True Christ-like humility begins with acknowledging Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior.   We are called to submit to the control, authority, and rulership of Jesus Christ. He is our Sovereign God. He is in control.

True Christ-like humility values others above ourselves. We must learn to make room for the gifts, abilities, and talents of other people. We must develop respect and appreciation for our leaders and for what others do.

When we walk in humility, we are genuinely concerned for one another.  We are all part of one body. We are all members of the family of God.  When we love and serve God, we have a genuine concern for others.

 We must have a Christ-like mindset of selfless humility.  We are to have the same mind and frame of thinking as Jesus Christ. We must get our minds right. Jesus Christ is our supreme example and model.
