Speaker:

Hey everybody.

2

:

Welcome back to Tuesday's edition

of the Daily Bible Podcast.

3

:

Hello.

4

:

And by the way, if you're

wondering, where is Pastor Mark?

5

:

Remember Pastor Mark

is, why is he not here?

6

:

He's joining us Tuesdays and Thursdays

for recording as he's in office with us.

7

:

But then Saturdays, which is when

we do these three episodes he is

8

:

not in on Saturday with us, so he

may occasionally jump in with us.

9

:

But if you're going, where's Pastor Mark?

10

:

He'll be back.

11

:

Don't worry.

12

:

We've heard the masses, we've heard.

13

:

Uproarious ERVs Applause

that people love Pastor Mark.

14

:

Yeah, I heard good things.

15

:

I recently, I was talking to some people

and they're like, I like Pastor Mark.

16

:

He's a great addition.

17

:

Yeah.

18

:

And my wife said, he's got insights

that you and Pastor PJ never talk about.

19

:

He's so much smarter than you.

20

:

And I like him way better.

21

:

And I'm just kidding.

22

:

But she did compliment him quite a bit,

saying he has insightful things to say

23

:

and I thought, yeah I like him too.

24

:

I just find him, he's a lot more fun.

25

:

A third party.

26

:

Sure.

27

:

When it's two against one even better.

28

:

Yeah.

29

:

That's when I love that we

get to do fun things together.

30

:

We get to laugh.

31

:

It's enjoyable.

32

:

Well, pastor Mark wanted

to do Saturday with us.

33

:

We're not gonna say no, no, we're

gonna say bring it, but if he

34

:

doesn't and he wants to be with

his family, then okay, fine.

35

:

Yeah.

36

:

Draw the lines where you will, buddy.

37

:

Yeah.

38

:

My mom listens to our podcast.

39

:

She likes his contributions, so.

40

:

Oh yeah.

41

:

Yeah.

42

:

He's fun.

43

:

I like him too.

44

:

Anyways, we're gonna keep 'em around.

45

:

We are gonna keep 'em around.

46

:

Hey, don't forget, we've

got extravaganza coming up.

47

:

That's part of our Easter outreach.

48

:

So if you've got candy that you can bring

to the church or even swing by the church

49

:

offices, I know it would be appreciated.

50

:

We're going for 9,000 eggs this year.

51

:

Wow.

52

:

That's a lot of eggs.

53

:

That's a ton of eggs.

54

:

Well, we want eggs and candy.

55

:

In the eggs?

56

:

Yes.

57

:

If I'm not mistaken.

58

:

Yes.

59

:

And by the way, chocolate's the way to go.

60

:

Lemme just tell you

it's gonna melt easier.

61

:

Yes.

62

:

So hopefully it's not a really hot

day, but chocolate is so much better,

63

:

by the way, I didn't tell you this.

64

:

Okay.

65

:

All right.

66

:

I'm telling you something for

the first time, breaking news.

67

:

Well, we Okay.

68

:

On a whim?

69

:

Yes.

70

:

We're watching this random

YouTube video, okay.

71

:

About this company that makes

Turkish delights in Turkey.

72

:

It's Istanbul.

73

:

Okay.

74

:

Do you know this company?

75

:

No, I guess they're very famous.

76

:

Okay.

77

:

They're very popular.

78

:

They have a location in

London, Istanbul and Frisco.

79

:

Maybe, hold on.

80

:

I don't think it's in the States yet.

81

:

There's another location that's a big

location anyway the, it's called Hafi.

82

:

Mustafa.

83

:

Okay.

84

:

And they make these circus delights

and Christian and the kids got

85

:

some from some local shop because

of Edmond from the line Yeah.

86

:

Chronicles the morning, right?

87

:

He sold his brothers and sisters

in, or his sister and brothers.

88

:

Sisters.

89

:

Sisters and brother.

90

:

Yes.

