Speaker B:

Is that you?

Speaker A:

Look at you.

Speaker A:

You figured it out.

Speaker C:

Hey, I'm basically Jason Born now.

Speaker B:

At least I'm not the only one that.

Speaker B:

It took me like an hour to get it to work.

Speaker C:

Yeah, it wouldn't.

Speaker C:

Something from the link wasn't copying right.

Speaker C:

I had to copy it.

Speaker C:

Went back and copied it from the email again and got on.

Speaker B:

I had to download a whole separate app just to use Chrome.

Speaker C:

Oh, that's weird.

Speaker C:

Well, my phone wouldn't let me use Chrome.

Speaker C:

It says Restream has to use Safari on this.

Speaker B:

Yeah, I had it.

Speaker B:

I had a download app that'll let me use other browsers.

Speaker B:

Otherwise it wouldn't.

Speaker B:

It wouldn't.

Speaker A:

Yeah, it's.

Speaker B:

Let me download it.

Speaker A:

It's good.

Speaker C:

Can you hear me good?

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

Yeah, you're good.

Speaker A:

Sweet.

Speaker C:

What's up, fellas?

Speaker A:

Not much.

Speaker A:

What's going on?

Speaker C:

Chilling, man.

Speaker A:

How you guys doing?

Speaker C:

I'm doing good.

Speaker C:

I'm pregaming for the rest of the evening.

Speaker A:

You're pregaming?

Speaker A:

Is that what you said?

Speaker C:

Oh, yeah.

Speaker A:

Where's the game at?

Speaker C:

Wherever I end up.

Speaker A:

Oh, okay.

Speaker A:

Face down.

Speaker A:

Face down somewhere.

Speaker C:

Probably face down in a ditch.

Speaker B:

I got a box truck you can come work out if you're bored.

Speaker C:

Not that bored.

Speaker A:

Yeah, right.

Speaker B:

It was fun when I started.

Speaker B:

It's not fun anymore.

Speaker C:

They're all fun when they restart them, aren't they?

Speaker A:

Yeah, yeah.

Speaker A:

It's the way it always works.

Speaker A:

You get excited for it in about.

Speaker C:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

Ten minutes in, you're like, why did I do this?

Speaker B:

This is gonna be oxidized.

Speaker C:

This is gonna be an awesome Project.

Speaker C:

And six hours later, you know what?

Speaker C:

This car and the person that brought us.

Speaker A:

Exactly.

Speaker B:

Do you ever feel like it's like taking you longer than it would take anybody else for some reason?

Speaker B:

Like, I'm like, I feel like everybody else would have had this done.

Speaker A:

Yeah, right?

Speaker C:

Oh, yeah.

Speaker C:

I still get that.

Speaker C:

After years into doing it, I'm still like, maybe I shouldn't be a detailer.

Speaker C:

Maybe I should quit.

Speaker B:

Every time, especially on rv.

Speaker B:

So what do I do?

Speaker B:

I take on more of them again.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

I haven't even started it yet and I regret it.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

I'm always the same way.

Speaker B:

And.

Speaker A:

And then I'm like, you know, I'm like, maybe I should like rain like you said.

Speaker A:

Right.

Speaker A:

Like, maybe I shouldn't be doing this anymore.

Speaker A:

Like.

Speaker C:

Right.

Speaker A:

Take me too long.

Speaker A:

And then I'm like, but I've been doing this for too long.

Speaker A:

What else am I gonna go do now, you know?

Speaker A:

Right.

Speaker B:

Exactly.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

McDonald's.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

All that.

Speaker A:

No way.

Speaker A:

So what's going on, guys?

Speaker A:

Like, I. I have no, I have nothing.

Speaker A:

I just wanted to get on and talk.

Speaker A:

I haven't done one of these in probably about a month, so figured time to do one.

Speaker C:

Just the usual for me.

Speaker C:

Been traveling all over the place.

Speaker C:

Came back from Florida on Wednesday.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker C:

And went out to birthday dinner for a friend last night and got two more birthday things tomorrow back here in Ohio.

Speaker C:

I told them they better appreciate my presence because I left 74 degrees for.

Speaker C:

It's like a 5 degree wind chill today.

Speaker B:

And it's terrible today here too.

Speaker B:

Awful.

Speaker B:

We were just talking about that before you came on.

Speaker B:

It is freezing.

Speaker C:

But y' all know my affinity for the small people.

Speaker A:

We do.

Speaker A:

So you gotta got a story to tell, bro.

Speaker A:

So let's go.

Speaker A:

Let's, let's, let's.

Speaker A:

I mean, it's not 9 o' clock yet, but who.

Speaker A:

Who cares?

Speaker A:

Let's go.

Speaker C:

It was like two days before I was going to leave to come up here.

Speaker C:

They.

Speaker C:

Well, ad pops up on my.

Speaker C:

On my newsfeed, on Facebook or Instagram.

Speaker C:

One of them said, micro matings coming to Pencil coming to Pensacola on Tuesday, December 16th.

Speaker C:

I was like, oh, I can't leave Tuesday.

Speaker C:

I have to extend another day.

Speaker C:

And I hit up a friend.

Speaker C:

I said, hey, man, are you going to this thing?

Speaker C:

He's like, dude, I already bought VIP tickets.

Speaker B:

The fact that popped up for you is it adjust is crazy enough, right?

Speaker A:

Is that the rest?

Speaker A:

Is that the wrestling thing?

Speaker C:

No, this wasn't wrestling thing.

Speaker C:

This was.

Speaker C:

These are dancers.

Speaker A:

Okay.

Speaker C:

They Put on, they put on a show.

Speaker A:

The only, the only reason my ass is was because about a, maybe month, month and a half ago, I had a client, he brought me his Gallardo and he just wanted, he wanted the interior done.

Speaker A:

He just had it like wrapped and like this.

Speaker A:

Like actually it was a pretty nice looking blue color, but he wanted the interior clean.

Speaker A:

And so dude gets to talking to me and he's like, you know, tells me he's, he's a dancer.

Speaker A:

He runs his own like dancing group or whatever.

Speaker A:

His own, his own magic mic or something like that.

Speaker A:

And then he goes, he also owns like the Micro Wrestlers or something like that.

Speaker A:

And so he said that I'm, I'm like, my brain immediately went to.

Speaker A:

Oh my God, Rain.

Speaker A:

Rain would love this.

Speaker A:

Rain would love this.

Speaker A:

Rain would love this.

Speaker C:

I've been to the, the wrestling before and it's, they put on a show.

Speaker C:

Dude, it was really.

Speaker A:

Yeah, so I, I just, I was, I was just wondering because he's, he's here in Florida.

Speaker A:

So that you said that was in Florida, so.

Speaker C:

Yeah, yeah, this is, These were.

Speaker C:

I mean, it wasn't like a full on strip show or nothing.

Speaker C:

Yeah, it's kind of like that.

Speaker C:

But it's like.

Speaker C:

What was wild was like people were shooting videos and taking pictures.

Speaker C:

You go into any like gentleman's club you do, you pull out a camera, they'll throw your ass out and beat the.

Speaker C:

Make you delete your entire phone.

Speaker C:

Like it's.

Speaker C:

Yeah, that's a hard no.

Speaker C:

And then they were like encouraging it.

Speaker C:

You know, people were tagging their friends and checking into the venue or whatever.

Speaker C:

And that part was wild and it was just, it was entertaining.

Speaker C:

I took a handful of edibles before I went in there and they hit like right in the middle of the show and they, they come out in different outfits and they do these different skits and bro, it was like watching the, it was like watching Willy Wonka in the Chocolate Factory.

Speaker C:

And I told one of my friends, I said, dude, I'm freaking out, man.

Speaker C:

This is like some Willy Wonka.

Speaker C:

None of this shit's real.

Speaker C:

As soon as I said that, my buddy Jay, he comes in and slides in.

Speaker C:

He's like, bro, I feel like I'm in a goddamn wizard of Oz movie.

Speaker C:

Well, I'm talking about.

Speaker C:

We had tears streaming down our face from laughing so far so much.

Speaker C:

And so the girls would all get up and do a little like coordinated dance and stuff.

Speaker C:

Then they'd have people that wanted to.

Speaker C:

You know, people are up there and throwing dollar Bills on the stage.

Speaker C:

And then they'd have a line of people that wanted a lap dance from one of the girls, and they'd go around and do that.

Speaker C:

Then they'd work the crowd and who wants to table dance?

Speaker C:

Hold up a 20 bill behind your friend's head if you want him to have a table dance.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker C:

So I found a chair by myself.

Speaker C:

I knew my friends weren't worth.

Speaker C:

And we're gonna set me up.

Speaker C:

And I didn't move far enough away fast enough.

Speaker C:

Next thing I know, this little two foot eight girl limbo's underneath my damn chair and climbs me like a tree and starts throwing it, filming my face.

Speaker C:

And, bro, it was freaking hilarious.

Speaker C:

I know my friends got videos of it, but obviously no one's gonna share that on Facebook and go to jail.

Speaker B:

But the wild part is that there's so many of them that they do these shows all the time.

Speaker C:

Oh, yeah?

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

Well, there's just no shortage.

Speaker B:

Okay.

Speaker B:

No pun intended.

Speaker A:

No short.

Speaker C:

No shortage.

Speaker C:

Nice.

