As part of the Duke's Day Weekend , January 8-10 at Freshwater, NSW, filmmaker Jemma Pigott speaks about the life of Duke Kahanamoku, his friendship with Australian Olympian and WW1 Digger Cecil Healy and her film, in honour of the legendary surfing icon, Olympian, sheriff, swimmer, lifesaver and descendant of Hawaiian royalty, screening at the Harbord Diggers Club, January 9.