91

:

Anyway, he sold his siblings in for some

Turkish delights, so I thought, how fun.

92

:

I bet these are tasty.

93

:

So I ordered them from Istanbul.

94

:

That's intense man.

95

:

They came from Istanbul,

so I ordered some.

96

:

They came within three

days, which I was shocked.

97

:

You order something from Istanbul,

Turkey and it came within three days.

98

:

Days.

99

:

I could not believe it.

100

:

I could not believe it.

101

:

Anyway, we got this box of Turkish

delights and I must say I'm a fan.

102

:

What flavor?

103

:

There's some, I'm looking Variety.

104

:

Variety pack.

105

:

Okay.

106

:

Because I don't know what to get.

107

:

Like, I dunno what they taste like.

108

:

I had no idea.

109

:

I don't even know what they're made of.

110

:

There's rose flavored Turkish to delight.

111

:

I think I tried it.

112

:

I'm not sure.

113

:

Ah, I did not know.

114

:

I just got it.

115

:

I thought, this will be fun.

116

:

It'll be fun for the kids.

117

:

And it's from Turkey, which I

told the kids, which makes sense.

118

:

Bible Land.

119

:

This is where people, this is where

some of the first churches were planted.

120

:

Yeah.

121

:

In Turkey.

122

:

Yeah.

123

:

Macedonia.

124

:

So I thought it was really, it

would be really cool regardless,

125

:

even if I didn't like them.

126

:

But I, it turns out I really enjoy them.

127

:

Hafi, Mustafa, Turkish Delights.

128

:

I recommend you try them.

129

:

I'm on Grand Turkish bazaar right

now, so, I don't really know

130

:

anything about that, but it makes

sense that they're made in Turkey.

131

:

'cause otherwise it's false advertising.

132

:

These say traditionally

handmade in instant Bowl Turkey.

133

:

Yeah, absolutely.

134

:

Best delight.

135

:

You can try.

136

:

I mean, I took them at their work again.

137

:

I watched a YouTube video Yeah.

138

:

Of their whole production

process and their expansion,

139

:

and I was like, you know what?

140

:

I'm gonna do this.

141

:

So I liked it.

142

:

This says the order will be sent as

vacuumed, which, you know, it's a

143

:

good site because there are words that

are capitalized in the text here that

144

:

shouldn't be capitalized, but they are.

145

:

I see.

146

:

I would I ordered directly

from ha's Mustafa.

147

:

Okay, well this guy, I don't

know anything about it.

148

:

I'm gonna send, wait.

149

:

No, I see.

150

:

It says, ha's Mustafa on here?

151

:

Brand.

152

:

Brand.

153

:

That's brand.

154

:

One of the brands that you can brand.

155

:

Brand from the Grand Turkish bazaar.

156

:

You should go Huff's.

157

:

Mustafa.

158

:

At least there's for the fun of it.

159

:

Okay.

160

:

You guys could read Lion Witch in

the wardrobe, order some of these

161

:

Turkish delights and try them and

see if you're, if they're worth

162

:

you trading your family in for.

163

:

So it, they weren't Turkish delights,

but back when we were in California,

164

:

I used to go do a men's Bible

study with a group of Armenian.

165

:

Guys that were there.

166

:

Oh, and they did street

tacos, I'm guessing.

167

:

And you loved them?

168

:

No, because I know you love street tacos.

169

:

No, but one of the guys, his wife would

cook and she would make the best food.

170

:

It was amazing.

171

:

Mm-hmm.

172

:

And so I know we have some

Armenian people in our church.

173

:

Mm.

174

:

I'm just saying if you've got

some grandmas want to street

175

:

tacos and make dinner, I would

gladly accept the invitation.

176

:

Yeah.

177

:

Okay.

178

:

So I'm feeling a bit weird now because

you're super amenable to Armenian

179

:

food, but when Mexicans make you

food, you're like, that's all right.

180

:

Not Armenian food.