Speaker C:

That's why I said I posted one of the pictures on Buddy took of the other girl standing up in my lap, and she's still not as amazing.

Speaker C:

That's like.

Speaker C:

It's kind of.

Speaker C:

It's kind of one of them.

Speaker C:

Don't meet your hero moments, like.

Speaker A:

Right, right.

Speaker C:

Don't.

Speaker C:

Don't live out some of your fantasies because they might freak you out.

Speaker C:

That's.

Speaker C:

That's where I was for a large part of the night, because they were.

Speaker C:

Jesus Christ.

Speaker A:

So.

Speaker A:

So all these years you've been talking about this and it finally happens to you and it.

Speaker A:

And it doesn't live up.

Speaker C:

Yeah, no, no, it's a.

Speaker C:

The itch has been scratched.

Speaker C:

I'm good.

Speaker B:

Maybe you need different edibles.

Speaker C:

Right?

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

Or.

Speaker A:

Or different strippers.

Speaker A:

I don't know.

Speaker C:

Yeah, well, that's the thing, too.

Speaker C:

I don't want to talk about people, but there's levels.

Speaker A:

They don't listen to this podcast, so it's fine.

Speaker C:

Well, someone will be offended no matter what.

Speaker C:

There was levels to everything.

Speaker C:

And they.

Speaker C:

On their website, they have like a.

Speaker C:

You know, pictures of like 10 or 12 of them.

Speaker C:

And I think it was five of them that were at the show last Tuesday night.

Speaker C:

And we didn't get the top five.

Speaker C:

You know what I'm saying?

Speaker C:

I'll just leave it at that.

Speaker C:

We didn't get the A team.

Speaker A:

They got you with the old bait and switch.

Speaker C:

A team goes to Miami or Orlando and they send.

Speaker C:

They send the B squad up to Pensacola in lower Alabama area, But still they Were.

Speaker C:

They were entertaining.

Speaker C:

They were.

Speaker C:

They were real cool.

Speaker C:

It was creative.

Speaker C:

Some of the stuff they were doing.

Speaker C:

The one that was giving me a dance, like they all came out in military uniforms and they had a dude up on stage doing push ups.

Speaker C:

And this chick is doing push ups except she's in a handstand, like doing dips with her body weight upside down.

Speaker C:

Like she's doing push ups straight up and down in the air.

Speaker C:

I was like, Jesus Christ.

Speaker C:

She's a little beast.

Speaker A:

Geez.

Speaker C:

So they're.

Speaker C:

They're at.

Speaker C:

They're athletes.

Speaker C:

They're.

Speaker B:

It's like, it's impressive.

Speaker B:

Your little bodyguard.

Speaker B:

Keep her in your backpack.

Speaker C:

Which made it.

Speaker C:

Which that probably made me.

Speaker C:

That's probably a little more scary too, when I've seen them doing I can't do.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

I could defy in gravity and.

Speaker C:

Right.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker C:

But now it was.

Speaker C:

It was a good time, was fun.

Speaker A:

Ah, that's cool.

Speaker A:

Well, sorry it didn't live up to the fantasy or the expectation.

Speaker A:

But.

Speaker A:

But hey, you know what?

Speaker A:

Like, now you just gotta strive to find the A team and.

Speaker C:

Right.

Speaker B:

Venture.

Speaker B:

See where you.

Speaker C:

Yeah, that's the thing.

Speaker C:

That's the thing.

Speaker C:

What's funny is like, I've never like really had this deep seated thing for midgets.

Speaker C:

Is someone.

Speaker C:

We were.

Speaker C:

I was in.

Speaker C:

as in Vegas for SEMA was like:

Speaker C:

I'm like, what are you gonna do, right?

Speaker C:

I said, I don't know, I'm gonna go downtown maybe.

Speaker C:

Maybe steal a midget or something.

Speaker C:

I don't know.

Speaker C:

We'll see.

Speaker C:

And then it just took off from there every 20%.

Speaker C:

Oh, yeah.

Speaker C:

Rain's got a thing for midgets, bro.

Speaker C:

I get memes, gifts, reels, all kinds of crazy every week from people that are like, we know you love midgets.

Speaker C:

I'm like, I really don't.

Speaker C:

But I'll just.

Speaker C:

If it pleases the Internet people, I'll run with it.

Speaker C:

I don't care.

Speaker A:

It's just.

Speaker A:

Just some dumb thing I said one time and.

Speaker C:

Right.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

Now everybody thinks you don't do rockers.

Speaker B:

I mean, you can hire to do your rockers.

Speaker A:

Exactly.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

It reminds me of that scene on Wolf of Wall street where they throw the.

Speaker B:

At the target.

Speaker B:

The Velcro target.

Speaker C:

That was awesome.

Speaker C:

Especially his when he's reading a little legal disclaimer what you can and cannot do.

Speaker C:

And it's a.

Speaker C:

That's a gray area, like lawn darts or something.

Speaker C:

I Was like, Jesus Christ.

Speaker C:

Yeah, that movie's great.

Speaker C:

That movie's goaded for sure.

Speaker A:

Nice.

Speaker A:

So how was Seam Brain?

Speaker A:

Because you guys didn't do a booth.

Speaker A:

So how was it just walking around this time?

Speaker C:

It was amazing.

Speaker C:

Liberating.

Speaker C:

Getting to go out and like walk all the other halls and.

Speaker B:

Talk to.

Speaker C:

People, engage with people.

Speaker C:

We had pretty, we, I think we had pretty productive.

Speaker C:

A lot of productive stuff came from it.

Speaker C:

Mostly from some stuff from the show, talking to people and some from like going to Rennie's party and Justin Day's party.

Speaker C:

Like we linked up with.

Speaker C:

We did a training last year with Daryl Wolf and he knew some people in Hawaii that were there at Rennie's party and he was talking to them and telling them, they say, yeah man, we need to do this.

Speaker C:

We need, we're looking for training, we're looking for that.

Speaker C:

We don't have nothing over here.

Speaker C:

Place is starving for it.

Speaker C:

And Daryl's like, hold on, I've been training with the Angel Wax guys, let me go talk to them.

Speaker C:

Then we went over and talked to the guy and long story short, we're going to, we're going to Hawaii and, and, and close to the end of May to do us.

Speaker C:

3 day mostly marine stuff is what they're looking for.

Speaker A:

But right.

Speaker C:

It was, the networking is still there.

Speaker C:

You know what I'm saying?

Speaker C:

It's that, that's the good, that was a good thing.

Speaker C:

And yeah, we chilled, we had, we had to cook out at Tommy's house.

Speaker C:

Invited some, some of the, some of the Angelx guys and some of the Detailer roundtable guys came out to Tommy's house.

Speaker C:

We cooked steaks.

Speaker C:

We had a blast, dude.

Speaker C:

It was pretty awesome.

Speaker A:

Yeah, I mean the last couple of years that we've, we've just kind of walked it, you know, with Aquatech and everything.

Speaker A:

It's.

Speaker A:

I mean you can get just as much, I mean, it, it having the booth, you know, people definitely know where to find you to come talk to you because that was, that was some of the things like we, we kind of just happened to like run into somebody to be like, oh, I've been looking all over for you guys.

Speaker A:

I couldn't find your booth.

Speaker A:

And we're like, yeah, we don't have booth.

Speaker A:

You know, we don't.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

And so like you kind of, you kind of luck into, you know, stumbling in the people.

Speaker A:

But no, it's cool, man.

Speaker A:

I'm glad you guys, glad you guys were able to do it.

Speaker A:

You guys aren't doing a booth at MT this year or next year, whatever.

Speaker C:

Well, that, you know, we weren't sure until like just in the past couple days whether Rick and Corolla were going to be even, even able to come over here at all.

Speaker C:

And I think by the time they found out that they could travel and come.

Speaker C:

Come over from, from the Netherlands, it was too late to get a, a boost space and.

Speaker A:

Okay.

Speaker C:

Because we've been kind of, kind of a reloading, rebooting year for us.

Speaker C:

We, like I said, we didn't do a booth at sema.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker C:

The ROI is not there on, on a big booth when you have a slow year.

Speaker C:

And we, yeah, we had a slow year and I think a lot of people did.

Speaker C:

Did.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

I mean it was really busy for like spring and summer and then like December hit and it just died.

Speaker B:

Like nothing.

Speaker B:

I mean, going out of my mind.

Speaker B:

I'm selling gift certificates, but nobody's coming in.

Speaker B:

Oh, that's why I'm doing all this random stuff I don't like doing.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

Just so I'm not sitting around.

Speaker C:

Yes.

Speaker A:

I don't know.

Speaker A:

I think, I think 60 rain on.

Speaker C:

A boost this year for no return.

Speaker A:

And you guys, you guys weren't the only ones though.

Speaker A:

I mean, there was a bunch of other people that either didn't do it or down, down skip, you know, downsize from what they normally do, it seems like.

Speaker A:

So.

Speaker A:

Yeah, because I talked to.

Speaker A:

Oh, I did.

Speaker A:

I did the road FS podcast like the week of sema.

Speaker C:

Okay.

Speaker A:

And you know, Rod and Jody were like, hey, you want to do this Thursday?

Speaker A:

I'm like, aren't you guys at sema?

Speaker A:

And they're like, no.

Speaker A:

And I'm like, what?

Speaker C:

Yeah, it was wild.

Speaker A:

Yeah, they were like.

