This is the final episode of the Liberation Wisdom Podcast.
After many iterations — from sex podcast to spiritual podcast — Kayla is closing this chapter and moving fully into the Walk As Love Podcast, the official podcast of Walk As Love Temple.
In this farewell episode Kayla shares what the temple actually is, how it works, and why she built it. She walks through the three pillars of the temple, explains the three circles and how they move through the moon cycle, and speaks honestly about her vision for co-ed healing spaces and what it means to weave the divine feminine and masculine back into harmony.
This is a heartfelt, honest, and thorough introduction to everything Walk As Love Temple stands for.
In this episode:
Walk as Love Temple Membership
The Path of Remembrance
Welcome to Liberation Wisdom.
I'm Kayla Moore, a Sacred feminine priestess in training and guide on the path of walking as love in a world of chaos.
This podcast is for seekers, healers and anyone who feels the old world crumbling and the new one trying to be born.
Each episode we explore how to liberate ourselves from patriarchal wounds, weave the divine feminine and divine masculine back into harmony and witness the real tangible evidence of the new earth manifesting through collective consciousness shifts.
This isn't about bypassing the darkness.
It's about alchemizing grief and rage into fuel for co creating what comes next.
We are the light and the love.
When we choose love and peace internally, we are also sending those vibrations to be mirrored the world around us.
This is Liberation Wisdom.
Always choose love.
Welcome beloveds, back to the Liberation Wisdom Podcast.
I'm Kayla Moore, your host and I am here to give you the last episode of this podcast.
It's been been a long time since I've been on here and a lot of things have happened in the last few months since I decided to take a break to focus on building the Walk is Love Temple.
I did a soft launch of that at the Wild Feminine Fair in Gig Harbor, Washington and that went very well.
And now I'm at a point where I am moving on to creating the Walk As Love podcast.
That will be a podcast that is in tandem with the temple and we'll talk all about the different things that I really want to share on a spiritual podcast.
It will be all the different components of the temple talking about the different circles that I will be holding in the temple.
There are three different circles.
The initiation circle that happens on, on and around the new moon, that is for everyone that joins within that last moon cycle to be initiated into the temple officially.
And then there is what is called the Fire and Kin circle that will be held once a week.
And that is where everyone gets to come together and dive into the different archetypes that we are going to be talking about in the temple.
In my priestess training, I have been learning about 13 different feminine archetypes that are all different depictions of what it means to be human and how we move through life.
Each one has light qualities and dark qualities and it gives kind of a framework for how we interpret different things or experience different things in our lives.
So as an example, the last one that I just went through is an archetype that is about initiation and it is about how do we really hold our truth and our power and cut away the things that are not serving us to be able to, again, walk as love in this world.
And so I have kind of created my own version of each of these archetypes and taken the elements that I have gleaned from my experience with them thus far.
And those are going to be a monthly moon cycle theme that we will be talking through, that we will be diving deeper into through the chats in the temple, as well as the Fire and Kin circle.
That is the circle where we will kind of dive deeper into that archetype and understand how we move through life with that archetype and what that means in our spiritual growth and journey.
And then the last one that you are all familiar with is the Holy Rage Circle, and that will be on and around the full moon.
And so I will kind of flavor, I think, each of the circles based on that archetype of the month.
But again, the Holy Rage Circle is about being fully witnessed in your grief and your rage through grounding and sharing in the beginning.
And then we take it into a more somatic experience and really embrace and understand how to fully move rage and grief through our body's full.
And then we alchemize it or transform it into joy and pleasure.
And then from that place, we hold the vision collectively together, of what we want to see differently in the world.
And then we end with a closing and a prayer.
So all three of these circles help to move us through the cycle of the moon.
And, you know, each moon cycle then moves us through the cycle of the year.
And so it is a very cyclical, moving temple.
And we'll really dive into a lot of the different aspects of the three pillars that I have in the temple.
The first, the archetypes kind of lend itself to the most, which is liberating ourselves from patriarchal conditioning.
And I know that's a big task, but it is really, really important that we are looking at what is the conditioning that we have been indoctrinated into through our families, through school, through work, through our faith communities, through our peers, through media, through just living a life in this world.
There's no judgment around it.
Absolutely.
And I think there is a lot of opportunity for us to think about how do we want to live in this world differently?
