Takeaways:
Does that make sense, though?
Speaker B:That makes complete sense.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:I never thought of it.
Speaker B:So if you're 23 right now, the guy that you're with should be the guy that you're going to end up with.
Speaker A:Well, yeah, if you're saying, as a woman, I want marriage and kids by age 30.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker A:You need to be in that relationship five years prior, which you should do.
Speaker B:Because who knows what's going to happen to fertility.
Speaker A:Realistically.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker A:Oh, there's some people who they meet this year, they get married next year and then the kids are following you.
Speaker A:Yeah, that's an exception.
Speaker A:It happens.
Speaker A:But a lot of the time they're a lot older and there's a pressure because there's a biological clock for women.
Speaker A:So there's a lot of pressure, a lot of time.
Speaker A:Or maybe certain circumstances, like, oh, they need to get married so they can move to a country together.
Speaker A:Do you know what I mean?
Speaker A:So it's usually exceptional circumstances.
Speaker A:Does that happen?
Speaker A:But for most, for most people, yeah.
Speaker A:It's.
Speaker A:It's a process.
Speaker A:It takes time.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:Crazy, right?
Speaker B:Next question.
Speaker A:Go for it.
Speaker B:Oh, yeah, this is, I want to get this, because this is quite funny.
Speaker B:So I was speaking to.
Speaker B:I went on a date last week with a girl and we were talking about her icks or some, her friends.
Speaker B:Icks.
Speaker B:I think they were her ex.
Speaker B:I think it was a basic cover up.
Speaker B:And just when you're talking about like we're sort of brushing over the topic of pickiness.
Speaker B:Right.
Speaker B:I just want to get your opinion on some of these because I think they're brilliant.
Speaker B:This is like a little sort of jokey segment, but running after a ping.
Speaker A:Pong ball, that's an ick.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker A:Okay.
Speaker B:Silly awkward half step before you get on the elevator.
Speaker B:The point of the reason is, is because, like, what is this?
Speaker B:When you're struggling with dating and you've got something like this, it's.
Speaker A:I said let that girl go immediately, bro.
Speaker B:But as in that if a girl.
Speaker A:Came to me, she was like, an ick of mine.
Speaker A:Is a guy running for a ping pong ball or taking a half step before an elevator.
Speaker A:I'd be like, thank you, goodbye.
Speaker B:And then the final one is when he says, bye bye.
Speaker A:Bye bye.
Speaker B:I get that a little bit.
Speaker B:When he says bye bye.
Speaker A:Who says bye bye?
Speaker A:No more.
Speaker B:It's a good point.
Speaker B:Who says goodbye?
Speaker B:That's.
Speaker B:That's kind of funny.
Speaker A:As you said, he says bye bye.
Speaker B:Bye bye.
Speaker B:To be fair.
Speaker A:All right, alfred.
Speaker A:It's like 87 bye bye.
Speaker B:I can See why that's the one that I got behind.
Speaker A:Come on.
Speaker B:But yeah, it's just if that's what the culture dictate, if that's what the expectations are, it makes sense why so many women are in the situation they're in.
Speaker A:Should I tell you what it is?
Speaker A:I'm gonna be honest.
Speaker A:Right.
Speaker B:Oh God.
Speaker A:When you, when you're in a position of abundance, you can afford to be picky about silly, stupid things.
Speaker A:Right.
Speaker A:So the way that, it's funny because I noticed the same thing in desirable men and women, but at different stages.
Speaker A:So I noticed that with young attractive women.
Speaker A:Yeah, I noticed that with older, successful, attractive men.
Speaker B:So what age is that?
Speaker B:What does what, what count as?
Speaker B:What's like the peak age then?
Speaker A:What for men?
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:If you, if you would say that the peak age for a woman is when you said, you use the word younger.
Speaker B:So whatever that means.
Speaker B:But how old is old for a man in that context of.
Speaker A:So when, when does a guy kind of hit his like sexual market peak?
Speaker A:Yeah, honestly, anywhere between 35 and 45.
Speaker B:Really?
Speaker A:Yeah, that's when most men get the most attention from women.
Speaker A:That's because especially like, really, we're kind of talking kind of early 30s onwards.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker A:So if a guy is in his early 30s, cuz thing is, by time most guys have reached their mid-30s, they've established themselves in their career, they've got a level of stability.
Speaker A:Right.
Speaker A:They've got, you know, confidence, experience.