Speaker A:

I mean, they had some other, they had some other going on that, you know, kind of kept them from there.

Speaker A:

But when I was talking with Rod, he's like, yeah, dude.

Speaker A:

He goes, he goes, you know how like last year, like, like all the off roading stuff was kind of like way over on the other side?

Speaker A:

And I said, yeah.

Speaker A:

He goes, dude, I looked at the map this time and it's like all around.

Speaker A:

Like there's not hardly any detailing stuff.

Speaker A:

So yeah.

Speaker C:

Walking the other halls.

Speaker C:

The one thing I, we did, I did notice is every single hall had at least 15 or 20 PPF booths.

Speaker C:

There's all.

Speaker B:

There's.

Speaker A:

Dude, it's.

Speaker C:

Film companies are taking.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

I wish I had the patience to do that.

Speaker B:

I get too angry.

Speaker A:

I would.

Speaker A:

I just wish I had the clientele when I was doing it.

Speaker A:

To.

Speaker A:

To keep me into it, you know, keep me going with it or whatever.

Speaker B:

I just.

Speaker A:

My clientele doesn't.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

People do like the.

Speaker B:

The front end, but that's about it.

Speaker A:

And even that's.

Speaker B:

There's not that much demand for it.

Speaker C:

It's crazy because it's, you know, follow some of the other guys in our industry that do all the web marketing and websites and all that kind of tracking.

Speaker C:

Like the searches for PPF this year, this past calendar year went up like 60 and coding searches went down.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker C:

And I mean, I don't see it around here where I'm at, but you look at all the different PPF options you have now, it's insanity.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

The PP up here is just how much it costs.

Speaker A:

That's what.

Speaker B:

That's what's.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

Driving people away from getting it.

Speaker A:

Well, now they have that.

Speaker A:

That new one that's coming out.

Speaker A:

What is it?

Speaker A:

Peel skins or something?

Speaker A:

Skins or whatever like you.

Speaker A:

You spray it on.

Speaker C:

Oh yeah.

Speaker C:

And it's like plastic.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

But it looks, but it looks like ppf.

Speaker A:

It doesn't look like plasti dip.

Speaker C:

Oh yeah, I got you.

Speaker C:

It actually looks the only downside to that, those one.

Speaker C:

Because I.

Speaker C:

And I don't know if it's changed, but I talked to somebody at MTE a couple years ago that was talking about the sprayable ppf.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker C:

I was like, well, how does that work for existing shops that.

Speaker C:

Oh yeah.

Speaker C:

You have to have a paint booth for it.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker C:

For it to be right.

Speaker A:

It's like.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker C:

Paint boots aren't cheap.

Speaker A:

No.

Speaker A:

No.

Speaker A:

And I feel like.

Speaker A:

I feel like you would have to have painting skills to be able to do it right too.

Speaker C:

Oh yeah.

Speaker A:

And that's not just something you can just willy nilly jump in and do.

Speaker C:

Right.

Speaker B:

I try to play with those wipe on clear coats too.

Speaker B:

And those things are pain in the ass.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

To get right.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

Third.

Speaker B:

And who knows what it's gonna look like a couple years down the road.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

Well, that was one of the things when.

Speaker A:

When I went over to.

Speaker A:

To Noxies and he was showing me how you actually have to apply it.

Speaker A:

And I think that's probably one of the biggest downfalls for the other people's.

Speaker A:

Maybe.

Speaker A:

Maybe the application.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

Product isn't right because like Noxy was telling me, like in order to do it right, like your, your pad, like the face of it has to be like 100 saturated and product because you can't have any dry fibers.

Speaker C:

Right.

Speaker A:

Otherwise, you know, then you get that streaking and even to the point where like, he even does like the side edges of the pad.

Speaker A:

So that way when you're dragging it back and forth, if the pad rolls over.

Speaker A:

Yeah, yeah.

Speaker A:

You're not, you're not catching any dry.

Speaker A:

Smart.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

That was one of the things that, you know, I didn't get because he's like, here, load it up.

Speaker A:

And I'm like putting it on like a coating.

Speaker A:

He was.

Speaker C:

Nah, bro.

Speaker A:

He goes, you gotta.

Speaker A:

Every single one of those fibers has to be wet, you know, to make sure that it doesn't create that streaking or whatever.

Speaker C:

Yeah, well, because that's a self loving thing, right?

Speaker A:

Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.

Speaker C:

No, I'm, I'm very intrigued with, with, with the ag stuff.

Speaker C:

Just, I mean, just because I've talked to Nazi a few times since he's been working with them.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker C:

And dude, he's exactly where he's supposed to be.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker C:

Like the, the way they, like, they'll tell him like, here, go get the camera and go do some Nazi.

Speaker C:

Yeah.

Speaker C:

They give him free rein, which is smart because he's a, you know, you're good friends with him.

Speaker C:

He's a walking encyclopedia.

Speaker C:

He knows, he knows paint inside and out better than.

Speaker A:

Oh, yeah.

Speaker C:

Ever met.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

So I think, I think they did a good job bringing on Pete too, because Pete, Pete's really good with videos and, and his explanation, everything like that.

Speaker A:

So I think they did a good job bringing Pete on to kind of help Noxy with that.

Speaker C:

Yeah, yeah.

Speaker C:

No, it's.

Speaker C:

I'm intrigued by it big time.

Speaker C:

Like, it's.

Speaker C:

I was like, damn, I want to get in on that, but I don't know if it's a conflict of interest with Angel X.

Speaker C:

And when they were first developing it, they didn't.

Speaker C:

I didn't know what it was going to be.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker C:

But dude, it's.

Speaker C:

I think it's pretty badass the way they've.

Speaker C:

He's explained it and shown it.

Speaker C:

Like, because you.

Speaker C:

We've all been in groups where the icon guy, the rock clear icon rock killer comes on.

Speaker C:

They're like, why are you still using the thing that's 60 times thinner than what we're doing?

Speaker C:

Our is the bed.

Speaker C:

You know, it's the opposite of that.

Speaker C:

Like, show us the before and after in the same lighting.

Speaker A:

You know, he had a, he had a hard time with that in the beginning because he and I, dude, I had like conversations with him.

Speaker A:

I was like, dude, you got to get better about explaining this.

Speaker A:

I was like, because I'm tired of getting phone calls from people asking me what the it is.

Speaker A:

And I was like, you're the one that's supposed to know.

Speaker A:

Like, and.

Speaker A:

And I think he has now.

Speaker A:

I think he.

Speaker A:

I think he really understands it, like, how to explain it better now.

Speaker A:

So, like, when I've heard him talking about it, he definitely explains it better that, you know, it's not.

Speaker A:

It is a wipe on clear, but it's not a wipe on clear.

Speaker A:

You know, it has.

Speaker A:

You know, he's.

Speaker A:

He's definitely a lot better with it now.

Speaker C:

Well, and that's the thing that's going to make them stand out with people that are looking at the other options is there's full transparency on all their social media.

Speaker C:

There's knowledgeable people that not only install it, but actually developed it and went, you know, the way they brought it out, I've been really impressed with.

Speaker C:

It's really cool.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

And I.

Speaker A:

And, you know, one of the cool things, you know, when I went over there was, you know, Noxy did everything with me that he did in video.

Speaker A:

Like, he showed me, you know, like, all the videos when he was first doing.

Speaker A:

He goes, we're gonna do this, we're gonna do that, we're gonna, you know, like.

Speaker A:

So I was able to see that.

Speaker A:

Like, it's no, you know, like, what he does in video.

Speaker A:

And.

Speaker A:

And it's Noxy.

Speaker A:

I don't.

Speaker A:

I don't think it would, you know, any.

Speaker A:

Any Tom Foolery in his videos or whatever.

Speaker A:

But, yeah, it was, it was.

Speaker A:

It was cool.

Speaker A:

It's cool stuff, man.

Speaker A:

That's for sure.

Speaker B:

Do you have to, like, mess around with different hardeners and reducers and stuff with that one?

Speaker B:

That was the issue I had is they're like, we got to use this reducer and do it this much on this percent.

Speaker B:

And it was like, I might as well just go get regular clear coat and spray it at that point.

Speaker A:

Yeah, no, it's just a part A and a part B, you know, and you just.

Speaker A:

You just mix it up, you know, for however much you need.

Speaker A:

I. I mean, now he probably.

Speaker A:

They probably.

Speaker A:

I think they have it where.

Speaker A:

Because, see, when I was there, they, they.

Speaker A:

They didn't even.

Speaker A:

They.

Speaker A:

It wasn't even like, out out yet.

Speaker A:

Like, he had limited supply or whatever to play around with.

Speaker A:

Yeah, he had like, you know, big, giant, like.

Speaker A:

I don't know.

Speaker A:

I think he had like 500 milliliters of it, kind of a canister of it.

Speaker A:

So now I think it comes in, you know, the.

Speaker A:

You just mix the.

Speaker A:

The Part A into the, or the part B into the part A bottle and then you're, that's enough to do the whole car kind of thing.

Speaker A:

Whereas when, when I was there, he had to actually, like, he had one of those chemistry scales like John has, so he could put the bottle on and then zero it out to where it doesn't measure the bottle.

Speaker A:

And then he could put how many, you know, ounces or milliliters or whatever he needed in there to mix it up for us to just do, you know, small panel or whatever.

