Karen is an occupational therapist with over 20 years of experience treating lymphedema and lipedema. In this excerpt, Karen talks about a concept she calls Carbohydrate Hell. She discusses sugar addiction and how she uses plant-based sweeteners to wean her patients off of sugar.