Speaker A:They've, you know, if they've done that, then they've developed some leadership qualities.
Speaker A:Right.
Speaker A:These are things that women find very attractive for men.
Speaker A:So a lot of the things that women find attractive in, especially a man, for long term, we develop as guys over time.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker A:So if you get a guy, let's say he's in his early to mid-30s, he's developed his career, he's, you know, stable, he's kind of established himself, you know, taking his place in the world as a man.
Speaker A:And he keeps up with his, you know, physical appearance, looks after himself, you know, fitness, health wise, sleeps well.
Speaker A:Yeah, he's gonna be, he's gonna be getting a lot of attention from a lot of women for at least the next 10 years.
Speaker A:Plus it's, I'm just gonna be honest in terms of, in terms of experience.
Speaker A:Right.
Speaker A:In terms of, in terms of experience, if a guy is desirable and if a woman's desirable, like, you know, and you know, like a young, attractive, 21, 21 year old girl, every door opens for her.
Speaker A:She can go wherever she wants, she might get into a bar or club with Chris Brown or Leonardo DiCaprio, right?
Speaker A:Like everybody wants her to be in the room.
Speaker B:Another, someone else that I know, this girl, she's a bit younger that.
Speaker B:But she, this guy delivered a package to her and he rang, he messaged her afterwards saying, do you want to go to Paris this weekend?
Speaker B:So he messaged her on her on his private number and just said, you want to go to Paris this weekend?
Speaker A:And I was like, she's young and attractive.
Speaker B:That's crazy.
Speaker A:100 And she is.
Speaker A:But so like a 21, a 35 year old, attractive, successful man is like a 21 year old girl.
Speaker A:Young, attractive woman.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker A:Like, okay, you know, I'm saying, he's saying, we're saying he's successful and attractive.
Speaker A:So people want him to be in the room.
Speaker A:People want something from him, right?
Speaker A:If he's successful, he has value to offer that people want.
Speaker A:Women are looking at him like, wow, he's attractive, successful, he's established.
Speaker A:Do you know what I mean?
Speaker A:Now if I'm being honest, even the most attractive, successful guy, he doesn't get anywhere, get anywhere near his attention as like the most attractive women.
Speaker A:Like, just generally us guys, we don't.
Speaker A:No, you know, even like celebrity level, like, I'm not even joking.
Speaker A:The amount of attention like the average female influencer gets is equivalent to like what Leonardo DiCaprio would get.
Speaker A:Like, it's that, it's that, that disparity in terms of the level of attention opportunities women get for being young and attractive.
Speaker A:Now there's pros and cons to both.
Speaker A:So being a woman, you're young, attractive, when you're young, you get a lot of opportunities, you get a lot of power and influence when you're young.
Speaker A:And you didn't really have to earn it.
Speaker A:You didn't really have to earn it, right?
Speaker A:But the con to that is that you lose that over time and there's nothing you can really do to change that, right?
Speaker A:It's just take that up with nature with guys.
Speaker A:The con with guys is that most men will never get to a point where they have a level of abundance with women, they'll never get to a point where women are chasing after them.
Speaker A:Most guys will never get to that point, right?
Speaker A:It's a very small percentage of men that do, like less than 5%.
Speaker A:Realistically.
Speaker A:But if you're one of those guys, you have that for a long time and no one could take that away from you.
Speaker B:There's a thing, a phenomenon in evolutionary Psychology called.
Speaker B:Oh, I was thinking about just as you were talking.
Speaker B:It's reproduction.
Speaker B:It's like reproduction restriction or something like that.
Speaker A:It's interesting.
Speaker B:It's basically where more mature female primates will subdue or restrict the potential reproductive.
Speaker B:The reproductive potential of younger women.
Speaker B:And.
Speaker B:Yes, and it's really well recognized in multiple.
Speaker B:Across multiple species.
Speaker B:And there's a theory that.
Speaker B:So it's basically the, the, the, the Snow White story.
Speaker B:So that's like this, that what takes place in Snow White is a creative expression of that phenomenon of how the w. The witch.
Speaker B:Not.
Speaker B:She's a witch.
Speaker B:Is she a witch?
Speaker B:I think she's a witch.
Speaker B:Anyway, she doesn't like the fact that she's not the most attractive thing anymore.
Speaker A:Yes.