Speaker C:

So.

Speaker C:

Okay.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

But yeah, definitely has its place.

Speaker B:

It really does.

Speaker A:

Oh yeah, yeah.

Speaker A:

Well, and I mean, that was the thing.

Speaker A:

That was the thing I was telling them.

Speaker A:

I was like, you know, I, I was interested in it, but for me, I kind of, I kind of wasn't sure like how to do it because, you know, I was like, this to me is higher tier than ceramic.

Speaker A:

So in my shop I would have to offer it, you know, if I'm, if I'm between, you know, $2,020 $500, 2,600 on my coatings, I need to be like $3,000 and up for this, you know.

Speaker A:

And then I was like, I don't know how to sell that because it's already hard enough to try and sell a coding at two grand these days, you know.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

And then I kind of flipped on it a little bit.

Speaker A:

I was like, well, no, like this could be the stuff that you sell to like, you know, the, the sucker mom, you know, that just, you know, needs something because you're not doing as much work with it.

Speaker A:

You're just rotary cutting it and slapping this stuff on there.

Speaker A:

But then he's like, but then they have map pricing.

Speaker A:

And I was like, well, the map pricing is 200 less than what I sell my coatings for, so how do I justify selling a coating for 200 more, you know, so that was, that's, that was kind of, you know, my, my toss up with it of, you know, when everybody was like, are you going to do it?

Speaker A:

Are you going to do it?

Speaker A:

Are you going to do it?

Speaker A:

I wouldn't mind putting it in my shop.

Speaker A:

I mean, I, I don't, I don't, I don't really care, but I just don't know how I would balance it with, you know, offering that versus a coding, especially when they're going to be similarly priced, you know.

Speaker C:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

So I think most of the people that are doing it are just going full on on that.

Speaker A:

And I think that's kind of the way you, you almost would have to do it if you're going to do it is that you almost have to kind of abandon your, your ceramic know packages.

Speaker C:

Well, and it could be a good gap between the ceramic packages and the person that doesn't want to pay for ppf.

Speaker C:

Like you say, good, better, best.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker C:

This is my coding package.

Speaker C:

$2,000 for your sedan.

Speaker C:

This is my, this is a PPF for your whole car is eight.

Speaker C:

$8,500.

Speaker C:

Then I have this right here.

Speaker C:

That's a gap between the two.

Speaker A:

That's yeah.

Speaker C:

500 bucks.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

35400.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

4 grand.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

I mean you could do it that way.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker C:

That again, that's just me thinking outside the box.

Speaker C:

I don't.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

No, and that's.

Speaker A:

And you're probably, you're probably right.

Speaker A:

That probably is the way to do it.

Speaker A:

But I mean again, I feel like it's so hard these days to even get anything.

Speaker A:

So you know, I feel like in.

Speaker B:

The next like five years we're gonna see coated prices just start plummeting.

Speaker B:

I could be wrong, but there's so many on the market right now and everybody has them.

Speaker B:

Yeah, it's just devaluing the crap.

Speaker A:

But it's, it's.

Speaker A:

Yeah, but I don't necessarily think it's the coatings that are, they're the companies that are devaluing it.

Speaker A:

It's the detailers that aren't charging accordingly.

Speaker A:

I mean, you know, I mean like that was one of the things I learned from Noxy so, you know, long time ago was, you know, and rain, you probably heard him say it too.

Speaker A:

You know, like a lot of these coding brands are like, you know, oh, you can't sell the coding for less than like fifteen hundred dollars or whatever.

Speaker A:

Right?

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

So now if you're doing a two thousand dollar job or whatever, you're essentially selling the coding for fifteen hundred dollars and you're only valuing your paint correction skills@500.

Speaker A:

Right.

Speaker A:

And Oxy's like, no, it should be the other way because you know, Nazi's always like, what happens if coatings go away?

Speaker A:

Like paint correction doesn't go away.

Speaker A:

You know, if coatings go away.

Speaker A:

Like how do you still make your money?

Speaker A:

You know, are you only charging 500 for paint correction?

Speaker A:

That takes you 10 hours, 12 hours, 15 hours?

Speaker A:

like we're still going to be $:

Speaker A:

So he was always like, and it made sense is your correction skills should be fifteen hundred dollars and your coding should be on top of that.

Speaker A:

So if you Want to do?

Speaker A:

Yeah, 500.

Speaker A:

rand says you have to charge $:

Speaker A:

But that's, that's the problem with the, I think the detailers not having the business mind and they're just, you know, 500, I'll cut and polish your car and throw a ceramic coating on it because 500 today is better than low dollars today.

Speaker A:

And yeah, so yeah, there's a fine.

Speaker B:

Line you gotta, you gotta watch when you're doing deals like that because it'll bite you.

Speaker A:

Well, I, I think and, and I don't know if you guys have seen it.

Speaker A:

I've kind of noticed a little bit.

Speaker A:

Starting this year and more towards like the middle of the year, I think I've started noticing at least around me a lot of what I kind of call the COVID detailers are starting to like, disappear.

Speaker C:

Oh yeah.

Speaker A:

Like they, they're, they, they're realizing they can't like what they were charging because they were the ones that were bottom of the barrel or racing to the bottom.

Speaker A:

They can't, they can't sustain, they can't live off it anymore.

Speaker A:

And I think maybe in another year or so we finally get rid of all of those and then maybe everything goes back up.

Speaker A:

I think the only thing is now you got all these YouTube, tick tock wannabe detailers out here hawking everything underneath the sun and I don't think they know how to price things out and they're just, you know, selling all their stuff to the newbies and it's gonna hurt too.

Speaker A:

So I don't know.

Speaker C:

Yeah, it's, it's wild.

Speaker C:

Some of the stuff that some companies do, it's just like, it's, it's so transparent that what they're doing, there's a money grab to people.

Speaker A:

Oh yeah.

Speaker C:

Have been doing this for a while.

Speaker C:

The new people get, oh look, a shiny new thing.

Speaker C:

I'm gonna go try this.

Speaker C:

This sounds awesome.

Speaker C:

And then that's the problem too with people is.

Speaker C:

And I've been guilty of it too in the past, as much as we try not to.

Speaker C:

You get emotionally tied to something you put money into and people will.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker C:

Ignore facts, ignore data and ignore statistics because they have emotional attachment to something that they bought it, they thought they bought into.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker C:

It's now like it becomes their whole freaking identity.

Speaker C:

It's wild, dude.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

I mean the whole influencer thing is crazy because there's people out there that are considered influencers that I don't think maybe even know general Knowledge, paint, correction, type.

Speaker B:

Some of them don't even detail.

Speaker B:

I think they're just really good on camera.

Speaker A:

Oh, yeah.

Speaker B:

They start getting followers and they know enough to do something I care.

Speaker B:

And they really have no idea what they're doing.

Speaker B:

Not all of them, but I mean they're definitely.

Speaker B:

Tick tock is huge with it.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker C:

Oh yeah, I know.

Speaker C:

I see the reels on, even on Facebook.

Speaker C:

It's like it's some 18 year old kid.

Speaker C:

You want me to show you how to stack up 40 different coatings in your shop this week?

Speaker A:

Shut up.

Speaker B:

You can make 300 grand a year just doing three cars a day.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

Let me know how that works out.

Speaker B:

You know, up here in New York in the snow.

Speaker C:

Yeah, you haven't even finished puberty yet.

Speaker C:

Let's get through that for you.

Speaker C:

I love Coach.

Speaker A:

The other thing I love too is when you go to like their Instagram page, they have like 200 followers, but they're like a marketing genius guru.

Speaker A:

Like, you know, why aren't, why don't.

Speaker B:

You have, you know, or you'll see these posts about.

Speaker B:

They're gonna, they're gonna teach you how to get all this engagement and then you look at their post as like 2 likes.

Speaker B:

Like there's nothing there.

Speaker C:

Exactly.

Speaker B:

But you're asking me for money to teach me how to get all these lights and.

Speaker A:

Yeah, no, yeah.

Speaker B:

Everybody's a trainer now.

Speaker B:

A trainer and an influencer.

Speaker A:

Yeah, yeah, it's easy these days.

Speaker A:

I mean, you could just go on chat GGT and say, write me a detailed training weekend.

Speaker C:

Oh, dude, it's so bad.

Speaker A:

Yeah, plan.

Speaker C:

I see that all the time.

Speaker C:

If you're not using AI in your business, you're going backwards.

Speaker C:

And they're like, okay, that's got its.

Speaker B:

Use, but I wouldn't use it for everything.

Speaker B:

I wanted to do trainings for like dealership style detailing, but literally everybody's offering trainings now, so it just completely devalued.

Speaker B:

I'm like, I'm not even gonna bother.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker C:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

Well, it's almost like every, every video in your feed is some.

Speaker A:

Somebody going, you know, what makes the best?

Speaker A:

You know, insert ppf, ceramic coating, paint correction.

Speaker A:

You know, come, come to my training and figure out why, you know, and it's like every other one is somebody.

Speaker A:

And that's, that's why.

Speaker A:

I mean, I think there's people out there that are, that are really great trainers.

Speaker A:

And that's why I've always kind of tried to preach on this podcast.

Speaker A:

Like, please just do your due diligence and, and, you know, kind of look at who this person is that's training and, and what kind of background they have for it.

