Shownotes

After 30 days of livestreaming every single day, I’ve got a few things to say about video confidence, consistency, and doing things before you’re ready. I didn’t start this challenge with a plan to beat video anxiety, start a podcast, or build a mountain of repurposable content. But that’s what happened.

In this episode, I’m sharing the messy truth about what it really takes to show up on camera when you're not feeling confident, when the tech fails, and when you’d honestly rather hide under a doona. Spoiler alert: your audience does not care if your lighting is dodgy or you cough mid-sentence. What they care about is that you’re showing up.

I talk through how I prepped content without over-prepping, what gear I actually use (and what you don’t need), and how livestreaming gave me my spark back after a rough start to the year.

There’s also a bunch in here about the power of repurposing and why going live with zero people watching might be the best thing that ever happens to you.

If you’ve ever wanted to make video, livestreams, or any kind of content more consistently but felt stuck, nervous, or like you had to wait until you had it all figured out, this one’s for you.

In this episode:

  • Why I committed to 30 days of livestreams (and how I stuck to it)
  • How I prep my content using ChatGPT without sounding robotic
  • What I’ve learned about video confidence by actually doing it
  • The gear I use (including what I didn’t need at all)
  • The truth about tech meltdowns, coughing fits, and camera nerves
  • How I launched a podcast without planning to
  • Why livestreaming with no one watching can still grow your business
  • My favourite mindset shifts, rituals, and repurposing tips

Transcripts

Speaker:

Today marks almost a month since

I decided to do something a little

2

:

bit different in my business.

3

:

I started a live streaming

challenge for myself.

4

:

No one told me to, no one suggested it.

5

:

I came up with it along with, uh, chat,

DPT as an idea to get myself out of

6

:

a bit of a funk that I found myself

after taking some time off work from

7

:

holidays and then getting really sick

afterwards and just feeling a little

8

:

bit disconnected, and I thought it

would be a really great reflection as.

9

:

This was something that pushed me very

much outside of my comfort zone as someone

10

:

who is self-described video anxious.

11

:

And I've learned some cool

stuff and it feels almost a

12

:

little bit weird sharing it.

13

:

But when I was, um, going through

and prepping the notes for this

14

:

session, firstly I thought I was

gonna do a session on how to actually

15

:

set up tech and how to use streamy

yard and, and things like that.

16

:

The, the actual tools that

I have been using for this.

17

:

Live streaming challenge just in

case it's motivated you and you're

18

:

like, yeah, I wanna do it too.

19

:

But as I was prepping those notes

and I got past that kind of, you

20

:

know, surface level of, Hey, this

is what you do and, you know, use

21

:

this software and blah, blah, blah.

22

:

I realized that this has had a much

deeper and better purpose for me

23

:

than I ever could have realized.

24

:

I have kissed goodbye to video anxiety.

25

:

Maybe not completely.

26

:

I've nearly eliminated video anxiety,

but it's just not something that I even

27

:

think of anymore because I have done

the thing where the more you do it, the

28

:

more you get comfortable with doing it.

29

:

So I wanted to share some of the

experiences and lessons that I have had

30

:

in case it inspires you to do something

that makes you feel a little bit awkward

31

:

or uncomfortable, or is pushing you

outside of your comfort zone because.

32

:

I know it sounds like some sort

of cheesy card or, you know,

33

:

inspirational bro quote on Twitter, but.

34

:

There really is so much magic

outside of the comfort zone, and

35

:

sometimes until you actually do these

things, you can't experience it.

36

:

So I wanted to share with you today, and

please let me know in the comments if

37

:

this inspires you to do something similar.

38

:

Maybe it's live streaming,

maybe it's something else.

39

:

Um, but the thing is.

40

:

Whatever it is that is scaring

you, I am here today to really

41

:

encourage you to do it and do it.

42

:

In all its messy, glorious goodness.

43

:

There have been some disasters

during this live stream, and none

44

:

of them have impacted any of the

good stuff that has come out of it.

45

:

There was one session where I had

coughing fit in the middle of it,

46

:

about two minutes, I had to turn

my camera off, my microphone off.

47

:

I was worried I wasn't even

gonna be able to restart.

48

:

And then even the audio after

that, I'm barely able to.

49

:

Speak as I was still trying

to stop myself from coughing.

50

:

I didn't even have good sound for the

first two because I forgot to connect

51

:

my microphone to the camera correctly.

52

:

So I was picking up the, uh,

microphone, uh, sorry, the camera audio.

53

:

There was one day where I didn't even

have audio at all for the first three

54

:

minutes, and thankfully some people were

on that day and were able to tell me

55

:

a little sad that I was exceptionally

brilliant in that silent part, and I

56

:

had to try and recreate it afterwards.

57

:

These are all things that happened

and things that can happen as you do.

58

:

Things that you don't yet feel comfortable

with and you're not yet good at.

59

:

The point of doing it is to get good.

60

:

The point of doing it is to learn a

new skill, and sometimes learning the

61

:

new skill can only be learned by doing

and failing and making mistakes, doing

62

:

things imperfectly and badly in order

to get to being really good at it.

63

:

There is a big lesson that I

have learned in the getting

64

:

stuck in learning because that is

something that really held me back.

65

:

I was like, oh, I, I'll live stream

once I know how to do it better.

66

:

I watched so many, I.

67

:

YouTube videos and other things.

68

:

You know, I, I put off versions of

doing, you know, any kind of video.

69

:

I was like, oh, I'm video anxious.

70

:

Like, I, I owned that.

71

:

Like it was my identity, it was

my reason for not doing things.

72

:

So feeling uncomfortable and I feel

like it kind of gave me an excuse

73

:

to hide behind not doing video.

74

:

Um, and obviously, you know, there's

a whole lot of, um, life challenges

75

:

and mental health challenges and stuff

like that that can contribute to that.

76

:

But it was that thing where

it kind of took over my.

77

:

I think I'd almost say it was, it was

this block or this inability to do video.

78

:

I kept trying to watch and learn ways to

do it better, and I was like, all right,

79

:

maybe I'll record this way, or I'll get

this camera, like I have my, you know,

80

:

fancy new camera that I got for vlogging

that I'm yet to make a single vlog on.

81

:

Thankfully, it's also a fantastic webcam

as well, but I've had that for a year

82

:

now, more than a year, and have not

yet used it because I have done hours

83

:

of YouTube tutorials and all these

things, you know, thinking that another

84

:

lesson or you know, a how to set it

up is the thing that's going to tip me

85

:

into doing that, and none of it did.