181

:

Didn't, we're not talking

free will food, Armenian food.

182

:

We're talking to people.

183

:

Not the theology was soft.

184

:

It was, well, who knows?

185

:

Are they Armenians who are making

Armenians, making Armenian food?

186

:

Have you asked them?

187

:

We don't know if they were, it would

be because of God's sovereignly

188

:

allowing them to make their food.

189

:

Well, I'm gonna pray that God would

sovereignly make you enjoy street tacos.

190

:

Okay, well, let's get into our Daily

Bible podcast, but Hafi, Mustafa, Mustafa.

191

:

Which means lion in Turkish, I believe.

192

:

I think that's Musa.

193

:

Mufasa is that Lion King?

194

:

That's what it is.

195

:

Mufasa.

196

:

And that's not, I saw an X.

197

:

There were these guys who

were singing like, ah, yeah,

198

:

the guy that translated it.

199

:

Yeah.

200

:

He said, look, it is a lion.

201

:

Yes, I saw that too.

202

:

That's all this whole time.

203

:

For years I've been singing

that and I had no idea.

204

:

Yeah.

205

:

And with the translation is actually

worse 'cause I'm taking out the OMG part.

206

:

Yeah.

207

:

That they say, look, it's a lion.

208

:

Yes.

209

:

Yeah.

210

:

Sorry.

211

:

Crazy if you know what

we're talking about.

212

:

That's the translation of the Lion King

at the beginning opening scene where

213

:

that person is singing in the background.

214

:

But that's crazy that Mufasa

makes Turkish delight too.

215

:

So, yeah, and James Earl Jones, I

don't know if he gets a kickback

216

:

from this, but his family would

appreciate if you buy them.

217

:

Didn't he die recently?

218

:

I don't think it's recent.

219

:

I think in the last 10 years.

220

:

Okay.

221

:

Well, but he's no longer with us.

222

:

He is no longer with us.

223

:

That's correct.

224

:

Yeah.

225

:

Alright, well, hey, Deuteronomy,

chapter 11 through 13, Deuteronomy

226

:

11 gets into talking about the land

that the Lord your God is giving you.

227

:

The land is the repeated focus here

of Moses' words in this chapter, and

228

:

there are reminders about the blessings

which are gonna come from obedience and

229

:

the curses which flow from rebellion.

230

:

We're gonna get into a lot

of that in Deuteronomy 28.

231

:

But we see some of it here and what

I've started to do this time running

232

:

through is circling when I see an if.

233

:

Then formula in the law, because

there's a lot of those where God's gonna

234

:

say, if you obey, if you're careful,

then I'm gonna do this to bless you.

235

:

But if you disobey, then

you need to know this.

236

:

And so as we read Deuteronomy,

one of the things that we should

237

:

understand is when Israel.

238

:

Is going to rebel against God.

239

:

They cannot plead ignorance.

240

:

They cannot say, wait a minute.

241

:

We didn't know that it

was going to involve this.

242

:

We didn't know that we were

gonna have to suffer this much.

243

:

And I think there's a correlation there

for us in the New Testament as well.

244

:

I don't think anybody who's

exposed to the truth of God's word.

245

:

Can say at the end of the day,

wait a minute, we didn't know that

246

:

there wasn't gonna be a second

chance for us after we died.

247

:

And that's one of the reasons why

Jesus even says to the one that's

248

:

given much, much is gonna be required.

249

:

And those that have been

exposed to the word of God have

250

:

already been given so much.

251

:

When we think of the wisdom, the

truth, the knowledge that we have

252

:

here, and we need to pay attention

when it says if this, then this.

253

:

Right?

254

:

And part of that is if you love the

Lord, then you will do what he says.

255

:

11 one says, you shall therefore

love the Lord your God.

256

:

And keep his charge, his statutes, his

rules, and his commandments always.