Speaker A:

Because, you know, again, there's, you know, a lot of people out there that I ain't got.

Speaker A:

I ain't got no work this week.

Speaker A:

You know what, let's see if we could book a training this weekend, right?

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker C:

And then that's the thing.

Speaker C:

You can be the best at something, be really proficient in whatever trade or craft it is.

Speaker C:

That doesn't mean you know how to translate that knowledge to other people.

Speaker C:

Well, yeah, it's not.

Speaker C:

It's a.

Speaker C:

There's a big.

Speaker C:

And it's the same thing.

Speaker C:

Right.

Speaker C:

With that.

Speaker C:

I've seen personally working with other detailers.

Speaker C:

When you're working with them for somebody else, everything's great.

Speaker C:

But as soon as they take over, a lot of people, when they take over a shop and get.

Speaker C:

Or start doing their own thing, they know how to polish a car, they don't know how to manage employees, they don't know how to do payroll, they don't know how to juggle 20 things going on.

Speaker A:

And it's.

Speaker C:

That's where, I mean, experience is the best teacher.

Speaker C:

But you can definitely tell the people that have never, like, been part of a team or led anything or something.

Speaker A:

Well, and, and also I think there's a lot of people out there that like, as I say, can, can be parrots.

Speaker A:

Right.

Speaker A:

And they can just, you know, they can, they can repeat all of the information.

Speaker A:

Right.

Speaker A:

Like, you know, so you could have a training class and they could, you know, repeat all of the information that they heard from somewhere.

Speaker A:

But can they physically show you and explain it?

Speaker A:

You know, I could repeat.

Speaker A:

Listen, I could go and do an Air Knox training.

Speaker A:

You want an Aeronaux training?

Speaker A:

I can go.

Speaker A:

I, I probably can give it to you word for word, but the thing I can't give you is I can't show you what Aaron shows you when he's telling those things.

Speaker B:

Yeah, right.

Speaker C:

Yeah, he's amazing, dude.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

You know, same thing with like, Maddie and Dave.

Speaker A:

Like, you know, I've seen their trainings.

Speaker A:

I probably couldn't do them word for word, but.

Speaker A:

But at the same time, I wouldn't be able to show you the things that they're going to be able to show you when they're talking about it.

Speaker A:

Yeah, that's the other thing.

Speaker A:

I think a lot of people can go out there and parrot their way through a training, but they're not going to be able to have the Experience to actually show you how.

Speaker A:

How it does that.

Speaker A:

Right.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker C:

And.

Speaker C:

And in anything nuanced, like past the, the copy and pasted thing that you just repeated to somebody, can you go down into the depths of it if you need to like somebody.

Speaker C:

Okay.

Speaker C:

You're doing that to get this result.

Speaker C:

But why and.

Speaker A:

Yeah, exactly.

Speaker C:

What about this?

Speaker C:

As soon as you start breaking off into any extra tabs, open those.

Speaker C:

Those people log out.

Speaker A:

Exactly.

Speaker C:

My edibles hit like 10.

Speaker B:

Take the training class and then, you know, two weeks later they're.

Speaker B:

They're trying to train people.

Speaker B:

No.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

Teach everything where they don't even understand what they just learned.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker C:

It's funny, man, because it's.

Speaker C:

Who was it?

Speaker C:

I was talking about one of our.

Speaker C:

I was talking about trainings or something.

Speaker C:

There's a post that I made and then.

Speaker C:

What's his face?

Speaker C:

Greg Masterson.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker C:

Who I've been friends with on Facebook for a while when I see him and every time I see him in person, always been cool as gave me his personal phone number.

Speaker C:

Hey man, let's next time around, California, let's hang out.

Speaker C:

Always been real cool to me.

Speaker C:

But he came on my post and was like, is it all those coatings are.

Speaker C:

Or all those.

Speaker C:

All these trainings in the detail industry are garbage.

Speaker C:

They're just trying to get your.

Speaker C:

Trying to.

Speaker C:

It's a, it's a sales pitch for a weekend.

Speaker C:

You don't really.

Speaker B:

That's because he sales.

Speaker B:

So he went.

Speaker C:

And I'm like, like, bro, what the are you talking about?

Speaker C:

That's like first off, wrong.

Speaker C:

I said, you.

Speaker C:

You say you've been to every.

Speaker C:

And someone.

Speaker C:

Someone else had commented and he said, oh, I've been to all these trains.

Speaker C:

I've been to every single one of them.

Speaker C:

I know what's there and what's not.

Speaker C:

I'm like, you haven't been to any though.

Speaker C:

Any of the trains I've been to.

Speaker C:

If they shut your face.

Speaker A:

So here's the thing I, I love and hate about Greg.

Speaker C:

Already.

Speaker A:

Yes.

Speaker A:

But, but, but here's because he did the same thing with the paint correction competition, you know, when we had it earlier this year.

Speaker C:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

And then there was.

Speaker A:

There was some posts and he got in and went back and forth.

Speaker A:

The thing that I love about him is he's really good at helping get engagement on a post to, to get, to get more people to see it.

Speaker A:

The, the thing I hate is he kind of does it in the wrong way.

Speaker A:

Like he, he does it in the Greg Masterson way because he knows that everybody is going to click on it because he did it in a Greg Masterson way.

Speaker C:

No.

Speaker C:

That's awesome.

Speaker C:

And that's why what I told him.

Speaker C:

Exactly.

Speaker C:

I was, I was like, bro, you, you're crossing lines.

Speaker C:

I was letting you know I was getting pissed.

Speaker C:

I was like, you want to go make, go make your own post on your own now you don't come on mine.

Speaker C:

On something that I'm, Again, I don't think.

Speaker A:

Yeah, but again, I don't think he was necessarily like, on you.

Speaker A:

I think he was just doing a Greg Masteron post because he knows.

Speaker C:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

That It'll get like 10 people to click on it.

Speaker A:

Right.

Speaker B:

He's really good at the marketing and he is getting the attention.

Speaker B:

He's really good.

Speaker C:

Don't get me wrong.

Speaker C:

Don't get me wrong.

Speaker C:

Even though I'm currently pissed at him and I was very upset with him that day.

Speaker C:

If I had seen him that day in person, it would have been bad.

Speaker C:

But wait, to what you're saying.

Speaker C:

Yeah, he is crazy, crazy smart.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

And that's the thing that I think a lot of people don't understand is, is there's Greg on social media and then there's, and then there's Greg in real life.

Speaker A:

Greg in real life is, is a completely different person.

Speaker A:

He's super nice.

Speaker A:

Like, yes.

Speaker C:

Me and Tommy hung out a couple times.

Speaker A:

He's, he's a, I mean, he's a good dude.

Speaker A:

I mean, I, I, I like talking to Greg, know when I talk to him.

Speaker A:

But yeah, I mean it on social media.

Speaker A:

He just knows how to say the things that get people riled up.

Speaker A:

And it's gonna get engagement and it's gonna get views and listen, I mean, that's, that's the reason why he's, you know, doing all that on Tik Tok now.

Speaker A:

You know, he's getting more money on Tik Tok.

Speaker A:

That he's probably making it Masterson's car care.

Speaker B:

Yep.

Speaker C:

I'm, I still am a holdout on Tik Tok.

Speaker C:

I refuse.

Speaker C:

Yeah, can't do it, man.

Speaker A:

I'd much rather scroll Tick Tock endlessly than stupid Facebook.

Speaker C:

Well, that's, I mean, that's what all federal informants say for a foreign country.

Speaker C:

That's fine.

Speaker B:

I do, I like Tick Tock better than reals too.

Speaker B:

I don't like reels.

Speaker B:

I don't know.

Speaker A:

Why not?

Speaker A:

Not even, not even reels.

Speaker A:

It's just, I mean, like, you know, you scroll Facebook and of course, you know, like all of us, we're in all the detailed groups and it's just, you know, the, you know, what was the one I saw?

Speaker A:

Yes, the other day?

Speaker A:

Somebody, somebody was asking.

Speaker A:

It was in an enthusiast group and somebody was asking a, like a real general, general question because they're obviously, it's an enthusiast group so they probably don't have.

Speaker A:

And I, and I was just like, I'm not even clicking on the comments because I know where this is going to go.

Speaker B:

Right.

Speaker A:

Absolute right.

Speaker A:

And then there's.

Speaker A:

There was another one I saw where somebody took a picture of the back window of a car that was busted out.

Speaker A:

And they were like.

Speaker A:

And the guy was like, you know, I came into this group looking, looking for help and I guess it was.

Speaker B:

You know, frost on the hot water one.

Speaker A:

Yeah, frost on the back window.

Speaker A:

And somebody told him to dump hot water on it.

Speaker A:

Like, first of all, like, didn't we all learn that in like elementary school?

Speaker A:

Frozen.

Speaker A:

You don't.

Speaker A:

You throw hot water on it.

Speaker A:

It.

Speaker A:

Because it's frozen.

Speaker A:

So it's, it's, it's like, what is it?

Speaker A:

It's, it's shrunk up and then you throw something hot on it, it's gonna expand rapidly.

Speaker C:

Expand.

Speaker C:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

Right, right, exactly.

Speaker A:

So, so, you know, his fault for being an idiot, first of all.

Speaker A:

But like, that's probably the thing.

Speaker A:

He probably was like, hey, how do I get.

Speaker A:

You know.

