Today, Dr. Joan Ifland talks about how processed food addiction keeps women from adopting a healthy eating plan. Dr. Ifland earned her PhD in addictive nutrition at Union Institute and University (2010), her MBA at Stanford Business School (1978), and her BA in Economics and Political Science at Oberlin College (1974). For over 20 years, she has made several breakthroughs in food addiction recovery, from the publication of her first book in 1999 to the 2018 release of her textbook Processed Food Addiction: Foundations, Assessment, and Recovery by CRC Press.