257

:

We've seen this now several times over,

and he's not done saying this, but it's

258

:

important that you see Moses repeating

this these, I don't know, four or five

259

:

sermons that we read about in Deuteronomy,

is Moses trying to marshal everything

260

:

he can to influence the people of Israel

to give their full and their all to

261

:

the Lord, to the point where you're

saying, look, if you guys do good.

262

:

Good things happen.

263

:

Yeah.

264

:

This is how life works.

265

:

And if you rebel, then bad

things are gonna happen.

266

:

And so he says verse eight, you

shall therefore keep the whole

267

:

commandments everything that God says.

268

:

Now, don't go to the left.

269

:

Don't go to the right.

270

:

Stay faithful and focus on what

God says, and you can't go wrong.

271

:

Now that requires him to work at it

and that, that's why he says here.

272

:

You shall lay up these

words of mind in verse 18.

273

:

You shall you'll put them in your

heart and you shall bind them.

274

:

He is doing everything you can possible

to make sure that you are tethered to

275

:

the word of God all day and all night.

276

:

And in no generation is it easier

and harder to do that than today.

277

:

Easier because you have so many options.

278

:

Harder because you're so bombarded

by so many different, fun, exciting,

279

:

dopamine inducing distractions.

280

:

In fact verses what is that?

281

:

18 down through 18 through 21.

282

:

It's essentially the Shama repeated

again here from chapter six.

283

:

Right.

284

:

Alright, dear Army 12, then this this

chapter is gonna lay out the plans

285

:

for a centralized place of worship.

286

:

So when they get into the promised

Land, it's not just gonna be, Hey

287

:

everyone, worship wherever you want,

but God is gonna say, I'm gonna

288

:

put my name in a specific place

and that's gonna change eventually.

289

:

Obviously we know today

that that is Jerusalem.

290

:

It's going to move there eventually,

but it's going to be in a couple of

291

:

different places before it gets there,

and that's where the tabernacle would be.

292

:

But no longer are sacrificing the

offerings gonna be permitted just

293

:

anywhere that the Israelites saw fit.

294

:

But instead, they were gonna have to

bring their offerings to the Lord out

295

:

a place that he was gonna designate

for these things to take place.

296

:

He was gonna say, this is

where you shall bring your

297

:

offerings, and yet he's gonna be.

298

:

He's going to conceive to some

and say if you can't make it,

299

:

if it's too far, it's okay.

300

:

Here's what you should do

instead in those situations.

301

:

Yeah.

302

:

Such an interesting, complex

combination of God's firmness and

303

:

saying this is the way it is, and

also his condescension to say.

304

:

But also if this were to happen,

here's another way to do these things.

305

:

Okay.

306

:

Let me go back.

307

:

We talked yesterday.

308

:

Was it yesterday, about the

destruction of the people?

309

:

Yes.

310

:

Okay.

311

:

One of the things that God is particularly

concerned about is that they not be

312

:

influenced to worship God the wrong way.

313

:

Which is why he says you can't

tolerate living with people like this.

314

:

And so he says in verse four, you shall

not worship the Lord your God in that

315

:

way, but you shall seek the right place.

316

:

And that's why in verse three, he

says, you shall tear down their altars

317

:

and dash in peace their pillars,

and burn their asim with fire.

318

:

He doesn't want them diluting

or compromising the pure

319

:

unadulterated worship of Yahweh.

320

:

Now, if I could just draw a quick

parallel, if you'll allow this.

321

:

We need to be as ruthless with our

little sins in the camp that they

322

:

were with sinners in their camp.

323

:

They were told it's dangerous for

you to let them live near you.

324

:

You can't have them close by unless

they entice you with their sin.

325

:

And the same thing is

true with our sin today.

326

:

It's not a person usually

it's just a practice.

327

:

There's And in your phone, I know, I

heard some people to, to your sermon.

328

:

They deleted their Instagram.

329

:

Yeah.

330

:

And I think, man I hope,

yeah, that's a great thing.

331

:

I hope we can take that same

mentality and apply that everywhere.

