Transcripts

Melissa:

Okay. Alright. So with that, it is your turn, my friend.

Antonella:

Hi, Melissa. Hi, I I feel we're getting almost like too much of a good thing this week because I was able to ask you question yesterday, and and that was super helpful. And, but I thought maybe since I have this time, I could get a second pair of eyes on my content and get your feedback on it. I guess that's always, like, the the best thing for me.

Melissa:

Sure. Absolutely. I think you can share your screen.

Antonella:

Mhmm.

Melissa:

Yeah.

Antonella:

I know the content is really basically the crux of everything we're doing, so I want

Melissa:

Yeah. Okay. So

Antonella:

this is my latest post, and, I don't know if you wanna know my content pillars or what, you know, kind of structure I have, if that's helpful, or or we can just look at it.

Melissa:

Okay. Let's see. You are late for your 10 AM meeting because you're stuck in the bathroom. Will this ever stop? It doesn't have to be this way. Here are 5 things you can do. You can start implementing today. Okay. Let me see what they are.

Melissa:

Can you scroll through? Learn 5 ways. Okay. Wait. Go back to the very beginning. One more. Go back to the very, very beginning. Five tips to manage IBS. Okay.

Melissa:

And then go to the next one. Learn 5 ways to control user. Okay. So so my first piece of feedback is that these two slides are a little bit redundant.

Antonella:

Mhmm.

Melissa:

ion span is, like, death by a:

Antonella:

I could have just taken this one out completely. Yeah.

Melissa:

Yeah. Makes sense?

Antonella:

Yeah. For sure. And just start like this.

Melissa:

Yes. There we go. Okay. Limit caffeine and alcohol.

Melissa:

They are gut irritants. Okay. Yep. Avoid sugar free or diet. Yep. Okay. Reduce high fat meals. No more French fries.

Melissa:

I love French fries and guacamole. Okay. Keep going. Limit lactose intake. Okay. Identify your triggers. Okay. Tired of running to the bathroom.

Melissa:

If you want a science back to permanent solution, let's chat.

Melissa:

Okay. Awesome. You've so you've got the call to action, and then the link is in the comment section. Okay. Perfect. That's, I mean, that's everything you want in a, you know, a carousel.

Antonella:

Good. Good.

Melissa:

Yep. Okay. You're scrolling on Instagram during lunch break at work and see another ad for someone that promised.

Melissa:

Okay. Click on the more button.

Melissa:

Okay. Solution. Okay. Alright. The quick fix is in cookie cutter, so send me a DM. Can help. You know, let me print my resume.

Melissa:

Okay. Yep. So you've got the call to action. Scroll back up to the carousel again really quick. Click on the oh, okay. You're late. The only thing I would maybe encourage you to do with this one and the other one is include a couple more, like, eye catching emojis. Right? So, like, you could even put, like, a clock right here, like, right before the you're late.

Melissa:

ht? Like, you're late for the:

Antonella:

Oh, on the in the text here. Yeah. Yeah. Okay.

Melissa:

And because it's because it's such few text, like, I would even break it up so that there's more white space. Like, like, move the will it ever stop to the next line and maybe even put a stop sign there. Right? Like, just ways, like, we're so are we're so inclined. It's easier to read when there's more white space and it's broken up, and I can kinda skim it.

Antonella:

Mhmm. Mhmm. Even because this one is just a hook, and I wanted to make sure it was visible

Melissa:

Uh-huh.

Antonella:

So people would actually be encouraged to click on the on the on the carousel.

Melissa:

Right. Right. Right. Right. Yeah. I see what you're saying. So you're saying if you break it up, then

Antonella:

Whereas here here I break it up. I know how to because otherwise, you know, it's so hard to read. But here, I thought I I wanted to maximize the three lines.

Melissa:

Yeah. Yep. I gotcha. Because after the three lines, you can't see it.

Antonella:

Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.

Melissa:

Yeah. So maybe just put a couple of emojis there.

