real life tips that you can use today

8
:Why?
9
:So you can monetize your expertise
and serve more people without adding
10
:more time or team to your business.
11
:If you're looking to uncover your million
dollar framework, package it and use
12
:it to scale, you're in the right place.
13
:Let's dive in.
14
:Welcome to today's episode.
15
:I am thrilled that
you're joining me today.
16
:Hey, in this episode, I want to
break down an example of the INFINITE
17
:SCALE delivery method so you can
see what this looks like in action.
18
:So one example I always use all
the time when I'm talking to
19
:my clients is Donald Miller.
20
:If you haven't heard of Donald Miller,
he is the author of several business
21
:and marketing books but his best
known one is called StoryBrand and
22
:StoryBrand is the the framework that
helps someone, you know, move into
23
:how do you tell a story and become
the guide for your customer and how,
24
:how you go through that whole process.
25
:So anyway, it's a great book.
26
:Go and check it out if you don't have it
because it is definitely worth the read.
27
:He also has a bunch of other
books as well, but this is one
28
:specifically I want to talk about.
29
:And I want to talk about the fact
that Donald Miller has become an
30
:expert in, in the concept of the
StoryBrand framework, of course,
31
:because it's his framework, right?
32
:He owns it.
33
:It's his authority model.
34
:But also it's elevated his status in the
business coaching and marketing realms
35
:as well because he has a methodology
that is his own that he helps other
36
:people not only learn from him but
become certified story brand experts.
37
:So that's the sort of the dimension
of what I want to talk about today.
38
:So what's interesting about this is that
he actually didn't start with the book.
39
:He started by, he created his StoryBrand
framework and then he did live
40
:workshops and these live workshops
he would have people come to him.
41
:He would have an interactive workshop
where he taught them how to apply the
42
:StoryBrand to their messaging, to their
website, to their marketing, whatever
43
:else it is that they were applying for it.
44
:So they come to this live workshop
and he was able to do these workshops
45
:for quite some time and then from
that he created the book and then he
46
:went on to create additional delivery
methods just using his StoryBrand
47
:framework before he went off and did
all the other things that he was doing.
48
:And I think that that's a really
key piece of this is one he
49
:created his authority model.
50
:He tested it with live people,
and then he is like, oh, I
51
:think I have something here.
52
:I am going to now go and distribute
that methodology on a wider platform.
53
:So he has the book where he
has do-it-yourself resources.
54
:So if you are somebody who wants to
just come in, learn the model and apply
55
:it to your own business, that is a
the book is a great option for that.
56
:He also has online workshops, right?
57
:So self-paced online workshops.
58
:He still has those in person live
workshops that he was doing before
59
:he wrote the book, but he also has
a couple of other options and that's
60
:what I want to talk about today.
61
:One is he has a certification program
and this certification program certifies
62
:people to be story brand framework experts
so they can use it in their business,
63
:they can use it with their clients.
64
:Or they can take it and and
start to expand it on their own.
65
:And so, so the certification is
just that extra layer of visibility
66
:that allows other people to go
and and train on his behalf.
67
:So he's sort of cloning himself
through having certified partners.
68
:So you can become a certified
guide, use it in your business,
69
:and help your customers.
70
:He also has something called certified
agencies, which means that you can
71
:take the approach, become a certified
StoryBrand agency, and deliver customized
72
:services to your whole client base.
73
:And and so like, he's taken this one
framework and created six different
74
:income sources, six different
delivery options that help people
75
:interact with StoryBrand, you know
in in totally different ways, right?
76
:If you're an individual you could read the
book, you could take the online training.
77
:You can join the monthly membership where
you're getting kind of dripped content.
78
:You can become certified as a coach
or an expert that's helping, you
79
:know, with the certified with a story
brand framework to your clients, or
80
:you can become an agency where you're
able to do it sort of at scale.
81
:And he's done that just by
packaging his framework.
82
:So there's so much power when
you find your framework, when
83
:you're able to start leading from
like, what are the steps, right?
