Martin:

Ego net cost.

Martin:

Welcome to Ego Net cost live stream.

Martin:

My name is Martin Lindskog.

Martin:

I am Martin Lindeskog.

Martin:

And this will be try to be a short and sweet session.

Martin:

And then it will be edited and become episode 134 134 of Eco Net Cost podcast.

Martin:

I will take a sip of tea here.

Martin:

Cheers.

Martin:

It's 07:00 a.m. in the morning here, central european time Friday, and it's around 10:00

Martin:

p.m. pacific time in California in United States of America.

Martin:

And that's why I have this thing about Tor and Torsta still first day in America.

Martin:

And I will ventilate a bit with Thor's hammer, Mjolnir.

Martin:

And I have a note card here.

Martin:

I'm showing that now on the live video on the

Martin:

camera.

Martin:

We'll include that in the show notes.

Martin:

Also a model notecard.

Martin:

So the title is Pravda and propaganda tv.

Martin:

And I did a reel on Instagram and played the music called Doctor Mabuse by the group, synth

Martin:

pop group, synth wave group propaganda from Germany.

Martin:

So this play with words and music, and Doctor Mabus was a character in Fritz Lang's movies,

Martin:

and Pravda is truth in Russian.

Martin:

And it was a communist state owned bulletin

Martin:

newspaper in Soviet Union.

Martin:

And recently it came out some news that I will

Martin:

talk about here and the caricature when you see on the reels.

Martin:

And I will to Instagram photo also with notes and the notecard.

Martin:

It's a character caricature of me with a cap that I'm wearing here now on the live and my

Martin:

face that young cox, a fine artist and cartoonist, have captured so well.

Martin:

And it was funny when we're doing this as a, like a profile photo or caricature myself and

Martin:

then turned into the artwork, podcast artwork of ego Netcast with the radio and myself

Martin:

holding the radio as a caricature.

Martin:

Then it was spelled ego Costnet.

Martin:

And I saw that later on, so.

Martin:

But still keeping this because you.

Martin:

Yeah, it's a nice work of art and process and progress of developing an artwork and podcast

Martin:

artwork.

Martin:

So I wanted to include that.

Martin:

And you could cast the net.

Martin:

The word net cost is coming from the word

Martin:

broadcast.

Martin:

And we'll talk about tv now and radio and

Martin:

podcasting.

Martin:

So the broadcast to the masses or to big

Martin:

public.

Martin:

And you could call maybe my podcast as a

Martin:

narrow, niched media.

Martin:

So. And then you have a pod cast the capsule.

Martin:

So it's interesting with that word casting.

Martin:

So, in the news company outfit in Tennessee

Martin:

called Tenethenne, t e n e t Media has been in the news.

Martin:

And I've been wondering about that when you go to that site and I will include that in the

Martin:

show notes.

Martin:

So you could make up your own mind, read the

Martin:

text and the description, how they use words and how we describe their service.

Martin:

And then they have some, I think it's six individuals that they are promoting that have

Martin:

their own often podcast or tv show.

Martin:

They're active on social media and they are

Martin:

leaning, you could say to the right and some are conservatives.

Martin:

One that I like here that I had here on my notecard is Dave Rubin.

Martin:

That was very rational in the past and had interesting intuse.

Martin:

Now you could wonder a bit.

Martin:

He has now said that he is hopefully I think

Martin:

religious and christian.

Martin:

Back in the day he was more open to rational

Martin:

ideas and secular individual.

Martin:

And then another character called Team Pool,

Martin:

he doesn't have a cap, he often has hat on himself.

Martin:

There have been rumors now and it has been, you could say a lawsuit.

Martin:

I think about how this operation is financed and who's behind it.

Martin:

If you go to that site, Tenet Media, again check out about company or contact persons or

Martin:

pictures of the people behind this media company, could you find any and again read the

Martin:

text and make up your mind about the style and so on.

Martin:

So I wonder about that.

Martin:

And so I will include an article in the show

Martin:

notes to the Wired magazine.

Martin:

Talk about this, how the support of these

Martin:

individuals, I think it's six individuals have been a huge sum of money coming from ten media

Martin:

to these to publish stuff.

Martin:

And that's in a way is nothing wrong with that

Martin:

or strange if you have like an agreement or contract or whatnot.

Martin:

The thing is, who is behind this tenant media company?

Martin:

And you read that in the Wired magazine and then it's this lawsuit, they don't mention

Martin:

Tenet Media, but they talk about how these individuals could be influenced by an outlet

Martin:

called Russia today RT, they have two letters, r and t, black letters and a green background.

Martin:

And maybe you have seen that on YouTube and other places.

Martin:

I remember I could say that as a footnote.

Martin:

I saw a video there by RT about bartering

Martin:

system in farmers and cattles and whatnot with silver.

