well. And you're growing all over the place. And there's all kinds of little bugs coming on you and all of a sudden, here comes the gardener with those shears. Now I want to tell you that shears in the wrong hands can be really dangerous and harmful. But our God knows how to prune us. And here comes the gardener with those shears. And there's three reasons why you're going to go through a pruning three things that happen so let's talk about it. One, you've got too many buds. So too many buds they SAP the rosebush have the necessary nutrients right and the energy to become really spectacular. So if you have too many bugs, you can only be average. You can't be spectacular and try to do too many things at once. The rosebush knows that it needs to be cut back so that it can spend all of its focus all of its energy, becoming the great, spectacular, audacious, amazing bush and flower that it's supposed to be. Now it's fun. Sure to have all these little buds. It might have a sense of importance to it. But what happens when they're supposed to be blooming and nothing is blooming, it's doomed to a life of being average. And so I think the same is true for you and me. Don't settle. Because you're hanging on to too many bugs, you got too many irons in the fire, you don't know which way to go. You don't know where to put your energy and your focus, you're spinning too many plates like I do this.
Sometimes you guys in my life, I get excited about so many things, I have to come back to true north and say, What am I called to? What am I focusing on? Let me go to my vision board and make sure that I am executing my master brave plan that I have for my life that I believe I've received and a download. And I want to make sure that I'm not getting off track because you know what? A rose plant is anything but average. It's created to be amazing. And so are you, my little Braveheart, you have been created to be amazing. So don't settle. Because you're hanging on to too many buds. Don't, don't settle because yet, it's fun to all be together. And it's hard to see something drop off. But if it's supposed to be in your life and time, it'll come back. But right now, let yourself be pruned. Say goodbye to the unnecessary things that are hanging on your life that are distracting you and calling for your time and your attention. Let it go. And trust that when you focus on the one thing, you'll have the everything you are designed for greatness. But you know, there's a second reason why you might get pruned. And that's because there are diseased buds. That's why the gardener will come with those shares and begin to prune a plant because there's toxic, unhealthy, harmful branches, a branch that got sick, a branch that is draining the life out of the healthy plant, some buds perhaps or some branches that have been twined themselves around the healthy, and they're choking the life out of them. And it's making the whole tree unhealthy. It's making the whole plant toxic. It's hard to say goodbye to good things. But sometimes, it's scary to say goodbye to bad things because we don't know how to stop it. We don't know how to get out of it. We don't know how to end that relationship. We don't know how to say goodbye to that unhealthy job. Even though it's giving us good money. We don't know how to say goodbye to that toxic habit that scatters a little bit bound, and it's sucking our life of vitality and joy. And we're waking up feeling ashamed from the day before. And we try again and we get back on track only to fall. Well. Those things have to be pruned out of our life, we have to say goodbye to the toxicity. And then there's dead buds, dead branches, they wouldn't even be buds they would just be dead dried up branches still hanging on no value. familiar, but useless. These branches can be dangerous and harmful to us because they keep the sunlight from reaching the healthy branches, the healthy buds, they block the oxygen, we can feel smothered. And we can feel crowded out by things in our life that are dead branches. This might seem simple, but I'm kind of thinking about my closet. Again. I know in a couple podcasts ago, I talked about the
magic art of tidying up and saying goodbye to clothes. But I've got these in my closet, I've got the live beautiful things that I like to wear. But maybe they just don't look good on me. They're still in style. And they might even be in good quality. Still, of course, they're just not good for me, I need to say goodbye to them. And then I've got clothes in there. Honestly, I have not worn in two years. I haven't worn it in three years. But it's still there. And sometimes when I'm looking through my closet, I end up buying something else because I can't see to find the thing that I'm really looking for. And it causes confusion for me. So if I would just purge my closet, say goodbye to those things that are not wearing and that aren't bringing any value to me Say bye bye, I would find that my decisions are easier. And I would find that I would actually see the items that I've purchased that I do want to wear. So pruning, you know it makes sense when things aren't productive. A friend pulling us down a habit getting in the way a promotion that probably will lead to harm. Those things should be pruned away from our life because they are no good. And we need to focus our energy on the things that move us forward. Right? That makes sense. Things that don't bring us value. Yeah, we we like them, we enjoy them. But the truth is, yeah, they don't bring us value. It makes sense when those things are pruned out of her life. But I'll go back to saying it is painful at times, when we feel like we are being fruitful, we are on the right track, and things get pruned out of our life. But I want to just encourage you once again, that you might be doing everything right. And that's why you're in a season of pruning, because you are producing fruit. But for sustainability, and to go to the next level, from average, to Above Average, to spectacular, you have to get very focused, you have to narrow down what it is you want to spend your time, talent, and treasure on. And so some things have to go. It's called a necessary ending, we have to say goodbye to it, it has to come to an end, we have to say this is beautiful, and it was good. And it's right. But it's not for me. And it's not for now. So healthy pruning is meant to prepare you for amazing growth. So look at it that way in your life, you know, when you can be smart, and you can see that pruning, we prune with the outcome in mind, we prune when we say this branch right here does not bring us to our ultimate vision. This, this activity right here does not feed into where ultimately I see myself going. This right here is fun and enjoying. But it does take a lot of time. And I'm never going to excel in it. And I'm really not that passionate about it. But I said yes to it. And I don't know how to get out of it. It's a great thing, but it's not for me. So pruning says I have to have the bravery and the courage to let it go. And when you're in that season, you know what's happening to you. Your character is getting strong, you're growing in wisdom. You're getting resilient, you're learning persistence, you are being brave. And you're saying goodbye to something that's kind of chaining you to an average existence. And now you're ready to be successful, to be wealthy and prosperous, to be fully satisfied, to enjoy life. To say, Boy, I'm not tired, like I used to be. I am enjoying the new growth that's coming from my life. I've just freed up some space. And now actually, I can bloom because that's the ultimate purpose is to find your potential, not just to have a lot of things going on, but to come into that place where you're producing beautiful blooms or fruit in your life. So let me know if that's you. Are you in a cut back season? Well, you can get bitter, you can grumble, you can feel depressed or you can even feel like somehow you're being punished. But when you show up doing the next right thing, smiling, being generous, keep coming back, put your shoulders back your head up. Even when you're in the cutback season, you are passing the test. You're going into greatness. You're proving to God in the universe that you're ready for more. You have put yourself in a position where you can be trusted.
Yes, it was uncomfortable. Yes, it hurt. Yes, it was a season of waiting and maybe even grieving. But now you're ready. And you are going to do great things. So this is my word for you today.