332

:

'cause it's more than Instagram, although

it's not a small player in the game.

333

:

There's so many areas where we

allow little sins to dwell with us.

334

:

Yeah.

335

:

And we tolerate them.

336

:

And I think the same mentality

of vigorous, even violent.

337

:

Work against our idols would do us a great

deal of service so that we might worship

338

:

the Lord in purity and unadulterated

love and affection, which goes back

339

:

to what we've been talking about in

one Peter, is our identity as exiles.

340

:

That sounds exhausting and if it sounds

exhausting to you, I think you get it.

341

:

And I often think of the older saints

that I've seen towards the end of

342

:

their lives who can't wait to be

done, who can't wait to go to heaven.

343

:

They're not.

344

:

Excited to leave their family, their loved

ones behind, but they don't fear death.

345

:

And part of the reason is because

they can't wait to be free from

346

:

the battle that it is here in our

flesh, to continually have to root

347

:

sin out in all of its influences

everywhere we find it in our lives.

348

:

And so I think when you see a seasoned

believer, an older saint who's nearing

349

:

the end of their life, that's one

of the reasons why they're so ready.

350

:

It's not just because they're physically

tired, they're also spiritually tired

351

:

of having to live here as exiles and

continually battle the temptations

352

:

that pull us towards the sinful

things all over the place here.

353

:

Chapter 13.

354

:

The word devotion is probably a word

that could sum up this chapter and

355

:

it's devotion in a couple senses.

356

:

Devotion to the Lord, but also devotion

of anything to your point that is

357

:

a threat to the purity of the Lord.

358

:

Devotion of those things to destruction.

359

:

And he talks about false prophets here.

360

:

He talks about testing them and what

to do with them and to give them no

361

:

quarter, but to put them to death.

362

:

This was not anything that was

to be entertained softly here.

363

:

And we still see.

364

:

False prophets today.

365

:

It's, we're not stoning anybody, but

maybe there, there should be more done

366

:

than is and there's a lot, I think we

talked about Mike Winger recently, but

367

:

Mike Winger has been doing a lot about

some of the Bethel Church movement as

368

:

well as IHOP and KC and some other people

where if you have a background in that or

369

:

you have family members that have gotten

wrapped up in that, I would encourage

370

:

you to check out winger's videos.

371

:

He's doing some pretty thorough

expose work on just the.

372

:

The insidious nature of the false

prophecy that's taking place today, even

373

:

in those churches and in those places.

374

:

Do you think it's possible that God can

still be doing good work in a ministry

375

:

like that even when the main leader

himself is compromised, that maybe the

376

:

founding person of a b, C ministry,

can God still be using those things

377

:

or should, or would you recommend

that someone just altogether distance

378

:

themselves from it, assuming that the Theo

I, I know the theology were different.

379

:

Yeah, yeah.

380

:

Assuming those things,

all things being equal.

381

:

All things being equal.

382

:

I think.

383

:

Especially because those movements some

of them are so large, it's like what

384

:

we're talking about with some of these

cities devoted to destruction, right?

385

:

It could there be genuine believers

in the midst of some of these churches

386

:

that are truly saved, that are truly

growing, even though this guy behind the

387

:

pulpit is a wolf in sheep's clothing.

388

:

I'd say probably the

exception to the rule.

389

:

Can I say assuredly that no, there's

not any good being done in their midst.

390

:

No, I don't think I

could argue that either.

391

:

I think there probably is some genuine

good being done there, some genuine

392

:

believers in those places because

of our theological differences.

393

:

I, if I had an opportunity, I would

say, Hey, I would love for you to.

394

:

Reconsider your positions

on some of these issues.

395

:

I think there's better

places for you to be.

396

:

But I can't say throw the baby out with

the bath water completely either, right?

397

:

And so it's important that you

do your due diligence that you,

398

:

as Moses says here, take care.

399

:

Take care.

