Season One is a wrap!

I thank those of you that have listened to me as I figure out this podcast thing! I have learned much about everything podcasting and look forward to growing even more as I continue this journey.

If you listened this season you probably heard bits about my purpose and exploring Oneness; about miracles and coincidences, signs about manifesting; you’ve heard guests talking about connection with dogs and jobs and health and communities – and it’s all been perfect! In connectedness there is no wrong way, so even if I thought I could have done something “better”, I’ll surrender to the idea that it’s all just fine as is.

So what’s next?

Definitely more podcasts!

  • I’m going to switch my format to serial instead of seasons, but as a listener – you shouldn’t see (um, hear) any difference!
  • I’ll have more guests and am busy lining them up right now.
  • Including one about shared death experiences – you’ve probably heard of near death experiences, well this is a whole new level! Listen to this podcast to hear more about it…
  • I want to answer more of your questions – so ask! You can fill out this form here
  • And of course, so many ideas and tips on how you can live easier and in a more meaningful way – however you define it.

I’m so glad we’ve had this time together . . . so long season one!

PS did you ever wonder about my weird episode titles? The first 6 episodes or so? They’re all from songs, and the songs were inspired by what I was talking about. As i was outlining or getting the episode ready, those are the songs that came to me. In one of the episodes I talk about the fact I’ve found myself singing a lot since I quit my job. And I do, LOL, I walk around the house singing. I mean I sing the weirdest things, not just songs, to the cats and the dogs and the chickens and the fireplace and anything else. So there it is – I’m thinking life is a song when you’re happy 🙂 🙂

Can you name all the songs? Also, how about my sign off on this episode just above, what is that from?  Contact me

rev karen:

Welcome to the Connectedness Podcast.

rev karen:

Just as you might have guessed, I talk about connection in this

rev karen:

podcast, our connection with everything in the world around us.

rev karen:

We're connected, whether we see it or not.

rev karen:

Whether it's your connection with your dog and your.

rev karen:

Or your connection with your God.

rev karen:

Also, I talk about things that are more abstract, like your connections with your

rev karen:

career or your land, your community, your family, your emotions, your body Life

rev karen:

is truly all about connections, and the sooner we recognize this, the sooner we

rev karen:

get to have an easier, more enjoyable.

rev karen:

I am gonna talk about these connections through different lenses, but things

rev karen:

like synchronicities and coincidences, or everyday little bits of magic or

rev karen:

miracles that we tend to dismiss, it's important we pay attention to

rev karen:

all of this to help us, like I said, live an easier, more satisfying life.

rev karen:

So welcome to the show.

rev karen:

I'm your host, Reverend Karen in Cleveland.

):

Hello and welcome to the season finale of season one.

):

I can't believe I've finished recording podcasts for an entire season.

):

There has been a lot of.

):

Growth from my part along the way, I've changed some things.

):

I didn't do all the episodes I thought I was going to do.

):

I added some episodes.

):

I didn't know I was going to do.

):

And it's been a lot of fun.

):

I, I love it.

):

And I've gotten some nice comments from some of you.

):

Thank you so much for listening to season one or parts of season one.

):

Whatever it was that you heard I'm.

):

Honestly, super appreciative of it.

):

Now, if you did listen to season one, you heard some things about why I do this.

):

Why am I podcasting?

):

And why do I want happiness for everyone?

):

Why does everyone deserve to be happy?

):

And.

):

Why am I so.

):

Invested in it.

):

I don't remember exactly what I said, but I will tell you.

):

There's some selfish reasons to it.

):

I mean, I really want.

):

Everyone to be happy because.

):

I have come to realize we don't have to dwell in the suffering and the.

):

Misery that I was in.

):

A lot of my life.

):

That it can be better and it doesn't have to be that hard to get better, but also

):

it's, there's selfish reasons I haven't talked a lot about this aspect of it, but.

):

As a person that picks up on the feelings of the world,

):

some people call us and paths.

):

Some people call us highly sensitive people.

):

Whatever it is.

):

I do pick up on.

):

Other people, animal emotions and feelings.

):

And for that reason alone, it makes me feel better if you feel better.

):

So.

):

There's my main selfish reason for wanting you to be happy and feel good.

):

Some of the other things I've got into the season has been exploring oneness

):

and what it is and what is connectedness.

):

Certainly I talked all about miracles and coincidences and signs and

):

manifesting and trusting yourself.

):

And one episode, I actually talked a little bit deeper about what

):

is the connection between mindset and spiritual practices and law

):

of attraction and connectedness,

):

because sometimes it's hard for us to understand.

):

The link between everything.

):

I think I mentioned that connectedness is my top Clifton strength.

):

I probably mentioned it a couple of times because mainly because I was a

):

little shocked the first time I saw it.

):

But that helps me understand the links between things.

):

And so I'm just trying to help everyone else understand these

):

links because I fully believe.

):

It is these links between things that always exist.

):

It's just that we don't always know they're there or see them or feel them,

):

but it's this connection with everything that really helps us out in our lives.

):

If we want it to be an easy life, a successful life, a.

):

Purposeful or more meaningful life.

):

It's these links that do that.

):

Essentially I've talked all about connectedness, always to be easier

):

to be in connection with the one.

):

And then of course I had some guests this season as well.

):

I had Lola talk about her connection with her body and her dog.

):

And Mary talked about her connection with her purpose and her job and her dogs.

):

Sherry.