That is the biggest mission of the Temple of the Walk As Love Temple is how do we walk as Love out in the world and choose love and community over fear and control.
And so when we can deconstruct our understanding of patriarchal norms and patriarchal narratives and conditioning, then we can understand better how we want to Walk as love out in the world.
So the archetypes are really the vehicle for us to be able to look more closely at different patriarchal structures and ways of being in the world that no longer serve and working internally on how do we shift our belief systems and our value systems around that and then collectively create together what we think would be a better version of this world.
The second pillar is weaving the divine feminine and divine masculine back into the fabric of what it means to be human.
And this is probably the biggest pillar that I have and one that is still coming into form.
But the temple itself is actually co ed.
It is not just for women.
It is for anyone and everyone.
All identities are welcome that have their own mission of wanting to walk his love out in the world.
These are really people I'm calling for, people who really are feeling like they are seeing the writing on the wall, they are seeing the veil fall.
They are going through their own transformation, their own upgrade, and they are seeing that this world is no longer sustainable for human life and are spiritual people that are awakening and remembering who we actually are as human beings.
But they might be looking around at the people around them and noticing that they might be one of the only ones, that they might still be living in households or communities where it's really hard to find other people that are thinking and feeling the same things that they are.
So this is the space for you.
This is the space for us to really come together and feel like we have our chosen kin, we have people to lean on that are experiencing the same things that we are experiencing.
We are the ones that are moving first, that are going in the first wave or first couple waves of this awakening.
And sometimes that can feel really, really isolating and make it seem like you're alone in this experience, in this want for change.
And I want people out there that are feeling that way to know that you are absolutely not alone.
But it can feel very lonely being one of the first ones to feel this way and to know that things need to shift.
And maybe you are already trying to shift things in your life and people are looking at you like, what the heck are you doing?
Why are you doing something that historically has been looked at as reckless or as.
As reckless or as a risk or maybe just plain out crazy.
And it can be hard to feel like you can stay on this path and keep the faith, keep the openness to receiving, keep the courage to step into yourself and step into your fullness and your own power.
And on the path that spirit or the universe is Leading you on without a community of people behind you saying, we feel this too, and we know deep down in our hearts and our souls that this is the right path for us as well.
So the pillar around the Divine Feminine and Divine Masculine.
I have been getting a lot of downloads since I have been conceptualizing and creating the temple around wanting to work specifically with the Divine Feminine and Divine Masculine energies.
And again, these are also archetypes.
And we have both of these energies in all people.
The feminine is not only in women.
The masculine is not only in men.
Everyone comes from a sperm and an egg, and we all have these energies within us.
And from my therapeutic background as a therapist, as a sex therapist, I've worked with a lot of coup and especially heterosexual couples.
And I really feel like this is one of the battlegrounds, if you will, of what it looks like to move humanity forward.
Almost all of humanity is in some type of relationship, whether it's to self, whether it's to a family member, whether it's to a spouse, whether it's to a friend.
Relationships are part of what make up our lives.
And especially when it comes to marriage and the nuclear family, I think we are really seeing how the macro in the world is then created in the micro within a relationship.
And I've seen for a really long time that couples and people in general have been trying to figure out a different way to do relationships than how we have previously before.
ships, if you say like in the:In some ways they are still very much the same, or even if we call it something different or want it to be different, it still functionally might look the same.
And so I think really what we're seeing right now, and I am included in this, is a rise in women specifically, but also men wanting things different.
Women specifically are right now really coming into their fullness.
The feminine is definitely rising, and it is helping women step more into their fullness and their power and not allowing themselves to fall into the trap of erasing ourselves when it comes to relationships, to people pleasing to overdoing and over functioning and carrying the emotional load and burden within a relationship.
Many women are starting to say, I am no longer signing up for that.
I am no longer participating or consenting to that type of dynamic in a relationship.
And some relationships are able to morph into something different and hold that new reality.
And some are not.
And I don't think it's only women, but the People that I have been seeing, at least in my orbit, have been women specifically saying, I'm no longer going to do this.
And there are real ramifications and consequences to that.
A lot of relationships are ending because of that, that they don't feel like their partners are meeting them where they want to be met.
And it's very hard to have to say goodbye to relationships that were once maybe predicated on a different type of belief system and a different person that you were when that relationship started.
But a lot of women are coming into their own and saying, I no longer want to be that person anymore, and I have moved forward, and either you move with me or you don't.
