At just the mention of smooth jazz pioneers SPYRO GYRA, you know it's gonna be good. Correction, amazing! No doubt, a big part of their success is keyboard virtuoso and co-leader, Tom Schuman. He started with them at their very beginning and at the ripe senior age of sixteen! Tom's journey was not without its bumps and bruises. We didn't talk about the piano falling on him at his first pro gig .... and how he completed said gig. Tom's story, just like his playing is truly amazing!