400

:

Be careful that you're paying attention

to what's being taught and that you're

401

:

listening to the words that are.

402

:

That are being sent out from the

leadership, especially when it

403

:

comes to the teaching of the word.

404

:

Speaking of, let me just jump back

then to verses 12 through the end

405

:

of the chapter here in chapter 13.

406

:

I think this is important.

407

:

This is another difficult passage, but

it's one that I think you should see

408

:

we talked about yesterday, where God

sends them to destroy these peoples.

409

:

And here's what he says in chapter.

410

:

13 verses 12 through 14 18.

411

:

I'm gonna just summarize for you.

412

:

He says, basically, if there's a

city in your towns, in Israel where

413

:

they're following a false God, you

are to go make a diligent search.

414

:

You'll make a search and ask diligently.

415

:

And if it's true that that's happening,

you devote that town to destruction.

416

:

It doesn't make you feel

better in some sense, right?

417

:

But it should make you feel better.

418

:

That God is just, yeah, he's fair

in the way that, well, he's just

419

:

he executes justice consistently

and in his way and in his time.

420

:

Now, one thing I think we could say

here is that God operates with people.

421

:

In a gracious and compassionate

way, and I would trust that,

422

:

that's not gonna be untrue here.

423

:

I think he's gonna call, they're

gonna call them a repentance and

424

:

say, here guys, here's your shot.

425

:

Don't do this right?

426

:

Let us plead with you.

427

:

Turn the other way.

428

:

Turn to the living God and be healed.

429

:

I just, 'cause it doesn't

say that I can't say that.

430

:

I don't know that happened.

431

:

I think God would have given

them a chance if there was an

432

:

opportunity for repentance.

433

:

Yeah, I think so too.

434

:

And we see that we were talking offline

before this with Rahab, God gave,

435

:

there was at least an enough knowledge

that existed in Jericho, right.

436

:

Of who God is in the power.

437

:

That it got Torah rehab and

Rahab was like, Hey, wait a

438

:

second, I wanna fear the Lord.

439

:

What does this look like for

me to get out of this place?

440

:

And God honored that with her.

441

:

Right now.

442

:

We got Ruth the Moabite, right?

443

:

Who, whose mom was not the

best evangelist, but still

444

:

God used her and yeah.

445

:

And scripture says that the

Moabites were not allowed into the

446

:

assembly of the Lord up into the,

I think you said the 14 generation.

447

:

Yeah.

448

:

So clearly we have to put pieces together.

449

:

And make sense of texts that

it seems like, oh man, that's

450

:

a clear statement of scripture.

451

:

Don't, no Moabites allowed

in the congregation?

452

:

Well, clearly there was a carve

out for those who repented

453

:

and turned from their sins.

454

:

Yeah.

455

:

Allah, Ruth.

456

:

Yeah.

457

:

Let's go to March chapter 13.

458

:

March, chapter 13 is our New Testament

reading verses one through 13.

459

:

And so it starts with

Jesus, with his disciples.

460

:

It comes out of the temple.

461

:

And so again, during this passion week,

he's leaving the temple, going into

462

:

the temple, coming outta the temple.

463

:

And as they leave, one of

the disciples points out how

464

:

beautiful the temple is to Jesus.

465

:

And Jesus makes a statement.

466

:

He says, do you see these great buildings?

467

:

There will not be left here, one stone

upon another that will not be thrown down.

468

:

Now that is, I believe, a reference

to the destruction of the temple

469

:

that's gonna take place under Titus.

470

:

Vespasian and the Romans in 70

ad this is also in the shadow

471

:

though of Jesus, the true temple

being marching towards the cross.

472

:

And so the destruction of the earthly

temple, there's gonna be destruction

473

:

of the temple of Christ, and he's

gonna rebuild it in three days.

474

:

Well, we see that elsewhere in the

gospels, and he's referring to his

475

:

body here, but I think this is, he's

looking at the temple saying, don't

476

:

be so impressed with these things.