86

:

The reason that this livestream challenge

has actually got me to make video again

87

:

after months and months and months of

feeling a lot of resistance and not

88

:

really making videos is because I just

had to show up and do it imperfectly.

89

:

There was no, oh look, you

know, my hair's not good today.

90

:

My makeup's.

91

:

Not good.

92

:

I'm not feeling it.

93

:

Oh, you know, I'll do it tomorrow.

94

:

I was very, very good at finding

all of the excuses in the world

95

:

not to make a recorded video.

96

:

Then I was like, well,

video's the problem.

97

:

It's my video anxiety.

98

:

That's why I can't do it.

99

:

You know?

100

:

I just have to figure

out how to get over that.

101

:

So maybe I'll do audio instead.

102

:

And you would think that

audio would be something super

103

:

easy for me, like a podcast.

104

:

I, if you don't know, am an ex radio

person who spent 10 years working

105

:

as a freelance voiceover artist.

106

:

I have done 10,000 plus

voiceover projects.

107

:

My voice is everywhere I recorded

for a living, so I have all the fancy

108

:

audio equipment, all the things.

109

:

Do you think I did it?

110

:

No.

111

:

There were still things holding

me back, reasons, excuses, my head

112

:

gremlins the junk that is there

that stopped that from happening.

113

:

And maybe you can relate.

114

:

Maybe you've got your own mind

gremlins that are telling you stories

115

:

and reasons why not to do things.

116

:

So the audio didn't happen either just.

117

:

Despite the good intentions, despite the,

oh, I'll just record things on the fly.

118

:

I was like, oh, I can't

record in this space.

119

:

It doesn't sound good.

120

:

Oh, I need to get sound foam.

121

:

I literally have a pile of sound

foam sitting in the living room of

122

:

this apartment that we've rented

in kl thinking that that was the

123

:

reason why I couldn't record audio.

124

:

I still yet am to make this, you know.

125

:

Um, makeshift audio booth that I was

gonna make to make it sound better

126

:

because, you know, I couldn't possibly

release audio without it sounding good.

127

:

These are all stories we tell ourselves,

these stories, and the reason I

128

:

like live streaming as this thing.

129

:

Thankfully I have had experience

where I've done it before.

130

:

I think in 2021, I did a live

streaming challenge for myself.

131

:

I didn't actually get to the end of it,

which this time I'm like, I'm getting

132

:

to the end even though the last one

of these is gonna come to you live

133

:

from a park in Tokyo or something.

134

:

'cause I'm going to

Japan this weekend, but.

135

:

The fact is, when you commit

to doing something, you are

136

:

going to do it regardless.

137

:

If it has a time and date, if there

is an appointment for it, you are

138

:

so much more likely to get it done.

139

:

And how I made it easier for myself is

that I didn't make the appointment the

140

:

exact same time every day because if I

had done that, something would've come up.

141

:

I would've had the reason like, oh, I

can't do it at 10 o'clock on this day.

142

:

I just won't do it.

143

:

So my commitment to myself with doing

the 30 days is that it doesn't matter

144

:

what time of the day, but I am gonna

show up every day and you better

145

:

believe there are days that I didn't

want to do it in the first week.

146

:

And I apologize if this was annoying.

147

:

I even changed the time until I realized

that when I was changing the time,

148

:

it kept sending out notifications

saying This event has been canceled.

149

:

This event is, you know,

there is a new event.

150

:

And when I realized that,

I was like, okay, no.

151

:

Stick to the time.

152

:

And even though, and again, I apologize if

you've waited around for my live streams,

153

:

even if I felt that nervousness and felt

that fear and I've ended up going late, if

154

:

I've ended up, you know, having to really

talk myself into it, I've still done

155

:

it and that I am so freaking proud of.

156

:

Even some days I've done it and I'm like.

157

:

That was not my best work.

158

:

I was rambling.

159

:

Um, it just wasn't as

good as I wanted it to be.

160

:

I got really high standards for myself,

which can be really frustrating, and

161

:

another reason why just recording

videos wasn't working for me.

162

:

But even despite that, I have done it

and I have showed up every day, and

163

:

I will continue to show up for the

next few days to get to the end of it.

164

:

That has taught me that

I can be consistent.

165

:

I've had this message, again, this

is these mindset gremlins that,

166

:

you know, trap us and keep us stuck

and thinking we can't do things.

167

:

And you know, consistency is

a message that is preached

168

:

widely, um, across everywhere.

169

:

In the online space, you

have to be consistent.

170

:

And if you don't show off and

be consistent, you know there's

171

:

something wrong with you.

172

:

And I really struggle with consistency.

173

:

It's one of my biggest challenges.

174

:

I'm really good at being, you know,

prolific for a period of time, and

175

:

then I kind of drop off for a while.

176

:

But this has kept me consistent because.

177

:

My only thing that I'm setting, I'm

not making it, that I have to be really

178

:

good and awesome on these live streams.

179

:

I'm just making it that I'm going

to show up, I'm going to do it, and

180

:

if it's not great, I still did it.

181

:

The doing it is the thing that I

set for myself as a challenge, and

182

:

it's made me realize that I can.

183

:

Actually be consistent.

184

:

If I take some of the constraints

off myself, if I let my perfectionism

185

:

go, there are so many things that I

wanted to do with this live stream,

186

:

and I'm sure it would make it better.

187

:

I am gonna spend the next month like

learning how to, you know, maybe add

188

:

some extra visuals onto the screen,

add some slides and stuff like that.

189

:

But when I have attempted to do it.

190

:

That has made me get flustered

and trying to do that live.

191

:

I don't have shortcut keys set up, and it

just felt like another barrier and another

192

:

thing that was gonna stop me doing it.

193

:

So I was like, you know what?

194

:

I'm gonna turn up, I'm gonna show

the, turn the camera on, show up.

195

:

I do prep some notes in advance, and I am

gonna show in the technical part, not the,

196

:

uh, the mindset part of this live stream.

197

:

I'm gonna go through some of

the things that I have actually

198

:

been doing to help me do it.

199

:

And maybe for you, it's not

showing up on a live stream.

200

:

Maybe that's.

201

:

Not the thing.

202

:

Maybe it's that you wanna be producing

some kind of content more regularly.

203

:

Maybe it is a podcast.

204

:

Maybe it's something where you just wanna

set that goal for yourself that you are

205

:

gonna do it even if it is imperfect.

