He also has extensive experience in the film and TV industry as well as publishing, where he has written books about all sorts of sci-fi franchises. In this week's interview, he talks about the influence of Space: 1999 on Battlestar Galactica, casting his sci-fi heroes and heroines in his own shows, and memories of watching Gerry Anderson shows on New York television.