Speaker A:

And somebody with some in the group was probably like, throw hot water on it.

Speaker B:

You know, I couldn't tell if that was a troll post or I was trying to figure that out.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

I mean, but you know, realistically, it could be.

Speaker A:

It could have been, you know, it could have been.

Speaker A:

It could have been one way or the other.

Speaker A:

Because nowadays you never know.

Speaker A:

But yeah, so I mean, like, I would much rather scroll, tick tock and see funny comedic things, trends, stupid or whatever than have to keep scrolling past all these dumb details.

Speaker B:

I joined that group thinking, oh, I'll help some people out.

Speaker B:

And I get so irritated in there.

Speaker B:

Sometimes I troll too, but not all the time.

Speaker C:

But yeah, it's wild, man.

Speaker C:

I say I rarely participate even like, especially with the.

Speaker C:

Sometimes I can't help myself.

Speaker C:

Sometimes.

Speaker C:

Sometimes.

Speaker C:

Every once in a while the DIY detail reel will come across and it's.

Speaker B:

Them giving out some.

Speaker C:

Giving some terrible advice was awful.

Speaker B:

Completely different than what they were telling us, you know, 15 years ago.

Speaker B:

Because I was there.

Speaker C:

I remember logic, zero proof of what they did.

Speaker C:

It's just, it's just terrible.

Speaker C:

Now I'm getting there and be like, you idiots.

Speaker C:

Like There's.

Speaker C:

It was one about cleaning AC vents.

Speaker C:

This dude soaked a towel in their rinseless wash, held it up against the vent, and then put a tornador on it and blew the moisture from the towel and down into the vent.

Speaker C:

I'm like, oh, yeah, that won't.

Speaker C:

You know, let's shove a bunch of moisture down a dark place and I won't grow mold at all.

Speaker A:

This is great.

Speaker C:

Great advice, you idiots.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker C:

God, they make me crazy.

Speaker A:

Yeah, I, I like the one.

Speaker A:

Was it a year or two ago that they made and.

Speaker A:

And their leader, you know, said, you don't need we.

Speaker A:

You don't need.

Speaker A:

You don't need compound these days.

Speaker A:

You know, blah, blah, blah.

Speaker A:

And then like they turned around at SEMA and came out with a compound.

Speaker A:

You know.

Speaker B:

It'S okay when it's theirs.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

Don't buff a car.

Speaker B:

You'll.

Speaker B:

You're gonna ruin the pain if you buff a car.

Speaker B:

Unless you, you know, buff it with their stuff.

Speaker C:

Yeah, yeah, dude, it's.

Speaker C:

Yeah, I remember that for sure.

Speaker C:

You don't need to come.

Speaker C:

He's always just saying just the most wildest that you can pull out of your butt.

Speaker A:

Again, dude, it's, it's.

Speaker A:

It's for clicks and likes.

Speaker A:

And that's what kills me is the.

Speaker C:

If you say anything, they're like, what have you.

Speaker C:

What do you do?

Speaker C:

You don't know about people.

Speaker B:

Anybody that knows him from years ago knows he used to talk the exact opposite of everything he says now.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

Like, he literally just did a 180.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

On everything.

Speaker A:

Like he's playing into the social media field.

Speaker A:

Your game, dude.

Speaker A:

He's.

Speaker A:

He's.

Speaker A:

I mean, look, he isn't.

Speaker B:

He's making money.

Speaker B:

So I mean, I, I give him credit for that.

Speaker B:

But.

Speaker C:

Yeah, that's what kills me is like, like, how does a shill like that continue to make money every year after year and place after place?

Speaker A:

Listen, the biggest problem I have with it is, is I get it.

Speaker A:

Like, go on and say whatever you want for.

Speaker A:

For likes and.

Speaker A:

Or whatever.

Speaker A:

The problem I have with it is, is when you are of a caliber of somebody that people look up to and they follow that advice.

Speaker A:

Right?

Speaker A:

And then they're gonna.

Speaker A:

And then they're going to start ruining people's cars, you know, by following, by following your.

Speaker A:

You know, because you're saying things because you want engagement, you want likes, you want.

Speaker A:

You want to.

Speaker A:

A paycheck from YouTube or TikTok or whatever.

Speaker A:

Like, that's the problem I have with it.

Speaker A:

And these People who are following them don't know any better because they're not out following other people in the industry who really know what the.

Speaker A:

They're talking about and would not say those things because they know it'll up car up.

Speaker A:

You know, it's what.

Speaker C:

That's what, that's what that.

Speaker C:

I guess that's my biggest problem with them too is like for the reason you just said, there's a lot of people that are wanting and looking and looking for information and something they want to get into.

Speaker C:

And they're.

Speaker C:

They're basic building blocks of knowledge are because they're listening to idiots who like Walt just said he's telling you something and swearing by Jesus like it's in there, his Bible.

Speaker C:

But 18 months ago he was saying the exact opposite of the he's telling you now that is.

Speaker B:

Yeah, yeah.

Speaker C:

Supposed to be, you know, well, and.

Speaker A:

I think that's a lot of the people that are now making their, their paycheck off of social media is.

Speaker A:

You go back and look at these people, you know, a year ago, two years ago, five years ago, 10 years ago, and they definitely were not saying the same that they're saying now.

Speaker C:

You know, that's.

Speaker C:

There's only so much you can say like, man, we've got to the end of this book.

Speaker C:

We have to flip it.

Speaker A:

Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Speaker A:

I don't know, man.

Speaker A:

It's just, I guess, you know what.

Speaker B:

It used to be.

Speaker A:

Yeah, I mean, I guess, I guess it's kind of, you know, not my monkeys, not my circus kind of look to it or kind of, you know, for sure.

Speaker C:

Because that's like, you see a lot of the big names in the industry, they're not engaging in none of that.

Speaker C:

They know it's a way.

Speaker B:

No, they're just trying to.

Speaker B:

They're trying to make the money from being that guy.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

And not actually doing the work.

Speaker B:

And they may know how to do the work, but it doesn't.

Speaker C:

I'm saying, like, why bigger people don't call out the DIY stuff.

Speaker C:

Those type of people.

Speaker C:

That's because they know it's a waste of time.

Speaker C:

You're arguing people that they're dug in already.

Speaker C:

They're emotionally dug into this dude because they.

Speaker C:

You believed.

Speaker C:

Oh, I believed him.

Speaker C:

Everything he say must be true.

Speaker C:

I'm riding with this dude forever.

Speaker C:

And I'm just like, no, no, no.

Speaker C:

And, but like you said, we've all been in the groups and you want to help people, but then you see how toxic the is and how.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

And I mean, yeah, that's.

Speaker A:

That's the other thing.

Speaker A:

I mean, you try to, like, you know, say the right thing or do the right thing, and then you've, you know, got, you know, 10 million of their minions, you know, just, you know, in your ass telling you that you don't know what the you're doing kind of thing, so.

Speaker B:

Right.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

You know, it's enthusiast group after detailing for 20 years, and they.

Speaker B:

They're flamingy leave there feeling like you just discarded.

Speaker A:

Yeah, right.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

That's why it's.

Speaker A:

It's better just to put the blinders on.

Speaker A:

Just y'.

Speaker A:

All.

Speaker A:

Y' all go ahead and up some cars or whatever, give us all a bad name.

Speaker A:

It's, you know, whatever.

Speaker A:

I mean, that's.

Speaker A:

That's why, you know.

Speaker A:

You know, Walt, like you were saying, with all the.

Speaker A:

The coatings that are out there now, and it's so saturated and everything, and, you know, it's.

Speaker A:

It's.

Speaker A:

Again, I don't think it's the coding company's fault.

Speaker A:

It's a detailer's fault.

Speaker A:

But, you know, you got guys out there that are, you know, doing it in somebody's driveway.

Speaker A:

They're not prepping it right.

Speaker A:

You know, they're not doing a.

Speaker A:

A full correction job.

Speaker A:

They're just, you know, washing it and slapping a coating on there, you know, and the fails in six months, a year, or whatever.

Speaker A:

And now that client's like, you know, ceramic coatings, that stuff are a scam.

Speaker A:

Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Speaker A:

You know, and then you're.

Speaker A:

You go and you try to sell them.

Speaker A:

No, it's a scam, you know, and it's.

Speaker A:

You know, and you can't.

Speaker A:

You can't change their mind at that point.

Speaker A:

You can't be like, well, look, no, like, I'm gonna do this, this, this, this, and this to make it done right.

Speaker A:

No, you know, the.

Speaker A:

Oh, the other guy did that, too.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

How long did it take him?

Speaker A:

Two hours.

Speaker A:

Yeah, exactly.

Speaker B:

Exactly.

Speaker A:

Right.

Speaker B:

You know, I used to push ceramic coatings all the time, and I just.

Speaker B:

Now I just.

Speaker B:

I'll advertise for it here and there, but usually I just wait for them to call me, because if they come to me, then they're interested.

Speaker B:

But, yeah, most of the time, they're.

Speaker B:

They want it quick, they want it cheap.

Speaker B:

They have these expectations.

Speaker B:

I can't tell you how many people come in here and they're like, yeah, I want it because I don't want to wash my car anymore.

Speaker B:

And I'm like, yeah, where did you hear you don't have to wash it anymore.

Speaker B:

Yeah, well, I can just rinse it with water.

Speaker B:

I'm like, I mean, you kind of.