206

:

So.

207

:

Um, I will go through some of the things

that I've done that have allowed me

208

:

to actually have the consistency when

I'm not consistent and allowed me to

209

:

show up on video every day for a month,

even though I have video anxiety and

210

:

I'm gonna get that story out of my

mindset because I don't think I do.

211

:

Once I start the camera, I'm fine.

212

:

And I think it's that thing where, because

I get nervous before I turn the camera on.

213

:

I felt like that was some kind of.

214

:

Knee thing, but it's an everyone thing.

215

:

It's so natural, like we're

all going to get nervous.

216

:

Essentially you're going out onto a

virtual stage when you turn the camera

217

:

on and worse, you can't even see people

and you can't even see their reaction.

218

:

So you're in this room on

your own, talking to a camera,

219

:

feeling like a bit of an ty.

220

:

So, um, so it's normal to get nervous

and I kind of think I turned that

221

:

normal nervous reaction into some

kind of block that made me feel like

222

:

I was, you know, there was something

wrong with me that fulfilling.

223

:

That.

224

:

And one of the things that I've

realized is that every day, even as

225

:

I've gone on, and who knows, maybe

if I keep doing this for a year, not

226

:

gonna do it daily, but maybe weekly.

227

:

But if I keep doing this, maybe I'm

still gonna have those feelings.

228

:

Maybe I'm still every time gonna

have to do the, okay, okay, I'm good.

229

:

I got this.

230

:

Before I turn the camera on.

231

:

And it's, the thing is, is I'm not

gonna let that stop me from now on.

232

:

I'm just gonna do it anyway and

I'm gonna be okay with not being

233

:

perfect and polished and presented.

234

:

And this not looking like Marie

Folio TV or any of those, you know,

235

:

really highly polished, um, things

that you see online because those

236

:

people have teams to help them.

237

:

These amazing, beautiful YouTube videos

with heaps of cool transitions and um,

238

:

you know, sharp editing and perfect

hooks and all of that kind of stuff.

239

:

That is usually not someone

doing it by themselves.

240

:

That is usually someone that has a team.

241

:

And what you are seeing is the

result of them doing this for years.

242

:

You are not seeing someone's day one.

243

:

And I think I've said this in, um,

in one of the other live streams I.

244

:

When you wanna see to compare

it to where you are at.

245

:

Go back to someone's first videos, look

at where they were in the beginning.

246

:

And Stacy, it is beautiful that you are

here because I was gonna tell the story of

247

:

how you were telling me that when you were

looking at my older videos on YouTube.

248

:

You're like, wow, I can

really see the difference.

249

:

But that is true for everyone.

250

:

You don't get better at a skill

until you do it more, and you do

251

:

it again, and you do it again.

252

:

There isn't a shortcut to learning.

253

:

You have got to be able to.

254

:

Put in the reps.

255

:

And that feels like another one of

those cheesy LinkedIn bro sayings.

256

:

But it's true.

257

:

The only way to get better at things

is by implementing them and doing them.

258

:

And we can get stuck in this cycle

of feeling like we have to learn

259

:

more or just another course or

another checklist or something else.

260

:

We need to do that first

and then we can do it.

261

:

But you know, this has really

taught me that the only way

262

:

to do it is by doing it and.

263

:

Being okay with it not being perfect

because you'll get things better

264

:

and you will improve and you can't

get to that, you know, version five

265

:

of yourself without going through

all of the other versions first.

266

:

So that is some of the things that

I have, um, learned in this 30 days

267

:

before I get into the, you know, the

technical how to, the stuff I tend to

268

:

fall back on 'cause it feels really

safe, like sharing some of this stuff.

269

:

Is me sort of getting

out of my comfort zone.

270

:

Like it's one of those things in my

business, if you've followed me for a

271

:

while, like I'm a Kajabi strategist,

I help people with the tech and it's

272

:

really easy to hide behind that.

273

:

And I'm trying to push myself into

more sharing about what I think

274

:

about the creator economy and um,

you know, the online digital product

275

:

space and some of the mindset junk

that people can come up against.

276

:

Because often it is not

the tactics and strategies.

277

:

Stop us from achieving.

278

:

It's the just doing it and the,

and the feeling confident to do it.

279

:

You can have all the information,

you can have the blueprints.

280

:

You can download the a hundred million

dollar, you know, course templates from

281

:

the people that have done it before.

282

:

But what can make the

difference is the actual.

283

:

Doing it.

284

:

And, um, if that's you and you are getting

stuck there, hey, I get stuck there too.

285

:

And I've been doing this for six years,

so I'm like, let's get out of it together.

286

:

Let's go through this together and

I'll share what I'm learning as someone

287

:

who's been doing it for a long time

so that, you know, you can get some

288

:

hopefully confidence from, from my

confidence and, um, getting out there.

289

:

Um, the thing as well, I think about.

290

:

Doing things imperfectly is, it's

actually in a way our biggest strength

291

:

as people who need to connect with other

people in order to show trust, to get

292

:

people to, um, to buy into basically us

selling the knowledge and skills of us.

293

:

Trust and connection is the

thing that sets us apart from ai.

294

:

The AI is flooding Everything

like AI is so accessible.

295

:

It's easy for people to learn from

tools like ai, but what people really

296

:

crave is connection and doing things

where you can allow that you part to

297

:

shine through and to do it imperfectly.

298

:

So the opposite of ai, and that

is why it is, um, so helpful.

299

:

And also, you may be tempted to

not do things because you're like,

300

:

oh, my audience is really small.

301

:

Like, I don't, I don't wanna show up.

302

:

Like I don't wanna live stream.

303

:

There's no one on the live stream.

304

:

I've done live streams in this 30 days

where there've been zero people on.

305

:

Do you know what there has been?

306

:

There have been people

watching the replays.

307

:

There have been people listening to the

podcast that I have created out of this.

308

:

I have created shorts and reels.

309

:

I'm probably gonna be able to create

more than a hundred pieces of short

310

:

form content from these live streams.

311

:

So even if the live streams themselves

haven't had massive reach in the

312

:

beginning, because I don't have a huge

audience of people that are like, oh, I'm

313

:

gonna tune into Sue's live stream today.

314

:

Not, you know, considering

the fact as well.

315

:

I don't even tell you what time it

is until a day because you know,

316

:

I'm not doing it for that purpose.

317

:

I was doing it for the purpose of

getting myself out of the funk to do

318

:

something that challenges me to get

more used to being on camera and all

319

:

of those things I was able to achieve.

