Non-Toxic Gift Ideas for Everyone on Your List

Yasmine: [:

Either way, I think it can be kind of tricky to know what to give, what's truly non toxic and what might be appreciated. I've got you covered. I have non toxic gift ideas for everybody on your list. Here we go. Non toxic gift giving is such a thoughtful, thoughtful way to approach gift giving and the holidays.

y proud of you in, in either [:

So what exactly are non toxic gifts and why are they important? Well, non toxic gifts really span kind of the gamut of anything that is considered healthier for the person and for the environment. Things that are made well, things that improve someone's home or their life in a, um, in a healthy way, or things that just don't necessarily go out and harm our environment, right?

Which hurts all of us. So, um, I also think it's important to note that more and more people are moving toward kind of minimalistic living, um, sustainable and mindful living. So even if the person on your list isn't necessarily into non toxic, um, living, you can still really strike a chord with them by buying something thoughtful, um, and, you know, just.

necessarily, you know, mass [:

Okay. So with all of that said, let's jump in. I am so excited to share these gift ideas with you because literally, like I said. I have, I think everybody on your list covered. So number one, let's start with babies and children. Now I have done a ton of content on baby products on gift ideas for children.

And so this is just something I'm super, super passionate about. I think that there are so many options available for gifting, um, clean non toxic products to babies and young kids. So first on the list is, um, wooden toys. I love wooden toys. Find wooden toys that are made with natural finishes. Things that are made from free from harmful chemicals.

. They make a great gift and [:

Stuffed animals. You can also give organic Children's clothing that is often really well received. And that is another really thoughtful thing to give. You can also give creative gifts like beeswax crayons, natural clay, child safe finger paints. If you are looking for a big gift, a peak or triangle or, you know, climbing equipment could be really well received.

now, just kind of a big gift [:

Triangle would probably be the first thing I would get. Another option is a little terrarium where they can grow their own plants and watch them grow in glass or plastic. Super, super cool. I've got that linked on my non toy gift guide because Really, It's one of those toys I accidentally came across for my own kids and they fell in love with it.

So I highly recommend a terrarium. Um, another thing is to consider active items like bikes, scooters, and go karts. And those are not necessarily non toxic. There are a couple options in those categories, but truly they're just great gifts. So, um, I had to throw them in there even though they're not technically non toxic.

. com. Another gift idea for [:

There are so many different options out there, but my two favorites are Kiwi Co, um, stem boxes, like building toys and things like that. And then the love every toy sets. Um, they just make great gifts and it's really nice because your children start to look forward to these in the, in the coming in the mail every month.

Super, super fun. Okay. And now that brings us to number two, which is the gifts for the beauty and self care enthusiast. So what do you get for someone who is really into self improvement, self care, um, beauty, and just kind of overall, like, passionate about these kinds of products? Here's what you do. Um, Gift natural skincare and makeup products made with natural and organic ingredients like tallow, things that are talc free, things that use cleaner products.

Um, I love [:

But I cannot say clean beauty literally without mentioning these brands. So let me just list them off really quickly. Number one is primally pure, their skincare, their facial care, their body care is absolutely amazing. And they make great gifts. Number two is Ali Tora. They have the most amazing moisturizer and some of the most amazing products that I've ever seen.

They come in beautiful black glass bottles. They make great gifts. Um, I also love, um, as far as makeup goes, I love a Raza. Crunchy tubes and Co. Tubes and Co. Also has great skin care. And then there's also Beauty counter. Beauty counter has a ton of great gift sets for the holidays and just in general, their products are made.

olish in various colors. Um, [:

Just give something that is like, you know, 5 free, 7 free, 8 free, even 10 free, um, meaning that it's free of the most common chemicals. Um, go, go that route. Another one is okay. This is a really good suggestion. So essential and essential oil diffuser with a set of organic essential oils. My favorite favorite diffuser is the aroma.

