Part 3 of 3 — The War and the Why. Wise men from the East follow a star for two years to worship a toddler king — while the scholars five miles away, who can name the exact town from Scripture, never bother to walk there. Herod hears "king" and reaches for a sword. The baby escapes to Egypt by night, mothers weep in Bethlehem, and behind it all a dragon waits at the delivery-room door. Because this was never only a birth. It was a war — and its battle plan was written in the very first promise in the Bible: the child of the woman would crush the serpent's head. The manger was always headed for the cross.