320

:

I'm able to practice.

321

:

Even right now, I'm really concentrating

on looking at the camera because when

322

:

I looked at my videos, I realized that

was something that I struggled with.

323

:

I did a whole lot of like.

324

:

Looking around into the side, and I

struggled with keeping my eyes on the

325

:

camera because it's a skill that you

need to learn and that you need to train.

326

:

And sometimes I forget, especially if

I haven't had coffee before my session.

327

:

And it's all of that kind of stuff that

will allow people to connect with you.

328

:

You can create content that

you can repurpose, and I'll

329

:

go into what I'm doing with.

330

:

Repurposing.

331

:

Um, but is, well, like one of the

beautiful benefits about having a small

332

:

audience is when you have a giant coughing

fit or if your sound isn't working

333

:

or if something isn't perfect, you're

doing it in front of a smaller audience.

334

:

It's a lot easier when you are learning

to do it in front of a smaller audience

335

:

and when you are potentially reaching

thousands, but even when you are,

336

:

stuff is still going to go wrong.

337

:

Um.

338

:

It is not some kind of one and done thing

that you will learn a skill, you will do

339

:

something, even if you do it for 30 days.

340

:

If you're thinking about that

10,000 hours, hey, I've got about

341

:

9,900 hours still ahead of me,

of just putting the reps in, of

342

:

doing this, of being on camera, of

presenting in order to get better.

343

:

Like can you.

344

:

Freaking imagine how good I'm gonna be.

345

:

In fact, I should record this

video and, and keep it somewhere

346

:

and be like, were you here?

347

:

Back when I was, you know, first getting

my confidence up to go live and see

348

:

where I am at in 10 years, who knows?

349

:

Maybe I'll be on some awesome

stage somewhere and this will be

350

:

the thing that triggered that.

351

:

That's the whole point, is

it's not designed to get you to

352

:

that, you know, highest version.

353

:

It's designed to help you

on the journey to get there.

354

:

Okay, so let's look at

some tech of what you need.

355

:

So I'm gonna talk live streaming

here because that is what I've been

356

:

doing as part of this challenge.

357

:

Um, basically you need some kind of

video and some kind of way to have audio.

358

:

So you could use the

webcam on your camera.

359

:

That would be a hundred percent Okay.

360

:

Because you're starting in perfect.

361

:

If you have a better webcam.

362

:

Fantastic.

363

:

I am, um, very blessed to have

my beautiful dj I Osmo pocket

364

:

three, my vlogging camera.

365

:

That's.

366

:

Never yet made of vlog.

367

:

Um, we'll be soon.

368

:

Um, that's, that's my next challenge.

369

:

Um, but this, uh, camera,

I can use it as webcam.

370

:

Plug it straight in with a USB cable.

371

:

I freaking love it.

372

:

Um, it's very, very easy to set up.

373

:

It's zooms.

374

:

I don't have any lights in this room

apart from the overhead light, which is

375

:

one of the reasons I love it as well.

376

:

Being a digital nomad, I don't have

the same awesome setup that I had

377

:

in my office in Australia where

I had, you know, beautiful lights

378

:

that were dimmable, controllable.

379

:

They're just too heavy.

380

:

I've got one little light

with a battery and it's.

381

:

Really frustrating and it's hard

to actually position it somewhere.

382

:

So one of the main reasons I love

this camera so much is because I

383

:

don't need to have fancy lights.

384

:

The lighting is okay.

385

:

Sure.

386

:

I'm, it could be better.

387

:

Everything always could be better, but

it gives me that, you know, good enough.

388

:

I've just got one probably ugly,

crappy, fluoro overhead, a bit of

389

:

light from, um, a window here and

a bit of light from a door there.

390

:

And you know, it.

391

:

Does good enough light.

392

:

I do have this little microphone

that came with the, uh, DJI, I

393

:

think there's a creator combo.

394

:

I actually ended up buying them separately

because I bought the microphone first.

395

:

But it's a DJI, uh, mic.

396

:

Uh, not the mic mini.

397

:

I just have the DJ JI mic two.

398

:

The reason I got it as well is

that it connects up to my iPhone

399

:

because iPhone says I discovered.

400

:

Do not record the audio from your

headphones that records it in the

401

:

phone when you're making videos.

402

:

Um, but the DJ I mic, you can actually

plug that into your phone and connect up.

403

:

It's got a little box.

404

:

Uh, I won't, I won't show you.

405

:

It's got this.

406

:

This little thing that I've got

connected to my shirt, I actually

407

:

have a lav mic, um, attached to it.

408

:

I like using the lav mic.

409

:

I find that the mic's a bit heavy and it

pulls your shirt forward, but also the

410

:

lav mic, you can get it nice and close.

411

:

So that is what I use.

412

:

It's a little fancy.

413

:

Before, up until I bought this, um,

this camera, I had used a $99 Logitech

414

:

C 9 22 Pro, and I've made every other

video in my business before using that.

415

:

So this Osmo was a bit of an upgrade, but.

416

:

I love it and one day I'm gonna

make vlogs with it as well,

417

:

and you'll get to see those.

418

:

I can share some of my travel adventures.

419

:

Um, so what I would suggest

is start with what you have.

420

:

You could use.

421

:

EarPods, like I'm using the EarPods

just to sort of hear back, to make

422

:

sure everything is okay, but the actual

audio's coming through the microphone.

423

:

However, if you didn't have that, I've

made plenty of videos just using AirPods,

424

:

and that's a great way to get started.

425

:

So some sort of audio.

426

:

Um, ideally not the room audio, but

like I said, for the first two or

427

:

maybe three videos that I made, I

didn't even realize that the mic wasn't

428

:

connected to my camera because the

Bluetooth had dropped out and the audio.

429

:

It wasn't probably the best

still used, it still did.

430

:

It still, you know, made something that is

usable and helpful for people regardless

431

:

of the fact that it wasn't perfect.

432

:

So use what you have got.

433

:

Um, one of the things that I do find

really helpful is the second monitor.

434

:

So just because when you're

running the streaming.

435

:

Software.

436

:

Um, I'm using Streamy Yard, which

I'll talk about a little bit.

437

:

Um, I find that having my notes

on one screen and having Streamy

438

:

yard controls on another is easier.

439

:

I get a little flustered when I've

gotta go through, um, tabs and

440

:

different screens, and when I'm

trying to look at the camera, I.

441

:

It's a little bit hard when I'm

also trying to look at other things.

