Dr. Ray Aldred, a leading Indigenous theologian, and the director of the Indigenous Studies Program at the Vancouver School of Theology, sits down with Tim & Wendi to discuss the impact of colonization on Indigenous societies and their relationship with the land. He emphasizes the potential for the Bible to be a tool for reconciliation and decolonization, but highlights the importance of listening to Indigenous voices and perspectives. Dr. Aldred also stresses the need for cultural revitalization and the reclamation of Indigenous languages, traditions, and spiritual practices.