Speaker B:

It's dusty, but at some point it's going to get clogged up.

Speaker A:

Yeah, just.

Speaker B:

It blows my mind.

Speaker B:

Yeah, there's so many of them that I just.

Speaker A:

Oh, so.

Speaker A:

So I've got one for you.

Speaker A:

So I saw this, this.

Speaker A:

Speaking of tick tock.

Speaker A:

So I saw this tick tock the other day from this rap guy.

Speaker A:

And, and so he's showing a car and he's like, he's got a towel, like doused.

Speaker A:

He's.

Speaker A:

He swears it was 99 isopropyl alcohol.

Speaker A:

And.

Speaker A:

And he wipes it on the door panel and it's just beating, you know, separating like it should.

Speaker A:

He's like, it's got a ceramic coating on it.

Speaker A:

You know, it's going to be hard to put a wrap on this.

Speaker A:

You know, everybody's like, how do you rem gets like this, this little torch.

Speaker A:

And he like just torches real quick, you know, just.

Speaker A:

And he, and he torches the word no on the door.

Speaker A:

Like two seconds, just.

Speaker C:

Okay.

Speaker A:

And then he takes that same isopropyl alcohol and he wipes the.

Speaker A:

The door.

Speaker A:

And where he torched it, right, is there's.

Speaker A:

There's no coding there.

Speaker A:

It's gone.

Speaker A:

He's like, that's all it takes to remove a coating.

Speaker A:

I'm like, that must be the world's shittiest coding because ceramic pro for years has been lighting cars on fire.

Speaker B:

Right.

Speaker A:

It's showing you that the coding is still there.

Speaker A:

Like, you know, now this on Tik Tok got PPF and rap guys gonna be torching cars that don't know what the they're doing.

Speaker A:

Like.

Speaker C:

Jesus Christ, dude, that's.

Speaker C:

That, that's wild.

Speaker B:

I'll test a lot of things, but I'm not lighting a car on fire.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

Because I have bad luck.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

It was quick.

Speaker A:

I mean, he was quick with it.

Speaker A:

He was just like, no, I know what you mean.

Speaker A:

You know, but still, like, you get.

Speaker C:

Something absolutely not remove.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

You get somebody so many other ways that you could remove it probably even faster than doing something stupid like that.

Speaker A:

And really, you don't need to remove it fully.

Speaker A:

You just need to knock down the, the hydrophobia there.

Speaker B:

I mean, it'll.

Speaker B:

It'll probably still stick just fine.

Speaker B:

The only issue I ever had is when I had decals on my car.

Speaker B:

I didn't take the coating off of the rockers.

Speaker B:

I didn't want to buff Them like you and the edges started to lift the very edges.

Speaker B:

But the.

Speaker B:

The graphics all stuck.

Speaker B:

It's just the edges there pulling off.

Speaker A:

Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Speaker A:

And that's the other thing, too.

Speaker A:

I mean, you don't have to remove it all off the door.

Speaker A:

Just remove it around the edges.

Speaker A:

That's the only place you really need it to tack.

Speaker A:

It'll.

Speaker B:

There's enough glue on there that.

Speaker A:

Yeah, it'll be fine in the.

Speaker A:

The big areas, the middle.

Speaker A:

You just need those.

Speaker A:

Those edges locked down, you know?

Speaker A:

And I mean.

Speaker A:

I mean, let's get into the ppf, guys.

Speaker A:

If you're really doing it right, you'd be pulling moldings and trim and all that off and wrapping anyways, so it wouldn't be tacking down on where the film is, you know, anyway, so.

Speaker A:

Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Speaker B:

I feel like there's two kinds of people most of the time, and it's the those that say nothing's going to remove the coating and that everything's going to remove the coating.

Speaker B:

There's never an in between.

Speaker B:

Like, anything's gonna stick to it to a point.

Speaker B:

It's just easier to remove it.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

I did that video spray painting the other day, and someone messaged me, and they're like, it'll come off anyway.

Speaker B:

Well, yeah, but it's these.

Speaker B:

I use the dry towel for a reason.

Speaker B:

Like, to show you that it comes right off.

Speaker B:

It's going to come off no matter what.

Speaker B:

But, yeah, the coating makes it easier to come off.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

It's always somebody.

Speaker A:

It's always somebody.

Speaker A:

So.

Speaker B:

Yeah, I don't know.

Speaker A:

I think.

Speaker A:

I think we've lost rain.

Speaker A:

I think he's.

Speaker A:

I think those edibles.

Speaker A:

His.

Speaker A:

Those edibles have hit bro.

Speaker A:

And he's just like, I don't know.

Speaker C:

What you mean, bro.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker C:

I'm the same person I always was.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker C:

You guys coming in t just elevated.

Speaker B:

I want to really bad, but it is, like, slow, slow.

Speaker B:

Like, I mean, I'm making money from gift certificates in these.

Speaker A:

Well, dude, there's nothing there for you to do.

Speaker A:

You might as well come down, hang out.

Speaker B:

I know.

Speaker B:

It's just this winter's got me nervous because it.

Speaker B:

Right now it costs me anywhere from 800 to a thousand dollars a month to heat my shop because it adds up when there's not a lot coming in.

Speaker B:

And I'm just.

Speaker A:

Been like four days in Florida at the end of January.

Speaker A:

Probably knock like 3 or 400 off that heating bill.

Speaker A:

I'm trying to save you money.

Speaker B:

Come to Florida next month so I can't be on it for, I think he said a total of 16 days.

Speaker B:

By the time they start working, working and it cures.

Speaker B:

And I have to have my heat up to like 75 just to keep it warm in there when they're done.

Speaker B:

And I keep it at like 60.

Speaker B:

Can't wait to get that heating better.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker C:

Jesus.

Speaker A:

You should do that in the summertime.

Speaker B:

When we were going to, but my landlord's paying for it.

Speaker B:

I do.

Speaker B:

She's not making, but it worked out because, um, that RV that I was telling you about, Rain, that big ass one with the car hauler, I'm doing that.

Speaker B:

That's gonna take me a while.

Speaker B:

So I'll do that while they're doing the floor and then I have another RV to do after that, but.

Speaker B:

So I have stuff to do in other people's shops to be out of here.

Speaker A:

But that's cool at least.

Speaker B:

But we were gonna do it when it was warm out, but then I gotta get a tent, do everything outside or close down during busy season or at least right now it's not busy, so it's not.

Speaker A:

Yeah, let's don't check out that.

Speaker A:

Yeah, well, if you come, it'd be cool.

Speaker B:

I'm.

Speaker B:

I'm hoping, but we'll see.

Speaker B:

Yeah, let's see.

Speaker A:

Yeah, we're gonna.

Speaker B:

I do need to get away, though.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker C:

Yeah, we got.

Speaker C:

We're getting a.

Speaker C:

We got a big Airbnb house.

Speaker A:

Nice.

Speaker B:

I didn't go anywhere this year.

Speaker B:

My wife, she went to Italy, she went to Greece.

Speaker B:

She's going on a cruise in a couple months.

Speaker B:

I got nowhere.

Speaker A:

Yeah, she needs you.

Speaker A:

She needs you in that shop.

Speaker A:

Working.

Speaker A:

Working to make money for her.

Speaker B:

She's my sugar mama.

Speaker B:

Especially in the winter time.

Speaker A:

Nice.

Speaker A:

Nice.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

Well, let's see.

Speaker A:

Come down.

Speaker A:

Rain.

Speaker A:

Rain.

Speaker A:

You gonna enter the paint correction competition this year?

Speaker C:

I don't know.

Speaker C:

I was thinking about it.

Speaker A:

Should give it a whirl, man.

Speaker C:

Might do that.

Speaker A:

It's good for shits and giggles.

Speaker A:

Oh, yeah.

Speaker A:

I'd do it if I wasn't a part of it.

Speaker A:

My luck.

Speaker A:

Yeah, you can use whatever the you want.

Speaker A:

Run what you're playing.

Speaker B:

Give me a rotary any day.

Speaker B:

I'll cut.

Speaker A:

Well, I mean, I don't look pretty.

Speaker B:

Some people look pretty, but it'll.

Speaker B:

I'll cut it.

Speaker A:

Some people say DA's cut faster than rotaries, so.

Speaker C:

Yeah, sure.

Speaker B:

I've been practicing finishing down with a rotary.

Speaker B:

I haven't done it in so long, but lately it's been slow.

Speaker B:

I've been doing it just for fun.

Speaker B:

Yeah, I think I still got it.

Speaker C:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

I wouldn't do it by choice, but if I had to, I could do it.

Speaker C:

You just ride that hologram to the end of the panel.

Speaker C:

It's fine.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker C:

Push it off.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

Sometimes I cut so heavy with that rotary that I have to go back over it with the rotary and foam just to knock it down.

Speaker C:

Yeah, yeah.

Speaker C:

You gotta do.

Speaker C:

If you're cutting heavy, you got to do a.

Speaker C:

You have to do a mid step.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

I'll tell you what, man.

Speaker A:

I. I've got all of those pans from earlier this year in my shop and this.

Speaker A:

This week I. I didn't have a lot of work this week.

Speaker A:

So this week I was at the shop, I was clamping them to the, to the table and just playing around with the rotary.

Speaker A:

Playing around with different pads, different compounds.