I do think there are a lot of men out there though, too, that are seeking safe spaces to do their own internal work and to do their own spiritual work, but don't have a lot of spaces to do so.
There are a lot of women's spaces.
There are lots of women's circles.
There are lots of also, you know, women only temples that I am also a part of and a member of.
But there I, at least I have not seen very many co ed spaces for people to be able to hold opposing narratives and opposing experiences and really heal together in community.
Not just with the people that can validate you in your own experience because they themselves have experienced that particular experience, but also with people who are wanting to be safe people wanting to be people that are doing the internal work, but also have opposing experiences because they might have been on the other end of the spectrum.
So the Walk As Love Temple.
I really want to be a place where we have specific safe spaces for men, for women, for LGBTQIA people, for all different identities, so that people can have a place to land first that feels safe, that feels like I can get my feet wet in a space that isn't too opposing to what I have experienced.
Because I want everyone at the very beginning and foundation to feel extremely validated in whatever they have experienced and whatever they are moving through.
We are all walking through this world with trauma, and this temple is going to be a place where we are addressing a lot of that, where we are asking the hard questions and holding the hard to feel feelings and moving through a lot of this grief and rage and trauma that we all hold in our bodies.
So it is so important for people to have safe spaces.
But circles like the Kin and Fire Circle, those are the spaces where I want to start that next level of healing.
Those are the spaces where once you have felt like you have been heard and held in the safe space that you have and really have done enough individual work to feel like you could hold someone else's experience and perspective.
These are the spaces where it allows people to hear and understand perspectives that may be different from their own or experiences that may be similar to what they experienced.
But maybe it was the opposite person in their experience and hearing it from like the opposite side, even if it, you know, is not the, the actual person that was in their experience.
So I will speak personally.
Like a lot of women, rightfully so.
Have a lot of trauma around men.
A lot of us have had bad experiences with men in our past and it's really hard to hold someone else's trauma, a man's trauma, and how it led them to showing up and maybe the way that they did, and maybe that's a similar way that a partner previously of yours has shown up as.
And so we have to get to a place in our own healing where we are ready to hear and hold the stories of someone else that might be similar to someone in our own past.
And it's not easy, but I will tell you, as someone in a relationship currently that is beginning to heal some of my own trauma around what it means to be in a relationship to a man.
This is the work that needs to happen.
I have been in so many female only spaces and I love them.
I love, love, love them.
And I think we always need female, always need male only spaces, always need queer only spaces.
This is so necessary again for that validation reason and to be able to even know that like what you experienced was important and something that other people have also experienced.
And the next level of healing after that is being able to hold the experiences of others and of the opposite spectrum of what your experience is and start to bridge this divide between masculine and feminine and start to understand what does it actually mean to be in divine masculine and divine feminine and how those can come into harmony within all of us, within each human.
How do those two energies come into harmony with each other and be devoted to each other?
And then how do we use that to then look at how do we have the divine masculine, divine feminine come into harmony within a romantic relationship, within a friendship, within a relationship with your family member, within our relationship to the earth?
I think this is one of the pillars that is so important to me and how we start to really make significant change in this world.
And I think the third layer of this that I will just note as well, once we're able to hold another person's experience, then my final goal with that is for people to then look back within themselves and try to understand how have they actually perpetuated a patriarchal structure within their own lives?
And again, there is absolutely no judgment with that.
But I think once we hear another person's experience that maybe is different from our own, it's important to then take it back to ourselves and try to understand, was there ever a time or has there ever been a circumstance or a belief system in your own life where you have perpetuated how we are thinking about things in society and how we are maybe treating certain types of people, or what our expectations of certain types of people are.
And when we can hold that with love and compassion and honesty and not shame ourselves around it, but just to notice it and to hold it and then to be curious around.
How do we transform that into something more positive and create a different way of being in a dynamic in our world?
How do we change what it means to be in a marriage?
How do we change what it means to be a woman or a man in this world?
How do we change how we relate to our Earth and that dynamic?
I mean, there's so many different dynamics that we have that we just take for granted because we have a certain script around them that I think we really need to start deconstructing and understanding.
How do we do that differently?
So that is pillar number two, which is weaving the divine feminine and divine masculine back into what it means to be human.
And then the last pillar is kind of the overall mission, is that we then use the first two pillars to walk out in the world as love and to hold a torch for the world that we want.
