Last time I told you about a friend who put his stuck car in drive and pushed it out of a snowbank all by himself. I’m Dan Hansen and this is a Minute at RepcoLite.
And before you congratulate him on his brilliance . . . the doors locked while he was pushing and he couldn’t get back into his moving car and had to push it back into the ditch where it ended up stuck worse than before.
The point is this: we get stuck in our homes from time to time. So much work, so many projects that we don’t know where to start. And while it’s tempting to tell ourselves that we’ll fix this ourselves . . . sometimes you just can’t push yourself out of the ditch. And if you do . . . sometimes you make things worse!
For some people, and some situations, what we need to get unstuck is some momentum–a little push like we’ve talked about previously. For some of us, we actually need some help. It could be help with understanding how to do something, it could be another pair of hands to help with the work, and it could be a professional we bring in to get us over the hump. We’ll dig deeper tomorrow. I’m Dan Hansen and that’s a Minute at RepcoLite.
