So dear listeners, we were definitely not remembering this book the way it happened! I (Bridget) ended up liking it SOOO much more than I thought I was going to, and Shani ended up liking it a lot less.
I was pleasantly surprised by Marissa’s arc in this book, I loved that she grew a backbone and started standing up for herself and figuring out what she wanted.
Shani definitely thought this book was a building block and as you can see below or hear in the episode, she thought he was being a little whiney bitch a lot of the time.
