So you're probably asking yourself, or at least I hope you are, what the heck is What the Health, and why should I even listen? Pretty good questions, especially since you're probably already kind of busy. So how's this for an answer? Listening could help save your life, or at least help you live a longer and better life, because you're gonna get news and insights on a wide range of health and wellness issues.
But let's be. What the health is not here to replace your doctors or other healthcare professionals. We're here to provide sourced information on pressing issues so that you're better informed, empowered to dig deeper, able to make better life choices, and maybe even relate more effectively to medical professionals.
You might not agree with everything here. That's okay. Skepticism. Besides, we're not here to evangelize, proselytize, or advocate for any particular wellness or healthcare approach. We're here because we saw an information gap. Too much of the health news on the market now was either too technical, not balanced, or simply served up to sell a particular product or service.
We decided people needed and deserve better, and that means accessible information from reliable sources on issues you should be thinking about and maybe acting on. Each podcast will focus on a different topic. We've already lined up the first two. We're gonna deal with heart health slash heart disease in one, and then with daylight saving time costing everybody an hour of sound sleep.
Our other inaugural podcast will cover the hidden dangers of insomnia and sleep deprivation. Going forward, we'll build episodes around fitness, child development, healthy aging, nutrition back to school issues, and even why pets can be so vital to our health. There'll be other issues as well, and we're always open to suggestions. So let us know what you're thinking.
What will be consistent throughout each podcast is that the information presented will come from reliable and attributable sources, most of which are drawn from stories produced by the journalists from WellWell usa.com or our associated health and wellness news site.
Many of the podcasts will also include interviews with experts on a given topic. Oh yeah. Each episode will also offer exclusive discounts on related products and services. Now, we're gonna start doing these podcasts twice a month. If you love them, we'll kick that up to once a week. Okay. All of this begs a question, should you listen to What the Health? We think so, heck, it couldn't hurt, and it might just help a lot.
Thanks.