Martin:

And that I thought was pretty interesting in Texas.

Martin:

But you should note that this is controlled by russian state.

Martin:

And that's why I said this in the title propaganda tv and also used the word pravda,

Martin:

the truth, the former propaganda bulletin from the Soviet Union.

Martin:

And now today we have Russia today that pour in lots of money, funnel it through a media

Martin:

company in Tennessee.

Martin:

And then how will the independent mind, beware

Martin:

of these six individuals.

Martin:

That's a question to ask.

Martin:

They have done statements by themselves.

Martin:

And again, you make up your own mind if they

Martin:

are forced to say certain things about Russia or nothing topics coming up or if they are

Martin:

independent voices.

Martin:

And again, who is behind the, who is behind

Martin:

that media company? That could be interesting.

Martin:

And what's the purpose and what's their intention and the goal that you could ask.

Martin:

And I want to also make a note here about this guy, Tucker Carlson, what was at Fox News and

Martin:

now he has his own show and he recently went to Russia and had a so called interview with

Martin:

Putin.

Martin:

Maybe this now could be something to think

Martin:

about.

Martin:

How about have been arranged?

Martin:

And I know friend and also talking about cartoonists, Bosch Fostin, he did a post there

Martin:

about Tucker Carlson's mail bag as he called it.

Martin:

And yeah, what's going on there.

Martin:

So something to look into in the future.

Martin:

And again, when I have this and I will take another sip of tea, cheers that I could ramble

Martin:

on, but I will try to make it short and sweet and I will come to that also why I doing that?

Martin:

And I will see here it's live on YouTube, Facebook and hopefully also on LinkedIn.

Martin:

And I will end here on what you could think about that when now you could be critical to

Martin:

this media company and have question about these individuals and what kind of content

Martin:

they are creating and publishing if they get this huge amount of money that are funneled in

Martin:

one way or another through russian propaganda machine.

Martin:

But with that said, how are the media landscape nowadays in for example, Sweden, the

Martin:

main outlet here is called Swaris radio and Swarius television.

Martin:

So that's the swedish radio and swedish television and that's public service tv.

Martin:

And the thing with that is that is taxed, financed by taxes, swedish citizens directly.

Martin:

You can't pick, choose, decide yourself.

Martin:

You have to support it by taxes.

Martin:

And their reasoning for that is that I have an out of air quotes, objective or independent or

Martin:

neutral tv and radio.

Martin:

And that you could figure about and think

Martin:

about and think about if it's state owned, state financed by taxes.

Martin:

And if you look at the leadership and management that you could think about that, I

Martin:

will include that and see if I could find anything in English.

Martin:

But look at for example, the chairman and his party book, as I say, his interest and

Martin:

whatnot.

Martin:

I want to end on a happy note or positive note

Martin:

and say that like the characters and the satire and the hum humorist and parody and

Martin:

stand up comedy where I see alternative in a positive way to a state owned controlled

Martin:

media, the left leaning in this in the case here in Sweden.

Martin:

So with that said, I want to do a short comment also on the schedule.

Martin:

As I said now this is pretty early in the morning for me.

Martin:

I want to do this because it's still 10:00 p.m. around that in California time or left

Martin:

coast time to joke to be tours day and I will see here how I do that in the future.

Martin:

I want to do three times a week doing some kind of live here on as I said using

Martin:

Boomcaster that will be I will edit it and doing a podcast episode 134 of ego net cost

Martin:

going out to YouTube, Facebook and LinkedIn and when I started boomcast here I saw some

Martin:

other thing that you could do.

Martin:

Disputed it or like a destination.

Martin:

I have to check what that was.

Martin:

I will talk to my contact varietal.

Martin:

That's interesting.

Martin:

So thinking of doing that here on Thursdays

Martin:

american time, then Friday morning here and then on Tuesday Tuesday tick with tea.

Martin:

Also drinking tea at the same time.

Martin:

That will also be then the next day in swedish

Martin:

time on Wednesday morning and then during a Saturday Siesta again american time.

Martin:

That will be in the afternoon, then California time or Pacific time and it will be around

Martin:

midnight swedish time going in the weekend to Sunday there.

Martin:

So we'll see how that will play out.

Martin:

And I don't have support and I don't want to

Martin:

have that from the Russia russian state owned companies.

Martin:

I want to have it voluntarily by individuals.

Martin:

So I will include in the show notes also how

Martin:

you could support me for example captivate that.

Martin:

I have my podcast here, ego Netcast.

Martin:

They have a nice feature with a support page

Martin:

that you could send a donation that goes through stripe.

Martin:

So I will include that in the show notes support page if you want to support my work

Martin:

and I will again on Tea Party media podcast I will continue to talk about value for value.

Martin:

So with that said, I will take another sip here of tea and talk to you soon again.

Martin:

Cheers.

Martin:

Bye for now.
