Jon is based on the island on Kauai (Hawaii, USA) who writes on politics, nature, and indigenous issues in the Asia and Pacific region for international newspapers and magazines such as The Guardian, Al Jareeza, National Geographic, the Diplomat, InkStick Media, and Truthout.
