Welcome to the Soulful Paws Minute, a part of the Cat Dad Show. My name is Scott Colby, and as we know, losing a beloved pet can bring immense pain, and you may be going through the very hardest experience that you're ever going to face. Today, we're going to offer some gentle affirmations to help you embrace this pain as a natural part of your healing journey.
Just remember, it's okay to feel deeply. Whatever you're feeling is your journey, and it's completely normal. And it's important to give yourself the compassion you need during this difficult time. I'm going to say five affirmations. You can feel free to repeat them silently or Let's begin. I acknowledge the deep pain of losing my pet, understanding that this pain is a reflection of the love we shared.
It's okay to feel overwhelmed by the loss. I give myself permission to grieve fully without judgment. I
honor my pain, knowing it is a necessary part of healing and recovery. and a testament to the bond I had with my pet.
I am gentle with myself, allowing the pain to come and go as it needs to, trusting that over time, healing will follow.
In the midst of my sorrow, I remind myself that it's okay to seek comfort and support. I am not alone in this journey.
