Your tactical specialist here to give you advice on how to win more matches.

What do you do when you feel like a person is attacking you all the time and you're losing

points and you don't understand why?

I want you to start observing on your backhand wing how often you hit slices.

A lot of players, especially men, over hit the slice, they use it as a defensive impulse

when somebody comes after their backhand.

When you watch good players and let's throw the pros at it.

Let's think about top juniors, college players.

Most of the players that do well are able to hit over the backhand and play defense with

topspin and flat balls.

When you're over hitting the slice, you allow your opponent to see that it's your glaring

weakness and they start to attack it more and more.

So next time, hit more over the ball and you'll see how you win a few more points.