):

Talked about.

):

, her community, her connection with her community.

):

that was a lot of fun and I think I've had the best feedback from the guest episodes.

):

I understand.

):

It's more fun to listen to a couple of people than just one person.

):

So guess what that means.

):

Coming up.

):

What's next, right?

):

What's coming up next season.

):

First I want to say I'm actually not doing seasons anymore.

):

So the end of season one, let's just say season one was my beginning.

):

My experiment, my.

):

Foray into the podcasting and I'm going to start with cereal podcasting.

):

What does that mean to you?

):

Nothing.

):

It means you still get to see my podcast and hit, play and play it.

):

I'm just not doing an official season.

):

It's just going to be cereal and I'm going to have more guests and I'm going

):

to go according to themes . There's a lot of things that are strategy on my

):

end, as far as how I plan them out, what I'm going to talk about each week.

):

But really on your end, it means you just hit the play button and

):

it's all pretty much the same.

):

Some of the topics.

):

That I will absolutely go deeper into are going to be mindset and law of attraction,

):

spiritual practices, mindfulness.

):

Anything that's about soul evolution, anything that's about

):

the growth, anything that's about connectedness and our consciousness.

):

I am lining up more guests right now, not every episode, but

):

there's going to be more guests than I've had this past season.

):

I'm going to be guesting on other podcasts as well.

):

You might accidentally hear me on someone else's podcast.

):

Some of the topics.

):

Are going to be a little bit of stretch for some people.

):

You've probably heard of near-death experiences.

):

Well, I'm going to have an expert talk about shared death experiences.

):

The first time I heard about it, I heard him talk about it.

):

I was just kind of floored.

):

I had no idea.

):

Until I started thinking about my previous experiences.

):

So shared death experience is when someone, a living person.

):

Is somehow drawn into the death experience of a loved one or someone

):

they know, or maybe a patient or a client , one of the stories is a,

):

a mother I believe in the United States and their child in Australia.

):

And let's be fair.

):

I might have the country's wrong.

):

I might have the, genders wrong.

):

I just know it's a parent and a child.

):

And I think it's Australia anyways, the child is dying and at the same

):

time the child is dying the parent.

):

And I believe it's the mother.

):

Walks towards the light with the child.

):

Okay.

):

It's almost dreamlike.

):

But then they find out later on.

):

Yes.

):

That is the time.

):

Or we've certainly heard about these kinds of experiences with twins before.

):

Or being woken up in the middle of the night and knowing something's wrong.

):

And then one of your loved ones, something has happened to them.

):

Sometimes it happens with clients and caregivers to one story is a mother

):

laying with her son in the bed, I believe.

):

And she does walk with a child into the light.

):

So shared death experiences.

):

How does it fit with connectedness?

):

You might ask.

):

It's all about our soul evolution.

):

It's all about our soul growth and consciousness and

):

what our connections are.

):

Our consciousness lives on our soul lives on.

):

The very first time, I really, really, really understood.

):

That was the first time I talked to a animal that had passed on now being

):

an animal communicator and talking with animals, that's kind of a stretch

):

as it is, or it was for me at first psych what we can talk to animals and

):

I'm not getting into that right now.

):

I'll get into it later.

):

Another episode.

):

But when you talk to an animal that's passed over.

):

Their body is dead.

):

You know, they're dead.

):

They're in the ground.

):

And.

):

It's.

):

A tricky moment.

):

When.

):

You've been raised.

):

In this materialistic world.

):

That talks about.

):

The body dying and that's it.

):

Now all the religions treat dying and death and our soul

):

a little bit differently.

):

But to actually realize for myself, That this animal I was talking to is dead.

):

Is technically dead.

):

But yet they're telling me all about their experience during

):

their life with their person.

):

It just made me wonder.

):

Then what else is possible?

):

Clearly it's true for animals.

):

So it must be true for people because.

):

Oh, yeah.

):

We're animals too.

):

So what else is possible?

):

What else?

):

Is going on in that world.

):

Where that animal is existing right now, as I communicate with them.

):

Back to the connectedness aspect.

):

We're still connected.

):

Not only are we connected with people, animals, everything, when we're alive.

):

But even after they pass on that connection.

):

Link does not break.

):

It never breaks.

):

You can't see them.

):

Physically.

):

But it's still there.

):

All right.

):

So that's just one of the things I'm getting into.

):

In the next, let's just call it next a year.

):

Okay.

):

I have a whole 12 months in the next year of , of hopefully

):

weekly or biweekly episodes.

):

And they're going to be interesting.

):

They're going to have guest experts and guests every day.

):

People telling stories and talking about this connection.

):

Our connectedness, how we can take advantage of it, what we can do with it.

):

How we can live better lives.

):

I look forward to.

):

Connecting with you later.

):

I hope you go to my contact page, where I have Karen podcasts.com.

):

And let me know, what's been your favorite episode.

):

What kind of questions do you have?

):

What do you want to hear more about?

):

. I want to say one thing and I did put it on my show notes.

):

The first six or seven episodes I did had titles that came from songs.

):

Some of the last episodes didn't because the titles were just getting crazy long

):

with the guests and stuff, But I wonder if you noticed those were from songs

):

and if you know what songs they're from and I'm going to end with, I'm not going

):

to sing, but I'm going to end with.

):

I'm so glad we had this time together.

):

Just to have a laugh and sing a song.

):

So long season one.

):

Bye.
