FC Southsea enjoyed a special visit from Pastor Steuart and Pastor Carla who have assumed the role of Senior Pastors at Family Church Southsea, succeeding the founding pastors Andy and Gina after their 28-year tenure.

The message focuses on the "in between" period, exploring the time between Jesus's ascension and his promised return, as discussed in John 13–16.

Pastor Steuart’s message emphasizes that while life often brings unexpected storms, maintaining faith allows for finding peace and purpose amidst the challenges. The message highlights that spiritual strength is developed through reliance on divine guidance rather than self-reliance alone.

Dwelling on the parable of the talents in Matthew 25, we are encouraged here to know our role, understand our responsibilities, get on with it, be patient, be accountable and be ready. We should all relate to at least one, if not more of these points, and will be convicted by the Holy Spirit to seek God's help in growing in these areas at this time. Let's be faithful to the calling of God as disciples of Christ at this in-between time.