477

:

These things are gonna fall.

478

:

There's something else that you

need to be impressed with instead.

479

:

And it's almost as.

480

:

His interaction with the woman at the

well in, in Samaria when she says,

481

:

which mountain's the right mountain?

482

:

And Jesus says, I tell you the truth,

it's not this mountain or that mountain,

483

:

but God desires those to worship him,

to worship him in spirit and truth.

484

:

So I think that's what's going on

here in, in chapter 13 a little bit.

485

:

Right.

486

:

And I would also add too, one of

the things that you might see here,

487

:

he says in verse 10, the gospel

must first be proclaimed to all

488

:

the nations before the end comes.

489

:

Essentially, I'm gonna synthesize that

now we're dispensationalist and we also

490

:

believe that God is able to come even now.

491

:

That there's he's not waiting on

something like this to say, well, I'm

492

:

not coming yet until this happens.

493

:

We believe that this is connected

to the larger eschatological picture

494

:

where God is saying this, the ultimate

end is going to come and these

495

:

are some of the attending events.

496

:

But we also believe that prior to

this, Jesus can say, look, it's time.

497

:

I'm gonna rapture up my people and begin

the final countdown as it were into the.

498

:

Ultimate end of days.

499

:

So I, I wanna read this carefully

and say, okay, what is it telling me?

500

:

How does it want me to be prepared?

501

:

But I don't want you putting your hope in.

502

:

Well, great.

503

:

The gospel hasn't gone to all

four corners of the world yet.

504

:

I'm safe at least for

a little while longer.

505

:

Right?

506

:

Maybe not.

507

:

Don't assume and don't

presume upon the Lord.

508

:

Right.

509

:

Yeah.

510

:

And that's so much of this is

talking about those end times.

511

:

There will be, you will

hear rumors of wars.

512

:

Wars will be present.

513

:

Do not be alarmed.

514

:

This must take place,

but the end is not yet.

515

:

Our sending pastor does a, a q and A on.

516

:

You can find his podcast on Spotify.

517

:

Asked Pastor Mike on Spotify.

518

:

There, I was listening to it this week.

519

:

Somebody called in and said, Hey, pastor

Mike, can you address the war in Iran

520

:

and how it relates to the end times.

521

:

The wars and the rumors of

wars and things like that.

522

:

And basically he said, look, I

can't be too specific with you.

523

:

I'm not gonna sit here and tell you

it's unrelated, but I can't sit here

524

:

and tell you that it's specifically

the fulfillment of this part of it.

525

:

Because all he says here is

you're gonna hear about wars and

526

:

you're gonna hear about rumors.

527

:

And the reality is these are

the beginnings of the end.

528

:

This is the birth pain.

529

:

So you need to be ready.

530

:

And that's kind the point that

he was making as well in that.

531

:

Yeah.

532

:

That Pastor Mike's a good teacher.

533

:

He is.

534

:

He should do a church.

535

:

He should, he should, might be good.

536

:

I think it'd be okay.

537

:

Yeah.

538

:

All right, let's pray and they'll

be done with this episode.

539

:

Lord, help us to live ready for

your return at any point, and

540

:

we wanna be faithful to that.

541

:

This ties back into what we were talking

about not tolerating sin in the camp.

542

:

As believers, we don't want to

be found unready, unprepared.

543

:

We don't wanna be found entertaining

sin in our lives when you return.

544

:

And so help us to be zealous for

godliness and for holiness, Lord, so

545

:

that we are ready when you bring us

into the reality of our future with

546

:

you, which is gonna be so sweet.

547

:

Where we don't have to worry about or

fight sin anymore because it will be gone

548

:

vanquished finally, once and for all.

549

:

We can't wait for that day,

and that causes us to say,

550

:

come quickly, Lord Jesus.

551

:

But until you do, may we be

found faithful in Jesus' name.

552

:

Amen.

553

:

And we'll keep reading those bibles
