Recorded live at CPE Summer 2026 in St. Charles, Missouri, TS Wright welcomes author, television personality, and filmmaker Julie Castro to Kingdom Cross Roads Podcast.
Julie shares the story behind her book, On Earth as It Is in Heaven: A Personal Allegory, and explains how a painful season involving divorce, rejection, waiting, and spiritual healing became part of a much larger journey with God. What began as a personal testimony eventually helped prepare her for television production and, ultimately, producing a movie.
At the heart of Julie’s testimony is a simple principle: say yes to God.
Julie discusses what it means to follow the leading of the Holy Spirit when you cannot see where the journey will take you. She describes how God used seemingly disconnected seasons of her life—writing, healing, television, and filmmaking—“line upon line, precept upon precept” to prepare her for what came next.
TS and Julie also explore the importance of waiting on God, recognizing His voice, obeying even when His direction seems unusual, and understanding that the ultimate purpose of the believer’s life is to glorify God.