442

:

And if I have my notes just here,

I can just do a quick look down at

443

:

them and I can just scroll through.

444

:

So I've got my notes on

the screen off to the side.

445

:

Um, and then I can see if any

comments or anything that come

446

:

up on Streamy Yard on this side.

447

:

If you don't have a second

monitor, it doesn't need to be

448

:

some perfect second monitor.

449

:

You can get like the

cheapest $5,000 thing.

450

:

Facebook marketplace.

451

:

You can probably get a secondhand

monitor really easily, um, or you can

452

:

get, um, an iPad or something like

that to put your notes on a tablet.

453

:

Um, but two monitors

definitely makes it easier.

454

:

I have done it with one.

455

:

Um, but yeah, I do find the, I get a

little flustered with the tabs, so.

456

:

Um, you know, up to you and

how comfortable you feel.

457

:

I could probably set up some shortcut

keys, but then that just all got too hard.

458

:

So I did not, um, I am using

Streamy Yard for this, um, for

459

:

the software for what I'm doing.

460

:

The reason I'm using Streamy Yard

is because it allows you to stream

461

:

in multiple places at once, and I

am a little bit lazy in that way.

462

:

Um.

463

:

Like one software, I can go in there and

check the places that I want it to go.

464

:

So this stream is going live

to my Facebook business page.

465

:

It is going to my Facebook personal

page, which is actually the place

466

:

where I'm finding I'm getting the most

interaction, which is really interesting.

467

:

Um, it is also going to LinkedIn and

it is going onto YouTube, so I can

468

:

just check the box for each of those.

469

:

And it's gonna send out to

multiple places at once.

470

:

And.

471

:

Given that tomorrow's, um, little

Sue livestream pep talk is all

472

:

about how to not use social

media because I freaking hate it.

473

:

Um, it makes it really helpful

to be able to, you know, spread

474

:

yourself widely without technically

having to be in every place.

475

:

Uh, you can go live straight onto

platforms like Facebook, Instagram, live.

476

:

The only reason I'm not going onto

Instagram Live is that was another

477

:

roadblock that was gonna stop me from

doing it and put it off into the next day.

478

:

It's probably a five minute

thing, but I was just like, I.

479

:

You know what?

480

:

I don't even use Instagram much

anymore, so I'm not, I'm not

481

:

gonna worry about setting that up.

482

:

But you can also use Instagram

and depending on the streaming

483

:

software that you're using, there's

probably other options as well.

484

:

I used to post to Twitter back

when Twitter wasn't a cesspool.

485

:

Um, but I just don't bother now.

486

:

Um.

487

:

And with the Streamy Yard

software, I have a love hate

488

:

relationship with Streamy Yard.

489

:

I really like the software.

490

:

It's my favorite streaming

software that I've tried.

491

:

I've, you know, got the very, very

fancy ones and Streamy Yard is the best

492

:

combination of being very simple, but

also looks really good and is easy to use.

493

:

Um, it's very expensive though.

494

:

That's one of the things

that frustrates me.

495

:

They doubled their prices at the end

of last year and I was gonna try and

496

:

find something else and I was like.

497

:

I already know how to use it.

498

:

I'll pay for it for this month, and

then maybe I'll, I'll do some research

499

:

into finding something better.

500

:

It's one of those, um, you know,

like, I know it's expensive, but it

501

:

is good and it does work really well.

502

:

So I'm gonna stick with it for now.

503

:

Um, so I, with the stream,

actually also stream it through

504

:

to a landing page on my website.

505

:

Probably a bit of overkill for this

to actually do that because I needed

506

:

to go up to the next plan because

you need to stream it as a webinar.

507

:

However, um, I already had the page that

I had set up for the Kajabi fireside chat,

508

:

so I just needed to, you know, duplicate

it and make some changes to the page.

509

:

And it's been a really helpful

sort of home page for this

510

:

livestream, um, sessions.

511

:

But, you know, that is

totally extra and not needed.

512

:

I think I just did it because

that's how I did it the last

513

:

time I streamed and I was like.

514

:

Minimum viable.

515

:

Do it.

516

:

Do it exactly the same.

517

:

Um, is good.

518

:

Um, all right, so prepping content.

519

:

So how I prep the content, I could,

if, depending on what the topic was,

520

:

probably just put some bullet points on a

post-it note and stick it onto my screen.

521

:

However, because I wanted to feel

a little bit more comfortable

522

:

and 'cause I was really nervous.

523

:

Um, I wanted to have show notes to

follow so I didn't get off track.

524

:

I can get really rambly sometimes

and I, you know, can forget

525

:

and go down rabbit holes.

526

:

So I wanted to have like

some notes to follow.

527

:

So.

528

:

I do a brain dump into my friend,

my favorite current app chat.

529

:

GPT is not my friend.

530

:

I was being facetious.

531

:

Um, so I brain dump my ideas about

that topic into chat, GPT, and

532

:

then say, can you organize these

thoughts for me into talking points?

533

:

So, you know, it'll take the tangents,

it'll, you know, organize things together.

534

:

And then I'll have some bullet pointed

out, show notes that I can follow.

535

:

Um, that has been the most helpful

way that I've been able to do it.

536

:

If the notes are too long and I have

to read it, um, it's, I don't end up

537

:

always using them, so I try and keep it.

538

:

So the bullet points are short,

just like if you're presenting

539

:

slides, um, on a screen.

540

:

Like if, um, it's, I.

541

:

Too much information and you have to

actually sit there and read through it.

542

:

It's, it's distracting for the viewer,

I think, and it's also been a little bit

543

:

distracting for me, so I go through that.

544

:

I sometimes will go back and forth.

545

:

Sometimes I'll ask Chatt BT, Hey, is

there anything else that you can suggest?

546

:

To add to this, that would make it helpful

and it might give me some suggestions, and

547

:

I'll then go through the suggestions and

give my thoughts about the suggestions.

548

:

So I don't want it to be some chat

GPT thing, like I wanna just be able

549

:

to speak and in order to be able to

speak, it has to be something that

550

:

I have an opinion about or thoughts

about, not just reading it because.

551

:

Chat, GPT said I should read it, or

it's on slides or something like that.

552

:

Um, so you could just do some bullet

points on a notepad that you have.

553

:

I just find having it sort of

somewhere close to the camera is

554

:

easier than having to look down.

555

:

Like I feel like looking down like that

is a bit, you know, viewer distracting

556

:

rather than just like, you know, like

glancing over to notes, um, on the side.