Speaker B:So she takes, she becomes resentful of Snow White and she wants Snow White to disappear and she wants her to become obsolete and void of reproductive potential.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:And there's a theory that a lot of the culture that young women are embedded in now is a example of that that's being pushed on them.
Speaker B:So a lot of potential feminist ideology that older women are pushing on younger women is secretly an example of this suppression.
Speaker B:That's a reproductive suppression or something.
Speaker B:Suppression.
Speaker B:Yeah, an example of this reproductive suppression, but hidden under the guise of compassion is not quite the right word, but hidden under the guise of like caring life advice, advice, this is the right thing to do, etc.
Speaker B:Etc.
Speaker B:What do you think about that?
Speaker B:Because I think that's really, really interesting and I completely would get behind that.
Speaker A:Yeah.
Speaker A:I mean, women experience that in the workplace where like young, attractive woman, she's coming to a new company.
Speaker A:Yeah, right.
Speaker A:She's starting, you know where she's starting at.
Speaker A:And, and I'm just going for what younger, you know, professional women have told me they find the most issue with the older, higher level women.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker A:Not the guys.
Speaker A:No, it's actually the women that they struggle with.
Speaker A:So.
Speaker A:Yeah.
Speaker A:And I, I had, I had a reel of mine kind of go semi viral a few months ago because I kind of said I was like slick with Kit.
Speaker A:People stay sick with Kit.
Speaker A:And I said, because one of my mentors is an old woman, Changi.
Speaker A:She's incredible.
Speaker A:Yeah.
Speaker A:And I was talking to her and I was like.
Speaker A:And she's great.
Speaker A:She really tells women how is to actually help them.
Speaker A:And she's fantastic.
Speaker A:But I was like, why are not older women telling young women these things?
Speaker A:Like, there are a lot of older women who thought, okay, I'm going to focus on my career and when I get to 30, a man's going to be waiting there for me.
Speaker A:And that.
Speaker A:That's not how life works.
Speaker A:But instead of telling younger women that, they tell them, no, yeah, pursue your career, do what I did.
Speaker A:But the smart younger women are looking, them being like, yeah, but do I want the results that you have now?
Speaker A:Like, you're 35.
Speaker A:This is what you have.
Speaker A:Is that what I want?
Speaker A:If that's what I want, I'll do what you did.
Speaker A:But is it what I want?
Speaker B:You could make the argument that the entire sort of sexual revolution, free love revolution, fits into that category as well.
Speaker B:Because when a woman, most women are most fertile during the ages where they're most likely to engage in that sort of promiscuous behavior.
Speaker B:So they're sacrificing their most precious fertile years for a way of living that is antithetical to that.
Speaker B:I mean, that's just.
Speaker B:You could make that argument.
Speaker B:But I thought that was the way I say it.
Speaker A:The way, the way I can describe.
Speaker B:It is this reproductive suppression.
Speaker A:There's spending and there's investing.
Speaker A:Yeah, right.
Speaker A:Investing means you get a return later.
Speaker B:Yes.
Speaker A:Spending means you're enjoying it for the moment.
Speaker A:So 99 of women are given a pool of chips, right?
Speaker A:These poker chips in life, which is their sexual market power and influence.
Speaker A:A lot of women spend it when they're younger, so they get to their 30s and they're not getting the return that they want.
Speaker A:Right.
Speaker A:Or they get to their 40s, not getting the return that they want.
Speaker A:Other women, if they go, I want family and kids by this age, etc, they go, yeah, I could go and party hard.
Speaker A:I could go and get all this attention from these superstar guys and indulge in that and experience that.
Speaker A:Or I can choose to try and find the kind of man that I.
Speaker B:Want and maybe there's a balance and invest.
Speaker A:Do you know what I mean?
Speaker A:And, yeah, there's no right or wrong, but just understand what comes with the path that you want to choose.
Speaker A:And guys have to make that decision too, you know?
Speaker A:Like, it's funny because it's always.
Speaker A:It's like when guys peak too soon, they peak in school.
Speaker A:So you're near like the guy who, like every girl wants in school.
Speaker B:Well, I had someone on the podcast who was in a band and he was talking about.
Speaker B:He used the phrase of how he feel like his life went in reverse, of he became a young man with loads of female attention and then watched it dwindle away as his career sort of evaporated and his.
Speaker B:And he got A bit older and I thought that was, just relates to what you were saying.
Speaker B:But anyway, carry on.
