Marcie Telander's bio

Marcie Telander is a Registered Expressive Arts Therapist and Licensed Professional Counselor in New Mexico, eco-therapist, award-winning writer, filmmaker and journalist. She is a ritualist, mythographer, TEDXTalk presenter, and Integrative Medicine Woman who stands at the intersection of ancient wisdom and cutting-edge knowledge. She is known as the Godmother of her community and a traditional Wisdom-bearer, Spiritual Weaver and Guide from her ancestral Northern Traditions of Norse, Germanic and Celtic practice.

As the Executive Director of Earth Wisdom Institute, she guides people in honoring their local Spirit of Place. You can find her celebrating local history, artists and elders through Earth-justice events with storytelling workshops and inclusive, intergenerational community events.