557

:

Um, and scripting everything is

definitely not going to be helpful

558

:

for a live stream sometimes.

559

:

Um, chat, GBT has given me these

really helpful hooks to start.

560

:

I try to start with something,

you know, interesting to keep

561

:

people's, you know, attention.

562

:

Um, but if it's too long,

again, I won't read it.

563

:

It needs to be just a

sentence and I try to start.

564

:

And this is one of the things that I'm,

you know, hoping to improve and get

565

:

better on is starting with something kind

of really snappy and attention getting.

566

:

Like in the start I was like, Hey,

it's Sue and this is what I do

567

:

with and giving that introduction.

568

:

Um, but I'm trying to not worry so much

about that and, you know, just get to kind

569

:

of the point and go into it from there.

570

:

And okay.

571

:

Oh, look at that.

572

:

Here's my notes.

573

:

See, I've gone off on my ramble

and now I just got the bit

574

:

where I get to stream yard.

575

:

That was in my notes that I thought

maybe I forgot to put in and it

576

:

was just in a different order.

577

:

Anyway, that is the

downside of using the notes.

578

:

I will say one of the things that,

um, I would suggest, and I think I

579

:

will do going forward with this is

because I want to get the, the next

580

:

day stream scheduled before this one

starts, so that, um, you know, that's.

581

:

Locked in the bag.

582

:

I don't even know why.

583

:

Like I've just got it in my

head that I should do that.

584

:

Maybe that's the thing that helps me

stay accountable is that before the first

585

:

one starts, the next one is scheduled.

586

:

That's when I need to do my brain dump.

587

:

So I'm actually doing the brain

dump the day before the session,

588

:

and then I get the notes.

589

:

The day of.

590

:

So I think going forward what I'll do if I

keep doing the livestream is try and keep

591

:

the brain dump and the notes the same when

everything's a bit more fresh so that you

592

:

know, when I'm reading things, you know,

a I'll need to rely less on the notes.

593

:

And B, if something like this happens

where things are a little bit out of

594

:

the order that I would've expected

them to be in, um, then, you know, I'm

595

:

not gonna be having to scroll through

the notes going, where am I up to?

596

:

I did wanna say something about, um,

if you do commit to doing some kind of

597

:

challenge where you are needing to be

consistent with it, pushing through low

598

:

energy days I think is really important.

599

:

Um, teaching yourself that muscle that you

can be consistent and something doesn't

600

:

need to be at your 100%, that's still

okay, but you know, being okay with.

601

:

Publishing, like, you know,

B minus work or even C work.

602

:

So for me, and this is completely up to

you and, and how you want to work, but

603

:

I found that I just got so much value

and I have so much more confidence in

604

:

myself just being consistent and even if.

605

:

Things didn't go as planned.

606

:

And even if I didn't feel like that was my

best work, and I was like, you know what?

607

:

I did it like I did it.

608

:

I'm key.

609

:

I'm sticking to this, I'm seeing

it through all the way to the

610

:

end, and that was a really,

really valuable thing for me.

611

:

Um, so, so they're just showing it up.

612

:

Again, like I said before, like I

didn't wanna set the time because

613

:

if I did, that would've probably

stopped me from showing up.

614

:

I have absolutely no doubt about it.

615

:

Sometimes I've thought that I scheduled

the session for like nine 30 and

616

:

then I've got up and it's 10 30.

617

:

I'm like, yes, thank you past

Sue for making life easier.

618

:

Um, the earlier it is in the morning, I

found it a little bit harder to show up.

619

:

I prefer to do it, um, later in the day.

620

:

The time zone challenge is a

big thing and that's why there

621

:

isn't a lot of attendance.

622

:

'cause pretty much every one of these

sessions has been in the night or

623

:

even middle of the night for where

the majority of my audience is.

624

:

But because I didn't go into these

sessions with the goal to, you know,

625

:

I'm not thinking, I'm not doing a

launch or anything at the end of this,

626

:

I just wanted to get, you know, back

into the swing of, I just wanted to

627

:

start doing what I love again and, you

know, creating this kind of content.

628

:

And it has, you know, the, just

doing that has given me my spark back

629

:

doing things without having that.

630

:

Specific purpose and just having

a bit of fun with it again, has

631

:

been the purpose and the benefit.

632

:

So because I'm not stressing

about people turning up and being

633

:

there at a certain time, the time

hasn't been as much of an issue.

634

:

So worst case scenario, you know,

I think on one of the days I

635

:

pushed it back two hours 'cause

I was just really not feeling it.

636

:

But I still did it anyway.

637

:

The doing it anyway I think is

the most, um, important thing.

638

:

Um, I have had a couple of topics where

I've sort of had them where they were.

639

:

I'd say almost easier topics, but

interestingly, the ones that I thought

640

:

would be my easy topics ended up because

I realized I had so much to say about it,

641

:

ended up being some of the longer ones.

642

:

Um, but you can always do that, like have

a little list of things where, you know,

643

:

if it was a, you know, really bad day and

you just weren't really feeling it, what

644

:

is something that you could do quickly?

645

:

Like, these are varied from I

think 15 minutes through to over

646

:

an hour was the longest one.

647

:

So what can you do to make

it easier for yourself?

648

:

What can you take out?

649

:

To make it so that you

actually get it done.

650

:

That would be my suggestion.

651

:

If you're finding it hard, you're

probably overcomplicating it in some way.

652

:

What's something less that you could do?

653

:

For example, I wanted to also, you

know, in my mission for repurposing the

654

:

content was turn these into blog posts.

655

:

I have not been able to do that.

656

:

That was just one extra thing.

657

:

Like even just doing the

podcast was probably a stretch.

658

:

I'm glad that I did it, but that was,

you know, possibly, you know, if I,

659

:

if I did something like this again,

I would just do the thing and worry

660

:

about the repurposing afterwards

because of, you know, current capacity.

661

:

Like, I'm still sort of recovering

from illness to a degree, but

662

:

that is, you know, up to you like.

663

:

What can you take out to make it so

that you'll actually achieve the thing?

664

:

Because, um, maybe it is that

you are doing too much prep.

665

:

Maybe instead of, you know, prepping

and doing the notes into chat GBT and

666

:

getting, you know, all of that, you're

like, you know what, I'll just chuck

667

:

a post-it note up with three points.

668

:

Bam, let's go.

669

:

If that makes it easier and that will

make you, you know, actually do it,

670

:

then that can be a good way to go.

