Crister graduated from the University of California Santa Barbara with a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Theater with emphasis in acting, and a Bachelors of Arts in Spanish Literature. Upon graduating, he continued taking acting classes at the Lee Strasberg Film and Theater Institute and at Santa Barbara City College. Crister appeared as the lead in an independent feature-length, faith-based film "Redemption of the Heart", which premiered at the Arlington Theater. He has received numerous Best Actor awards. His love for acting prompted him to continue working on his original screenplay, based on true Santa Barbara events, thus "RESCUED" was born. Crister not only wrote the story but also produced, directed and starred as the lead character of Agustus Torrante.