Antonella:

Yeah. Okay. Good. Good.

Melissa:

Alright. And the same here. Like, I would put a lot

Antonella:

of text

Melissa:

yeah. Okay.

Melissa:

Yep. And, like, don't be afraid to be cheeky. Like, put a toilet on there. Isn't there a toilet emoji?

Antonella:

Yeah. Yeah. Oh, there's a poop emoji too. So Yeah.

Melissa:

I play with it. Like, people aren't used to seeing toilets and poop on LinkedIn, but it's very relevant to what you're doing. It you'll catch their attention. Right?

Antonella:

Okay. Okay.

Melissa:

Stop their scroll. Be like, why is there a poop emoji here? Right?

Antonella:

Yeah. Yeah. Okay. Yeah. Make it a little bit more lighthearted too.

Melissa:

Yeah. Okay. I love walking by the ocean and just more than a form of exercise. These are thing these things are important for everyone, but especially when you suffer from Venus. Okay. Let's see. I can tell my clients what will be helpful. Yep.

Melissa:

Alright. Awesome.

Antonella:

This is an article.

Melissa:

Okay.

Melissa:

Okay. And you shared that from your business page or oh, it's an article.

Antonella:

So first, I write the article, and then I share it here as a post.

Melissa:

Got it. Got it. Got it. Okay.

Melissa:

Awesome. Six steps to traveling. Awesome.

Antonella:

And this is another, like

Melissa:

Oh, yeah. Trust my gut. No thanks. I have IBS.

Antonella:

Yeah. Sometimes I have these really short quotes that

Melissa:

Yeah. No. I love that. I love that.

Antonella:

Then I have, like, a longer you know?

Melissa:

Okay. Yeah. Click on the comments and download this free.

Melissa:

Okay. Perfect. Yeah. These are I mean, these look great. How how are, how was your engagement and your analytics? Like, how are your impressions going?

Antonella:

It's, so the impressions have been going up, like, on a weekly basis. I went from, like they more than double over the 4 weeks. Yay. Engagement is really still very low. Yeah. So started networking. So

Melissa:

This is a great example for everybody to see that, obviously, with such a sensitive topic, I'm not surprised that engagement is not high, but you've you've seen a double in your impressions. Right? Yeah. So continue to use impressions as, like, your leading indicator.

Antonella:

Okay.

Melissa:

And, you know, I think that as you continue to grow your followers and your network, you're gonna get into more and more conversations in the DMs. Right? So it's just a matter of continuing that strategic network growth, and you're gonna continue to see the growth in your impressions by growing your audience. Does that make sense?

Antonella:

Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. That that's good to know. Mhmm. Yeah. I'm not discouraged yet. So and here, I I I did a podcast recently, so I thought that'd be nice to just

Melissa:

put in here.

Antonella:

Yeah. I've actually done a lot of podcast last year, so I have a good library. But I was wondering if it's, like, not this was only last month, but if they're too old, should I not talk about

Melissa:

arder, who gets, like, half a:

Antonella:

Okay. Good. Good to know because that that gives me a little more, yeah, more content. Yeah. So that's the same article. That that's because when you publish the article, the article appears, and then then we need to post it. So Mhmm. And this is my Perfect.

Antonella:

Success story.

Melissa:

Yes.

Antonella:

So here, I just have the free lines, and then the content is all here, basically.

Melissa:

Yeah.

Melissa:

Yeah. I think your content is great. I think it's dead on as a thought leader and value add. Now it's just about strategically continuing to grow the network.

Antonella:

Network. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yep. And as far as the CTA, is it okay to just I basically alternate the lead magnet, book a call, send a DM because I never know what where people where the level of, you know, confidence is and what the next step is. And Yep.

Melissa:

Yeah. You just continue to vary it, and we do that to this day. Like, just continue to vary how they circle back

Melissa:

to you and connect with you.

Melissa:

So Awesome.

Antonella:

Alright. Thank you so much, Vanessa.

Melissa:

You're so welcome. Alright.
