A) God has given us…which clearly means that we did not earn it, deserve it, or any other form of the performance process. He gave it to us. And he doesn’t take it back what He has given. B) But how did God give eternal life to us? He gave it to us through Jesus Christ. Again, not through a deserving process, but a receiving with thanksgiving process. C) Jesus is Pro-life. If you are not pro-life, you do NOT connect to Jesus. D) These things were written so that we may KNOW, not wonder if we have eternal life. So we can have absolute assurance regarding our salvation and our eternity? How? Because, at our core, we know it… and we love it.
