Episode Title: The Coat You're Still Carrying

Episode Description:

Joseph didn't put either coat down both times they were taken from him. But he never went back for them either. He turned around and got to work. In Genesis 39, we see the same God show up in a wealthy house and a prison cell with the same faithfulness. This episode is about what you do after the coat is gone whether it was taken, whether you need to lay it down, or whether you're still reaching back for something that's already gone.

In This Episode:

  • Why Joseph's second coat matters as much as the first and what's different about it
  • The pattern God repeats in Potiphar's house and the prison, and what it means for where you are right now
  • Three places you might be with your coat: it was taken, you're still holding it, or it's gone but you keep reaching back
  • The difference between grief and bitterness and why that distinction changes everything
  • What it looks like to stop chasing a coat that's already gone

Key Quote:

"Joseph didn't go back for either coat. Not once. He turned around, found the work in front of him, and God showed up in every place he was put."