Speaker A:Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Speaker A:So I think there are some guys who, they were the hot shot when they were really young and because they never had to.
Speaker A:Because thing is, the things that women find attractive when we're young and in school, it changes as you get older.
Speaker A:So like you can't just have six pack abs at 32 years old as a grown man and not have anything else going on for you because women will look at you sideways, be like, what have you been doing all this time?
Speaker A:Do you know what I mean?
Speaker A:Like what you've been doing.
Speaker A:It's like, yeah, I'm a, you know, I've been a musician for the past, but I still live in my father's basement.
Speaker A:It's like, okay, cool, that's, that's cool.
Speaker A:But like when she's looking at a long term partner for stability, you're not the guy she's going to choose that with.
Speaker A:Do you know what I mean?
Speaker A:So there are some guys who peak too soon.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker A:Kind of the same way as in, they didn't really have to earn it.
Speaker B:No.
Speaker A:Do you know what I mean?
Speaker A:Like, maybe they're already very attractive.
Speaker A:Maybe they, you know, had some, you know, do you know what I mean?
Speaker A:Yeah, but, and it's funny because I, I was thinking, I was thinking the best position to be in as a guy, like at school is be in the.
Speaker B:What is it?
Speaker A:I honestly, I would say is like being, being near the top, but not being the top.
Speaker A:Okay, not being the top.
Speaker A:Because being near the top, you can still kind of have a good experience and have some kind of fun good experiences and opportunities.
Speaker A:But you will have drive to be, to get to the top.
Speaker A:And by the time you become an adult, that drive will carry you through and then before you know it, you are that guy.
Speaker A:Whereas if you start at the top, I've just seen it a lot.
Speaker A:It's like they just become complacent about things in life because, oh well, you know, I'm having fun.
Speaker A:Women are coming to me so nice.
Speaker A:And then they get to their 30s and they're like, oh, where's all of that gone?
Speaker A:Meanwhile, the guy that they were looking down on has become this tech wizard or whatever and now he's enjoying life later.
Speaker A:Do you know what I mean?
Speaker A:And that's again spending and investing.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker A:So I was thinking, like, I was thinking for my, for my son, I don't want him to be the hot shot at school.
Speaker A:I don't because he'll be.
Speaker A:He'll get spoiled and then he'll get lazy in life and then he'll lose in life.
Speaker A:Yeah, I want him to be, like, near the top, but I don't want him to get there.
Speaker B:Top 10, 5%.
Speaker A:Like, top 12%.
Speaker B:Top 12%.
Speaker A:Top 12%.
Speaker A:That's the high.
Speaker A:That's the highest he can go.
Speaker B:Kit Junior, you're going to be top 12%.
Speaker A:You could be top 12 point.
Speaker A:So top 12% getting knocked out.
Speaker A:Absolutely.
Speaker A:Absolutely not.
Speaker A:If you come to me like, yeah, all the women want me at school, and you're 16 years old.
Speaker A:Teachers, all the women, all the teachers.
Speaker A:If they all want you, I'm gonna give you a buzz car.
Speaker A:I'm gonna ruin that for you.
Speaker A:Right.
Speaker A:You're gonna.
Speaker A:I'm gonna instill that drive and ambition in you to get success.
Speaker B:I've been watching all your old podcasts, dad.
Speaker B:That's why I'm so successful.
Speaker A:I shouldn't have let him seen it.
Speaker A:Shouldn't have let him see that.
Speaker B:Yeah, I saw.
Speaker B:Where are we?
Speaker B:7:20.
Speaker B:We've got about seven more minutes, so no one else is going to knock on the door.
Speaker B:So we'll have a bit more time.
Speaker B:Why are women dating younger men?
Speaker B:Because I saw real about that.
Speaker B:It was really.
Speaker A:Yes, Good question.
Speaker A:Because how real do I go real?
Speaker A:Because the men around their age that they want are not giving them the emotional availability or commitment that they're actually looking for.
Speaker A:That's why.
Speaker A:That's the biggest reason.
Speaker B:Does it also validate that they're still youthful to some degree?
Speaker A:Well, because younger men will show a level of desire for them that maybe the men around their age don't.
Speaker A:Because a lot of women express.
Speaker A:The men around their age date younger women and the attractive, successful men around that and their age, that.
Speaker A:That's not uncommon.
Speaker A:It's quite common.
Speaker A:Right.
