"If we turn our hearts away from God, we stop producing fruit."- Wesleyne

Word of the Day:

Remain in me, and I will remain in you. For a branch cannot produce fruit if it is severed from the vine, and you cannot be fruitful unless you remain in me.- John 15:4-5

Summary

Just like a branch needs to remain attached to the vine to produce fruit, we need to stay rooted in our relationship with God to live fruitful lives.

When we lean into Him, we allow God to fill those empty spaces in our hearts and guide us in everything we do.

When a branch is cut off, it withers and dies.

That’s what happens to us spiritually if we turn away from God.

We become disconnected and stop producing the good things in our lives.

But if we remain in Him, He promises to remain in us.

So let’s embrace that connection, trust Him, and remember that with God, we can do so much more.

Stay rooted in faith, and see the amazing fruit that comes from that relationship.

Remain in me and I will remain in you. For a branch cannot produce fruit if it is severed from the vine and you cannot be fruitful unless you remain in me. Yes, I am the vine, you are the branches. Those who remain in me and I in them will produce much fruit for apart from me, you can do nothing. John 15 verses four and five.

This chapter, this entire chapter of John 15 is so profound. It is a great thing to read, to meditate on if you need to be reminded where your strength comes from, if you need to be reminded who our true living, loving God is. This verse says, remain in me and I will remain in you.

Literally, if we stay rooted in our word, if we stay close to God, He will always be in us. He's right there with us. Have you ever thought about that? That the more that you lean in, the more that you allow God to fill the gaps within you, to speak to your heart, He will stay with you.

The next sentence says, branch cannot produce fruit if it's severed from the vine. And you cannot be fruitful unless you remain from me. Have you ever seen a tree branch sitting on the floor and you see the tree still flourishing and producing leaves and fruit and that branch is just withering up and drying and dying, essentially turning brown and.

Wesleyne (:

No longer can it produce fruit. It can't. Once that branch has left that tree, it produces no fruit. And when we turn our minds, when we turn our hearts away from God.

That's what happens. We stop producing fruit. We're no longer connected to the vine.

where the branches, He is the vine. Think about a vine that's on a fence. You see the thick parts of the vine and then you see all of these branches coming out. And that is literally what it's like to be a child of God. We are all connected to the vine and we are branches, branching out.

doing different things in life, impacting different people. And if we are apart from God, we can do nothing, nothing without God. We can do nothing. If we turn our backs on God, we can do nothing. If we turn our hearts away from God, we can do nothing. So.

Remain in Him and He will remain in you.