671

:

Um.

672

:

I've got some little rituals

that help me feel better.

673

:

Um, and this is, I, I don't know

if it's a generational thing.

674

:

I just can't show up on camera

with my messy pajama hair.

675

:

Like I just can't do it

and I have curly hair.

676

:

So that's one of the reasons why the

morning ones are really challenging

677

:

because I have to wet my hair slash have

a shower in the morning so that it looks.

678

:

Nice and curly and not messy and a

frizzy whatever, you know, again,

679

:

maybe that is my own mindset

gremlins, and I know that people do

680

:

just show up live in whatever form.

681

:

I'm not there yet.

682

:

Maybe that'll come in future,

but at the moment I would like

683

:

to show up a little bit polished.

684

:

So I do my hair, I put makeup on, um,

and you know, because that helps me,

685

:

that helps me feel confident if that

isn't a big deal for you, no worries.

686

:

One of the things I do as well is I do

a little spray of my favorite perfume.

687

:

'cause it makes me feel good, makes me

feel confident, and it's then I feel

688

:

like I'm associating that happy smell

with something that feels good and happy.

689

:

I 100% now will always keep

a glass of water on hand,

690

:

especially after my coughing fit.

691

:

'cause that was a bit of a challenge.

692

:

So, um, so keep some water handy and

maybe, you know, have a little like.

693

:

Pre go live ritual.

694

:

Something you can do to to pump

yourself up or calm yourself

695

:

down, whichever you need.

696

:

Just be like, all right, I got this.

697

:

I can do it.

698

:

And just know that the more that

you do it, it will 100% get easier.

699

:

I remember when I did my very

first webinar, it was pre covid.

700

:

I.

701

:

Just about had a anxiety meltdown.

702

:

Like I was so scared.

703

:

You would think being someone who's

been in broadcasting for years and

704

:

years and years would not get scared.

705

:

But no, there's something

about the camera.

706

:

It just does things with my head.

707

:

I prepped for hours.

708

:

I was like doing um, meditations, trying

to calm myself down and even still.

709

:

I was so nervous, I

completely freaked out.

710

:

However, I did that

webinar again and again.

711

:

I think I did it like

six times over six weeks.

712

:

I think I was doing it weekly.

713

:

By the sixth time I was

like, yeah, we're fine.

714

:

Like let's go.

715

:

Because everything was more familiar.

716

:

When you do things for the first time,

it is gonna be as scary as hell, and

717

:

that's okay because it's not gonna

stop being scary until you just.

718

:

Do it and you, you know, deal with those

first few times being rough and each time

719

:

you do it, you'll learn one little thing.

720

:

You get that 1% better or you know,

you'll, you'll feel more confident

721

:

with the software, with the tech,

with the, just doing the thing, maybe

722

:

reading notes and going through.

723

:

It's all gonna layer on and

that's why doing things again

724

:

and again and again is so useful.

725

:

Um, okay.

726

:

So audience engagement without stressing

about it, that is one of the things that

727

:

I'm still learning and getting better

at because I can see comments, then I

728

:

kind of feel like, oh, there's a comment

and I wanna stop and, and read it.

729

:

And that can be distracting in the middle.

730

:

So I try to, if at all possible, even if

I see comments come up, stop when I can.

731

:

Cope with it.

732

:

You know, some presenters will

be like, oh yeah, blah, blah.

733

:

Blah's in the chat.

734

:

Yeah, and they'll just keep going.

735

:

I find that a little bit disrupting,

and maybe that's just a, I need to

736

:

do a live stream one day where I

encourage comments and I get used

737

:

to how to actually do that and read

the comments and respond while live.

738

:

Maybe just do a little sneaky glasses in.

739

:

Competitor speed reading, I'm not sure.

740

:

Um, but what I would suggest

though is don't worry necessarily.

741

:

If you do miss comments, you can

always come back to them afterwards.

742

:

You can always check in on the

comments in the end on stream.

743

:

Now the comments are actually in

a different tab to where these

744

:

banners, so I've got these banners

that I can bring up on screen.

745

:

They're in a different place.

746

:

And then, so you've gotta click around.

747

:

So it means I've gotta look at the

screen, which I try not to 'cause

748

:

I'm trying to look at the camera.

749

:

Um.

750

:

But I have got better at it.

751

:

And you know, one of the things that

I want to improve on is like learning

752

:

short keys or maybe even using a

stream deck or something so I can just

753

:

press a button, which will help move

things around and make stuff happen.

754

:

Um, but.

755

:

Um, even if you don't have a

heap of comments, don't stress.

756

:

Like I said, the replay is where I'm

getting the most of the value from these

757

:

sessions because the time zones when I'm

running them suit me, not the viewers.

758

:

'cause that's what I needed

to do to make it happen.

759

:

Um, and you can always come back

and reply to comments afterwards.

760

:

One thing though for Stream Yard, which

was a little bit frustrating, is that the

761

:

live comments don't always stick to the

video in, I think it's YouTube, Facebook.

762

:

They do.

763

:

Um, and I'm not sure about LinkedIn

either, because I know that there was

764

:

one day where I was like, comment,

if you want the free resource that

765

:

I was doing, and then I went to.

766

:

Send it.

767

:

And I was like, oh, oh, oh.

768

:

I know there was like at least

three people that said yes please.

769

:

And then I couldn't find the comments

to be able to send it to them.

770

:

Um, so that's just one little challenge.

771

:

But, um, for the most part you can do cool

things in stream yard and I won't do it

772

:

'cause Stacey's left to comment for me.

773

:

But you can actually put people's

comments up on stream, which is cool.

774

:

Again, you know, that's.

775

:

Extra level of stuff that I will

start to bring in as I get more

776

:

comfortable with streaming in general,

and then try and make these shows a

777

:

little bit more visually interesting

and interactive skills gotta build.

778

:

Um.

779

:

And the thing that has been the most

beneficial and powerful, apart from all

780

:

the mindset stuff, like my mindset has

just completely changed since the start.

781

:

I feel like it's almost weird saying it

like, um, like, you know, it, it really

782

:

does feel like I've had a transformation

in energy, in, um, passion for my

783

:

business in loving what I am doing.

784

:

Um, in no longer, you know.

785

:

Feeling like video anxiety is

this enemy that I have to slay.

786

:

I am just like, no, it's just there.

787

:

It's always gonna be there.

788

:

That's cool.

789

:

We're friends now.

