Shownotes
This is a very interesting look at Health Care and Awareness outside of the States. I talked to a woman named Mia who lives in the Philippines. She tells me that there is a class system there, basically, working class, middle class, and upper class. Except for the upper class, it is hard to get proper mental health care, since the psychiatrists and depression drugs are very expensive.
Mia and her Daughter both seemed to be suffering from some form of depression as she describes in this episode. Come hear her story and consider yourself lucky you live in the States. How many other places don't have the awareness of mental illness and needlessly suffer?
For my subscribers, sorry it’s been so long since i published. I have moved from NC to Charleston SC for my retirement and didn't have the time to produce an episode till now. But in the future, i should have a least one episode a week. Spread the word, so we can tackle the monster called depression together.
