The Fat Man makes this weeks post with their drama, Murder Wins the Draw. This episode is believed to have aired, April 1, 1949. "Believed" because it's very difficult to find matching air dates for The Fat Man.
Most of the U.S. productions are no longer in circulation, but many of the Australian episodes still exist. The Fat Man was produced on Australian radio from September 1954 to 1955 for 55 episodes. With the Brad Runyon role played by actor Lloyd Berrell (b. 02/1926 – d. 12/1957).
The Fat Man was credited to Dashiell Hammett (b. 1894 - d. 01/1961), author of The Thin Man.
The U.S. version (1946-1951) was broadcast from WJZ studios in Newark, New Jersey, and syndicated on the ABC Radio Network.
