As God reveals His loving kindness to us we are transformed and begin to express that same love to one another. This love is expressed in many ways of kindness, respect and sacrifice towards one another. In the true words of the scripture this love has become our more excellent way.
Dale:
Your love must exceed your submission. That love exceeds everything else. We first must love, and that will lead us into everything else. And love will overcome any of our failures, our shortcomings. Love will cover all that. His love is everywhere and motivation for everything. The places we can find to exercise love are so many little things, the big things . We need to be aware as we function in the way that God has taught us to function. We're not only showing love to Him by functioning in His love, we're showing love to one another.
Monnie:
Be kind to one another, and that will open the door to being able to love. Being kind. love, it's hard to define, but being kind, being respectful, help us to be an expression all the time
Ron:
He loves us and He wants His love manifested in the earth. There's an abandonment to God's love and abandonment - I throw myself into His hands and just trust Him. Find myself spending a lot of time consciously waiting on Him, drawing on Him, drawing on Him. He is so driven to manifest His love to the earth. He's bringing forth His kingdom, and it starts with the person you look at in the mirror.
Dale:
We have to believe who we are. We have to believe our relationship to God. And then that brings out that depth of love. We so love one another. We move into a higher level of love . That depth of love that can look at and see all the things that are wrong and see all the things that are right and put them on one pile and say, God so loved me that He gave His only begotten Son for me . That causes a implant of a new heart from Him into us.
Ken:
knowing that the God head Jesus and the Father are there living in our lives. And knowing the presence, His presence within us, each one of us, usher each other into His presence. The living presence of the living God is here ministering and lifting us up into that next level, that next place, that higher place. What is love? That's God. So if we're loving and learning how to love more and love each other more and love those people out there more, that's just getting up into a higher level in the Lord.
Mike:
When we are walking in true love of the Father that comes through Christ who's in us, it's an ongoing process. And thank you, Lord, for it, because we can't do it alone. We do it with one another. With the Lord, with the Father, with the Spirit, and with one another.
Ron:
Where today can I manifest His love? Where can I give a little kindness here?Where can I pray a prayer here? Whatever He lays before you in an opportunity. I don't think there's anything too small. Our minds want to dismiss a prayer, or they want to dismiss a phone call or a card. They want to dismiss things like that. That doesn't feel like the love of God. The love of God is so inclusive and so detailed and so free to express His love in everything.
Pat:
We long for this connection. His love is so great. And we see it in one another because He's in us. Our Father's in us, Christ is in us, and we keep on moving because He's accumulative, and He's drawing us, and we're going up higher.
Jim:
There is no thing too small for us to just overlook it. If you've never had a child - if you've never raised a child - or if you've never raised up a homeless person, or if you've never learned - if you've never paid any attention to anybody, Who probably didn't deserve anybody else's attention at all because they stank, their clothes were dirty, or they're - if you just didn't pay any attention to them at all, just overlooked them as you're walking by , maybe you missed out.
I bless everybody to have an experience of how much God so loves . . And maybe it'll change your mind as to how you behave towards people. Now, because as we get older, we get more crotchety, we don't filter things through our feelings and our heart. Help us to stay soft and pliable.
Mike:
I'm thankful we're in that phase, because it just shows us how much He loves us. He wants us to become like Him eventually. We don't really understand what that's going to entail.
Pat:
I just love, and I want to love, like the Lord loves. We are a part of Christ in one another. We're so melted in His love, and we're growing and changing every day. It's a joy to be in His presence. He's touching us and we're touching the world with His love.
Betty:
Kindness - we can show. Go over to somebody that you know doesn't ever get attention, and say, gee, that's a pretty color on you or, or something. You know, just they'll never forget it. So important to be kind to people, whether you know them or not, if you can just be kind to them, they'll never forget it.
Mike:
We talked about kindness and we talk about loving and what-not. To me, the word that popped up, especially when you read the Psalms is God's loving kindness . That word just keeps popping up all through the Psalms - His loving kindness. The Psalmist says, “restore us, O God, our salvation and cause Your indignation toward us to cease.
Will You be angry with us forever? Will You prolong your anger to all generations? Will You not yourself revive us again? Your people may rejoice in you. Show us Your loving kindness, O Lord, and grant us Your salvation.”