Instead of the world that we have, we envision something new.
Instead of always talking about the things that we don't want, we envision something that we do want.
And we hold it and we carry it, and we hold the light in the darkness to show that it is okay for other people to come and join us and to do the same.
And again, it's not easy.
And that's why it's one of the pillars, is because it's a practice that we have to do.
And trust me, as somebody that is walking pretty much on the fringes every day right now, it's hard.
It is hard to be somebody that is going against the grain and is trying to create something new out of thin air.
And it takes a lot of us to stand up together with each other, linking arm in arm and saying, we got each other in order to make that happen.
It's really Hard to do it by yourself.
So when we can come together and build a community of people that are like minded, I say like hearted and have the same vision, have the same mission, it is so much easier to then go back into your own life and try to do this in real time.
To try to really prioritize and choose love and community and compassion in hard situations than to go back to fear and control and manipulation.
So that is really the walk is Love Temple.
The membership is open.
It is open.
It's currently an online community.
It is on a mighty networks platform and it has different chat features where you can get to know each other.
I really would love for people to chat on the platform and then if you have people that you find that are in your own area to actually meet each other in person and make this also something that comes into real life and isn't just online.
These circles will be on zoom.
So they will be zoom circles so we will be able to see our faces, but they will be online.
And my goal is if I get a enough people that are willing to travel or are are actually in my surrounding area of Gig Harbor, Washington that I would be able to do a lot more in person circles or workshops or eventually I want to hold a retreat.
There are a lot of people that I want to do some collaborations with.
I already have somebody that I definitely want to do some type of circle around working on the divine, feminine, divine, masculine with couples.
So the abilities and dreams around the temple are endless.
But it does take getting people interested and in the temple first to grow into that.
So right now I'm keeping it simple, I'm keeping it online so that it's easy for people to access and then we can grow over time.
So this is really a co creation that I want to do with the people that are interested in.
I'm very excited to provide a founding member rate of $66 a month for the initial people that come into the temple.
And that will be your founding rate for the foreseeable future.
I think I would almost guarantee to grandfather people in if you stayed to, you know, whatever degree the temple grows.
So I am really looking for people that are wanting to co create something beautiful and to be in a community with people that have the same values and the same mission to create a better world.
So this is my last, my last episode for the Liberation Wisdom podcast.
I am moving everything that I am doing all, all of my teachings, my musings, all the things that I will be bringing into the temple, the different archetypes and the downloads that I get, I will be sharing all of those in the official Walk As Love podcast.
So I will link the Walk as Love podcast down below so you can go subscribe to that instead and be some of my first listeners on that podcast as I grow that one as well.
And I will also link the website for the Walk As Love temple.
It's just walkaslovetemple.com but I will link that down in the show notes and I hope anyone that feels the call will go and check out the website to learn more about it and to see if becoming a member is on your path.
And if it is, there is a link to the membership portal and you can go become a member today.
So if you sign up today, then you can get in the temple and you can see when the next circles are.
The full moon is coming up next week, and so that will be when we will be doing the Holy Rage Circle.
And then when the next new moon comes up, then we will do the initiation circle into the next archetype and to officially welcome you into the temple.
And then of course, we will have the Fire and Kin Circle every week.
And I'm just very excited to welcome any people that decide that this is on their path.
So thank you all for listening to the Liberation Wisdom podcast.
Thank you for going through all the iterations of it.
I'm going to leave it up in the podcast sphere so the anyone can find all the things that I've done so far.
I've had so many iterations of who I am and what I'm doing in this podcast.
I've grown through trying to do a sex podcast with my best friend to then doing, you know, sex podcasts on my own and took a couple different forms of that.
And then I kind of grew it into more of a spiritual podcast.
And it's.
It's just taken on a lot of different forms, but I feel like I'm ready to kind of close this chapter.
I've done a lot of the transforming and moving into new iterations of myself, and now I'm really ready to move into fully the Walk As Love Temple and the Walk As Love Podcast and make those two work together in tandem and hopefully bring those into harmony so that the podcast is an extension of the temple and gives a lot of insight and understanding to what the temple actually is and what it means for the people that are there.
And for me, as the priestess in training and temple keeper of the Walk As Love Temple.
So I love you all.
I hope to have you all go listen to the Walk As Love podcast and to check out the temple.
And I just so appreciate you all for being here.
Take care all.
