Welcome to Wisdom-Trek with Gramps. We are on Day 1735 of our Trek, and it’s time to explore another nugget of wisdom, which includes an inspirational quote along with some wise words from Gramps for today’s trek. Hello, my friend; this is Gramps. Thanks for coming along on today’s trek as we increase Wisdom and Create a Living Legacy. Proverbs 16:16 How much better to get wisdom than gold, and sound judgment than silver!    If you apply the words you hear today, over time, it will help you become more healthy, wealthy, and wise as you continue your daily trek of life. So let’s jump right in with today’s nugget:

Today’s quote is from Unknown, and it is: A leader leads by example, whether he intends to or not.

Lead By Example

This quote is undoubtedly accurate. Everyone is involved in leadership of some kind, even if it is your children, nieces, and nephews, or a meeting where you participate. We may verbalize our leadership to others, but the example we leave to those we lead will speak much louder than any words or proclamations that we may utter. As the old cliché says, we must walk our talk. What we say will have a minor impact on others. However, what we do, and how we act will have a significant effect on others. It is similar to reputation. We all have a reputation. How we serve and what we say in life determines if that reputation is good or bad. Since you are leading others, ensure that your example is worth following. Your example should be so ethical that you would not mind your kids or grandkids following you.

Psalm 71:7

My life is an example to many, because you have been my strength and protection.