Speaker A:Like, I had someone on my show that the episode is going to come out in a few weeks, 36, successful, very attractive guy.
Speaker A:And he was just like, you know.
Speaker A:Yeah, he wouldn't date a woman over the age of 32.
Speaker A:Do you know what I mean?
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker A:Whereas as a younger guy, and I'm saying this because, you know, some of the women I've dated have been older than me before.
Speaker A:You know, half of them have been older than me before as a younger guy.
Speaker B:Which makes sense with you, though, maybe.
Speaker A:I can see I value emotional intelligence, maturity.
Speaker A:Do you know what I mean?
Speaker A:Like, half the men have been dated, have been younger, some have been older.
Speaker A:I Value emotional intelligence.
Speaker A:A lot.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker A:But like if you're a woman, if you're an attractive woman, you know, a 25 year old guy and you're 34 and you know you're attractive, he's still gonna try it with you.
Speaker A:Oh, she's attractive, cool.
Speaker A:But because you're older, there's a level of.
Speaker B:And he's an investment as well.
Speaker A:Say again?
Speaker B:He's an investment for her.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:Because in a few, well in a few years the 25 year old will be 29.
Speaker B:So he'll be like, yeah, 29.
Speaker B:So really good age.
Speaker B:And she'll be like 39.
Speaker B:So she'll feel like it will even validate her even further if she's still, if he's still with her at that point.
Speaker B:Because she'll be like, wow, I'm past it.
Speaker B:That's a horrible term.
Speaker B:I take that back.
Speaker B:Wow.
Speaker B:I'm not 22 anymore or whatever, but I'm still with a man who, that.
Speaker B:Who sees me a specific way and is.
Speaker B:Has a higher smv than.
Speaker B:Than, than me.
Speaker B:Do you understand what I mean?
Speaker A:I, I do know what you mean.
Speaker A:And that can, that can happen.
Speaker A:I just want to say as well, like, it's not that old women don't get attention.
Speaker A:They do.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker A:But they just don't get the level of intention from the men that they say that they want a lot of the time.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker A:When they, a lot of women around that age, that's what they're finding.
Speaker A:So like a younger guy is gonna admire her and have a lot stronger intention, especially because she's older.
Speaker A:He, he feels like he has to show up in a certain way because she's older, which is what she's actually looking for.
Speaker B:Is it the novelty of the age difference as well?
Speaker B:Is that what you mean when he's going to show up more?
Speaker A:Well, what I mean is that he can't because he really sees it like, oh, he's dealing with a woman, not a girl.
Speaker A:He can't be like, oh, I'm just not going to respond.
Speaker A:Or if I want to see her again, I really have to make sure that I wear something decent.
Speaker A:I want to try and impress her.
Speaker A:Right.
Speaker A:Because she's an older woman so it's going to take more to impress her than a younger woman.
Speaker A:That's what how guys see it.
Speaker A:Yeah.
Speaker A:But I'm also going to be honest in terms of, you know, a lot of time guys will see it as like maybe a cougar experience.
Speaker A:Sometimes that happens.
Speaker B:Cougar experience.
Speaker A:It's true.
Speaker A:Right.
Speaker A:That's, that's, that's, that's why the term cougar is there.
Speaker A:It's true.
Speaker A:But also as well, it can be where, and I put this, it can be where, oh, I can have experiences with this person.
Speaker A:But if this person wants kids very soon, then obviously that's nine times a ten.
Speaker A:That's not going to work because he's not at that stage in life.
Speaker A:So.
Speaker A:Do you know what I mean?
Speaker A:Yeah, it happens and it's fun because one of you know, I don't mind showing this.
Speaker A:One of my relationships that I've had.
Speaker A:She was nine years older than me.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker A:Do you know what I mean?
Speaker A:And we're together for a couple of years and the main reason we broke up was cuz she really wanted to have kids there and then.
Speaker A:And I wasn't, I was in my early to mid-20s.
Speaker A:I was not, I was in my early 20s.
Speaker A:So I wasn't at that stage where I'm like, yeah, I still lived at home, my career had just started so I just wasn't in that head space.
Speaker A:And I was like, okay, well if that's what you want.
Speaker A:Like I'm not looking to do that for at least another five years.
Speaker A:So you need to be with someone who wants that too, you know.
Speaker A:And that was like she was, you know, almost 10 years older than me but like we talked about our futures together, you know, it was very, very much taken that seriously.
Speaker A:So.