84
:When you look at your ideal customer
and you're like, okay, so that this
85
:customer has a problem and they're
looking for this result, and my framework
86
:provides the bridge for that right,
the fastest path from point A to Point
87
:B, and then the power of what you can
do with just one framework, allows you
88
:to take your framework and monetize
it in a bunch of different ways.
89
:And so I love the Donald Miller
example just because I think that it
90
:is it's something that you can kind
of see what the end game is, right?
91
:He's, he's already at the end
game in terms of being able to
92
:take his framework and scale it.
93
:For you, you may be kind of in
the, the infancy of that, right?
94
:Like you may have a framework, you may
not, but you may have a framework and
95
:you're like, what do I do with this?
96
:Right.
97
:How do I start to create a business
around my proprietary intellectual
98
:property, my proprietary framework.
99
:How do I create a business around it?
100
:And I think that that looking
at the Donald Miller example is
101
:such a powerful way to do that.
102
:So again, there's a
StoyrBrand certification.
103
:There's an in person live workshop.
104
:There's an online workshop, which
is sort of self paced, on demand
105
:training that is available for people.
106
:A monthly membership where people can
come in and interact with the curriculum,
107
:interact with the community, interact
with probably Donald Miller and his team.
108
:There's the book, which has do it
yourself resources for somebody who's
109
:just sort of learning what it looks like.
110
:And then there's like a Full service
marketing agency certification that
111
:really allows that individual to take
it to a completely different level
112
:with a whole different level of support
and resources that are available
113
:from Donald Miller, and his team.
114
:So again, just a super simple example
of how you can take your framework
115
:and deliver it across multiple
modalities to start earning income.
116
:One of my favorite quotes from Russell
Brunson, and I don't know if he came up
117
:with this or not, but It is something
that I heard him say is that people
118
:will pay to consume the same information
in a number of different ways.
119
:And this is a great example of that
is you can have the book and then
120
:want to go a little bit deeper and,
you know, go to the live workshop
121
:or become a certified guide, right?
122
:If you're really passionate about his
framework and helping other people
123
:with it, then it becomes a tool in your
toolkit that you can use to help others,
124
:or you can build an entire business
around Donald Miller's framework.
125
:So there you go.
126
:That is a tactical example of
the power of finding your own
127
:framework and really being able
to lead with that authority model.
128
:You don't question Donald Miller
and his StoryBrand framework, right?
129
:You don't go, I'm not sure
he's the expert at this.
130
:No, you know that he's the
expert because he's the one
131
:who's leading from his framework.
132
:So it's same with you.
133
:When you come up with your framework,
that's how you're going to lead
134
:forward, and help your customers and
then have your customers help their
135
:customers in a certification program.
136
:And and it's just a great, super
sort of clean example of the
137
:power of finding your framework.
138
:So there you go.
139
:If you're looking to find your
framework and uncover it so that you
140
:can also do something like this in
terms of not only simplifying your
141
:business model, But also being able
to blow it up, then let me know.
142
:In the show notes, there's a way
for you to jump on my calendar.
143
:If you want to talk about how you
can turn your framework or your
144
:expertise into a scalable business
model like this, give me a shout.
145
:This is what we do every single
day and I would love to help you.
146
:So in the meantime, Go
check out StoryBrand.
147
:Go on Donald Miller's site and just look
at, from a StoryBrand perspective what he
148
:has been able to do with his framework.
149
:Then, if you want extra credit, you can go
out and look at, like, he has been able to
150
:duplicate this model a couple of different
times with different frameworks, right?
151
:So he's not necessarily like
creating an entirely new business,
152
:but he's taking a new framework
and doing the exact same process.
153
:And, and so look at that because
that is also a really powerful lesson
154
:is don't reinvent the wheel, right?
155
:Go with what's working.
156
:And move forward that way, so you're
scaling exponentially with different
157
:parts and pieces of the problem
that your customer has and building
158
:your different delivery methods.
159
:So, all right, until next time.