790

:

Um, so that side of it has been amazing,

but what has been really, really helpful

791

:

from a business perspective is the

power of repurposing the content that

792

:

I've made through these livestreams.

793

:

I think livestreams where I'm just talking

like this, are probably a little bit

794

:

hard to sit down and watch for hours.

795

:

You know, to watch hours of that

kind of content, there's not

796

:

a lot happening on the screen.

797

:

There's a reason why YouTube videos

and, you know, TV and films have lots of

798

:

cuts and go between, you know, different

styles of footage, blah, blah, blah.

799

:

Um, it's harder to do that on a live

stream, but do you know what is not hard

800

:

to do, to take the livestream content

and turn it into other awesome things?

801

:

So as well as the full live stream

being able to live on in YouTube.

802

:

It can also live on as a blog post.

803

:

I can take the transcript

from the live stream.

804

:

I can pull it out, I can put

it into chat DPT and use that

805

:

transcript to help write a blog post.

806

:

Pretty much in my words,

because I've said the words.

807

:

It's organizing, you know, 30 minutes,

I'm up to 40 minutes now of content.

808

:

It's organizing that.

809

:

Into something that is a non ramly

blog post, which is incredible.

810

:

Um, I will then be able to cut out

clips from these, uh, recordings.

811

:

Some videos I'll get more than others,

but there's short form content I have

812

:

not posted on social media forever.

813

:

I think I've done like two

posts on Instagram like a year.

814

:

But in the last week or so,

I've now got five reels up there

815

:

and they are getting views.

816

:

I have those shorts now on YouTube.

817

:

So I have created Shortform

video without actually having

818

:

to create short form video.

819

:

I'm able to use AI tools like script.

820

:

I'm also playing around with Opus, um, to

go through that video and pull out those.

821

:

Cool bits and then, you know,

give me the other content.

822

:

So after this, these 30 videos are

going to be a fantastic resource.

823

:

I've also done something with it that

I am so damn proud of and this is why

824

:

it's, we've probably been a little bit

of a stretch and, um, you know, I'm

825

:

gonna change the pace of this in future

and maybe do it weekly or fortnightly.

826

:

I have a podcast.

827

:

I'm an audio person.

828

:

I started my, you know, my first job

out of high school was working in radio.

829

:

I am someone who uses my voice.

830

:

I have fancy, expensive

microphones and all the bit,

831

:

but I have never done a podcast.

832

:

Something has stopped me

and I think it was all the

833

:

podcast learning, to be honest.

834

:

It was, I, I don't even

know how many podcasts.

835

:

Courses and, you know, playlist

for YouTube tutorials and

836

:

all the things that I've got.

837

:

And do you know what I just did?

838

:

I just did it, put it up.

839

:

I didn't refer to a single bit of it.

840

:

I just created the podcast,

stripped the audio.

841

:

Voila.

842

:

Now I have a podcast.

843

:

I use chat t to do the show

notes from the transcript.

844

:

Um, I linked to the YouTube video.

845

:

I'm sure there are better things that

I can do, and I'm sure that over time

846

:

as I do more with it, I'll probably

learn more, do better, et cetera.

847

:

But now I have had a way for over a

hundred people to connect via their ears.

848

:

These sessions, these live sessions

are perfect for podcast format.

849

:

Um, I love podcasts myself and um.

850

:

Now I have one.

851

:

So hoorah, Gobi, um, repurposing.

852

:

It's able to take that one

piece of content and make it so

853

:

much more useful and versatile.

854

:

There is a heap of people that would

probably never be able to want to feel

855

:

inclined to sit down and listen to

half an hour or 40 minute chats about

856

:

creator economy, you know, working

as a digital product creator courses.

857

:

Thoughts on launching perfectionism,

all the things that I've been

858

:

talking about, but they could be

really happy to listen on a podcast.

859

:

And they are.

860

:

And, um, yeah, I think it's,

um, repurposing is one of the

861

:

great things about livestream.

862

:

That's, that's the end of my, my talk.

863

:

If you have questions about

livestreaming though, please let me know.

864

:

I'm certainly not a live streaming expert.

865

:

I'm just sharing the things that I've

learned out of pushing myself out

866

:

of the comfort zone, doing something

different and stretching myself and.

867

:

Damn.

868

:

I feel good that I have done it.

869

:

I feel so proud that I'm gonna

get to 30 days of live streaming.

870

:

My goal, I'm gonna hit it.

871

:

This is day 27, so I've

got three more to go.

872

:

Um, and I hope it's been really

useful and helpful for you as well.

873

:

Um.

874

:

I was being completely selfish with this.

875

:

I didn't do it with some goal.

876

:

I did it to help myself and hopefully

it's helped you in the process as well.

877

:

Um, and hopefully I'm gonna be able

to figure out a way to continue

878

:

doing it in some form going forward.

879

:

Um.

880

:

Tomorrow though, I'm gonna be back

talking about what to do if I hate

881

:

social media and still want to sell.

882

:

Um, I am not a fan of social media.

883

:

All the apps have gone from my phone.

884

:

I try to avoid it if possible.

885

:

However, there are some ways

that you can make sure that you.

886

:

Firstly still selling in your

business, even if you're not selling

887

:

via social media and maybe some

things that you could do in social

888

:

media to make it feel less crappy.

889

:

Um, because yeah, I think

social media used to be good.

890

:

I started way back in

the heyday of, um, I.

891

:

Oh my gosh, I'm aging myself now, but

back when, you know, I had a business

892

:

page and we could put a post on and

we'd suddenly get 500 likes and watch,

893

:

you know, Google traffic tick up

on the backend and sales coming in.

894

:

It is no longer like that.

895

:

It is really hard and sometimes

because it feels really hard,

896

:

that is the reason why we hate it.

897

:

So I'm gonna be talking all about that.

898

:

I won't start rambling about it now,

but you know, content can be fun.

899

:

You can do it in nice ways.

900

:

So join me tomorrow.

901

:

This is what I do.

902

:

If you can register for the last couple

of notifications of when I am starting

903

:

these live, if you like, at The Unicorn

Advisory dot com slash this, I have got

904

:

resources there as well and I probably

didn't talk so much about the technical

905

:

aspect of it, but, um, you know.

906

:

The idea is to just pick something

that's gonna let you start.

907

:

I got the idea one day.

908

:

I started the next day, and that

has been the thing that reminded me.

909

:

We don't need to know all the

things we can learn by doing and

910

:

just get enough to get started

and then go have a beautiful day.

911

:

See you tomorrow.