True. It's a waterless diffuser does not use water, so I don't have to feel stressed out about cleaning it. I actually have one on my desk here right now. It works amazing. And the company also makes organic essential oils that plug right into the unit. It is absolutely fantastic. Um, another gift idea is to give her a gorgeous robe from a brand like Koichi.

time I've said that out loud [:

It is a fantastic gift and it's usually about like wonderful price point that still makes it very thoughtful. Okay. Now, if you are a big spender, you might want to get her an infrared sauna or a portable sauna. These make amazing gifts. Um, I'm a big fan of the clear light saunas. If you are looking to go all out and put in a sauna into your home.

buying for your home, um, a [:

Um, other gift ideas include eco friendly kitchenware like bamboo cutting boards or wooden cutting boards, utensils. Um, cookware for the home. Get something that's made from stainless steel or cast iron. I also love the idea of gifting organic cotton bedding and towels. Those are great pieces to invest in.

And for some of us, that's not something we would necessarily buy for ourselves. And that's kind of what makes a great gift, right? Is when you give someone something that they might not buy for themselves, it just gets really thoughtful. Um, beeswax candles are another great gift. I actually always have my own beeswax candles here on my desk.

t code. I'll put that in the [:

You honestly can't go wrong in this category. There's so much to shop for, to be honest. Um, okay. And then next is gifts for the tech savvy guy or gal in your life. Um, there's not so so much in this in this category, I would say, but My biggest piece of advice is to avoid any Bluetooth wearable devices and instead give wired earbuds, wired electronics and accessories.

Um, it's just not, not safe, [:

There's another brand too. Um, I can't think of their name, but there's a couple good solar powered generator brands. If you're, if you're into like prepping or if he's into prepping or something like that, this could be a really great gift as well. Um, and you might just also want to look at like more well made tech products that contain minimal plastic like a silicone phone case instead of something made with plastic.

Next is gifts for the nontoxic mom. Now, I truly think that the nontoxic mom could appreciate almost anything on this list, especially Especially the things that I mentioned in the beauty lovers and the home categories. But here are a couple other ideas that I thought she might enjoy. Um, one is glass coffee mugs.

I love anchor Hawking [:

Who doesn't want a spa day or a massage? When I do go to the spa, I do take some of my own products. Um, like for example, when I get a massage, I walk in and I say, here's my massage oil. Can you please use it? I'm sensitive to, you know, fragrance and stuff like that. And I never have any problems with that.

So a spa day, do not rule that out. It can work for the non toxic mom. Okay, um, and then for the fashion forward guy or gal, um, you can get clothing from brands that make clothing with cleaner materials, organic clothing, things like, um, Pact. Pact is a great, great, great store to shop for gift giving. Um, I think that you can't go wrong with.

Their leggings and [:

Um, you honestly can't go wrong giving jewelry and, um, a gift card is also. Always a great idea. Like if you know that they're into a certain brand, maybe their clothing isn't always non toxic. I know mine isn't. Um, so you can always do like a Nordstrom gift card or a packed gift card. And then finally for the foodies in your life, um, this is really where it gets good.

sent me, you know, grass fed [:

I would totally appreciate that. And then finally, non toxic cookware, um, stainless steel or cast iron pots and pans, a nice. Pour over coffee maker or French press would also make a great gift. These are non-toxic gift items that you can give to almost anybody in your life. Um, you can also do DIY things.

That's something I didn't really cover here, but if you are gifting things to your neighbors or your coworkers, something thoughtful and handmade is always well appreciated. So I just wanted to say thank you for joining me in this little journey to thoughtful gift giving, especially around the holidays, which is when I'm recording this episode.

I think that we can all just get caught up in the hustle and bustle of like, bye, bye, bye, bye, bye. And there's so many sales and so many things calling out to us. I love it when I take the time and do things thoughtfully. And I think that choosing something thoughtful like this is kind of a way of slowing things down.

hat? I'm going to make smart [:

I'm going to be voting with my dollars. I'm going to be voting with my wallet and spending my money on things. I'm That I believe in. So I totally appreciate you doing this along with me. And I hope you have a wonderful, wonderful holiday season. Again, if you're listening to this at the holidays or just a non toxic, um, birthday or gifting event, I hope you have a great time and I will see you over on the next one until then.
