Solomon. Ec 4:9–10. Hi, it’s Nathan, and this is Day 14 of 30 Days to a Better Marriage. “Two are better than one.” This is one of the incredible advantages of marriage—and one we sometimes lose sight of in the muddle that can become everyday life. Two heads. An extra pair of eyes. A second heart. More hands. When we approach life capitalizing on the power of two, we can experience huge advantages. Unfortunately, too many marriages suffer the married-singles-syndrome—competing with each other for the upper hand, vying for attention, sparing for control—in the process eroding their chief asset: there are TWO of them. How short-sighted. How very self-absorbed. How wildly foolish.
