A native West Philadelphian, Alletta Parris-Olday is an entrepreneur with aspirations to educate the community through financial literacy. A community and civic minded individual, a committee person for the 44th Ward, Member of the African Episcopal Church of ST. Thomas, Secretary of the 60th Street West Market Street Business Association, member of Weekend of Peace, Facilitator for CLUES (Communities Learning through Urban Education and Science) and City Skies (facilitating urban astronomy with the Franklin Institute)