Speaker B:

Did you use any like special kind of cookie sheet for those?

Speaker B:

I was thinking about getting some just to have them in the office for people to see the difference.

Speaker A:

No, Sheldon, order them from Amazon, dude.

Speaker A:

I could probably send you the link.

Speaker B:

So I can show people the difference between like a. Enhancement.

Speaker B:

Correction.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

Just wax.

Speaker C:

Yeah.

Speaker C:

Auto.

Speaker C:

When I went to Autoality's event back in January or it was March, their training center, they have like baking sheets sprayed out with black paint and different hardness as it clears and they just clamp them to, you know, to a.

Speaker C:

It's a damn thing.

Speaker C:

Just clamp it to a cart and.

Speaker A:

Yeah, dude.

Speaker C:

Paint direction training with that.

Speaker A:

It's really, it's really nice, dude.

Speaker A:

Like I was thinking about it.

Speaker A:

I mean, you know, all.

Speaker A:

Most of all the trainings I gone to is, you know, they've got hoods, you know, they're nice, but they're so.

Speaker B:

Big and they're just putting away like.

Speaker A:

Right.

Speaker A:

And then especially if you're trying to get like three or four people on it at a time.

Speaker A:

Those hood stands, they're all janky and they shake back and forth and.

Speaker A:

Yeah, like these pans, like.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

I mean you just get like some, you know, clamps or whatever.

Speaker A:

And that's what.

Speaker A:

That's all I do is I've got, you know, one of those fold out plastic picnic table or you know, you know, whatever tables.

Speaker A:

I set that up and put the pan on there and clamp it down and then just, you know, either hit it with sandpaper or I mean like that's, that's.

Speaker A:

I was doing a little bit of sandpaper this week because I wanted to just, you know, play around.

Speaker A:

Sanding.

Speaker C:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

And then taking, you know, trying to take the.

Speaker A:

The sand scratches out.

Speaker A:

And then I took another one and I took one of my.

Speaker A:

Was it like the nylon bristle carpet brushes, you know?

Speaker C:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

Just trying to, you know, lightly just kind of put some, you know, car wash types swirly scratches in it.

Speaker A:

And playing with pulling those out.

Speaker A:

It's.

Speaker A:

Yeah, it's.

Speaker A:

It's.

Speaker A:

You know, you just gotta get.

Speaker A:

You just gotta end up, you know, get a painter, paint them or whatever.

Speaker C:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

You know, it's not a big.

Speaker A:

Usually not too big of a deal.

Speaker A:

So.

Speaker B:

Hey, is that resurrection?

Speaker B:

Is that supposed to be really watery?

Speaker B:

I've only bought one bottle, but it is like.

Speaker B:

Like I tip it, it just starts pouring out.

Speaker C:

Is it the old resurrection or the new?

Speaker B:

Probably because I got it like a year ago.

Speaker B:

Probably.

Speaker B:

Okay, it's almost gone now, but it.

Speaker C:

Should be too watery.

Speaker C:

I mean, it's not like.

Speaker B:

I mean it's still.

Speaker B:

It still works.

Speaker B:

But I just.

Speaker B:

It.

Speaker B:

It seemed a little bit like use your regenerat.

Speaker B:

And that's like a normal.

Speaker B:

Whatever the word is viscosity or whatever.

Speaker B:

But that stuff is like.

Speaker B:

It would run right out of the bottle.

Speaker B:

Well, maybe I didn't shake it enough in the beginning and all that.

Speaker C:

The new.

Speaker C:

The new resurrection is supposed to be here very soon if it's not already here.

Speaker C:

I haven't checked Auto Alley, see if they're.

Speaker B:

I think it.

Speaker B:

Yeah, I think it was on Auto Alley because I just ordered regenerate today.

Speaker A:

Oh.

Speaker A:

What's different with it?

Speaker C:

The new re.

Speaker C:

The new resurrection is.

Speaker C:

Cuts harder than the old one did.

Speaker C:

Finishes down way better.

Speaker C:

Longer working time, way way.

Speaker B:

I think it cuts better than the way this does.

Speaker B:

The 3D ACA 500, that's my favorite.

Speaker B:

That's like my go to compound.

Speaker C:

I think it.

Speaker B:

I think dream.

Speaker C:

I think it.

Speaker C:

It's more versatile, it has more working time.

Speaker C:

And cut.

Speaker C:

It cut.

Speaker C:

Might be up there with 500.

Speaker C:

I don't know.

Speaker C:

It's.

Speaker C:

It's because when I'm cutting I use a rotary, so pretty much anything I use.

Speaker B:

That's what I do.

Speaker C:

So saying.

Speaker C:

But no, it's.

Speaker C:

It's really, really phenomenal.

Speaker C:

And we've been waiting.

Speaker C:

They've had it out in the UK for like three months already.

Speaker C:

We just been waiting.

Speaker B:

Is the resurrection 2.0, is that the one you were playing with at the Autoality event?

Speaker B:

That was the.

Speaker A:

Yes.

Speaker B:

I wasn't sure if it was gonna have a different name or if that was it.

Speaker C:

Yeah, we.

Speaker C:

That was up in the air for a Minute they didn't decide until late in the production cycle.

Speaker C:

Just Give it Resurrection 2.0.

Speaker B:

Resurrection and the Blue Lake country pad.

Speaker B:

That's my, that's my go to.

Speaker B:

You can one stop so many things with that?

Speaker B:

And I mean bad stuff too.

Speaker B:

And it'll pull it out.

Speaker A:

I'll say.

Speaker C:

I can say this now because last year when.

Speaker C:

Last year at mt, the paint correction contest, Noxy went up, he did his thing and he, he, he cut and finished with the same pot with the same liquid.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker C:

And still had pretty good results because like, I think Jason Roseton is like.

Speaker C:

You got that good of a reading on those.

Speaker C:

On the whatever.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

On a cut.

Speaker C:

Yeah, the haze meter or whatever.

Speaker C:

You did that with one liquid?

Speaker C:

He's like, yep.

Speaker C:

And he obviously didn't tell him what it was, but that was the version of the resurrection 2.0, so I thought that was pretty cool.

Speaker A:

Yeah, we played with that one at.

Speaker A:

At Noxies back in March.

Speaker C:

I think it was okay.

Speaker B:

Does that come in a gallon?

Speaker B:

I know it's not on autoality, but do they, do you have it in gallons or sorry, liters or whatever they call it?

Speaker C:

I think yeah, the one liter size, I think that's, that's the biggest one.

Speaker B:

We have because I haven't.

Speaker B:

I know Auto Ality doesn't have that.

Speaker C:

Size, but I, I, That's a good question.

Speaker C:

I need to, I need to look in.

Speaker C:

I don't know if they have like bulk sizes of the, of the new.

Speaker C:

The new Resurrection or not yet.

Speaker C:

But it's good.

Speaker C:

It's really, really good stuff.

Speaker A:

Yeah, it is.

Speaker A:

It's.

Speaker B:

It's my, my generator.

Speaker C:

Don't order regenerate anymore.

Speaker C:

Order Proteus instead.

Speaker C:

It's the marine version of Regenerate.

Speaker C:

But it's like, it's same advantages as the other one.

Speaker C:

Longer working time.

Speaker C:

So cuts as hard as Regenerate does, but longer working time and, and hardly any dust at all.

Speaker B:

Is that gonna be on Auto iota?

Speaker C:

Yeah, it should be.

Speaker C:

I'm not sure if they're carrying the marine line yet or not.

Speaker C:

To be honest.

Speaker B:

I don't think I've seen it on there yet.

Speaker B:

But he's been adding a lot of.

Speaker C:

New stuff, so I'll send you some.

Speaker C:

It's good.

Speaker C:

It's good, dude.

Speaker A:

But that's cool.

Speaker A:

So it's just not a new label.

Speaker A:

Just not generating a new label.

Speaker C:

Right.

Speaker B:

It.

Speaker C:

Regenerate is probably gonna be reformulated into what Proteus is now because they, whatever they added to the mix for the Emulsifiers and the lubricants and stuff for the abrasives to give it a longer working cycle for people working out in the sun.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker C:

I'm like.

Speaker C:

I tell everybody.

Speaker C:

I'm like, dude, oh man, we love regenerate.

Speaker C:

I was like, tripodia should like it a lot better.

Speaker C:

I said, well, I just ordered, like, Walt, I just ordered.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker C:

Yesterday.

Speaker C:

I'm like, which is cool.

Speaker C:

Buy it.

Speaker B:

You know, the, the, the trigger.

Speaker B:

Add in the mineral oil to get more working time.

Speaker B:

Right.

Speaker B:

So I was using a compound.

Speaker B:

I was doing a black silver auto over the summer, and I wasn't paying attention, and I put it in there.

Speaker B:

And I never put like a marble or a bowl or anything in the bottle of compound I was using.

Speaker B:

So I put it in there.

Speaker B:

I'm like, it's not, it's not helping because everything was just sticking to the paint.

Speaker B:

So I'm putting more and more in there.

Speaker B:

Then I remembered you got to put something in the bottle to get it to actually shake up.

Speaker B:

Oh, my God.

Speaker B:

There was so much oil in there.

Speaker B:

When I was done dumping it in there, it's a mess.

Speaker B:

It went everywhere.

Speaker B:

When I. I had to throw the whole bottle away.

Speaker C:

Oh, God.

Speaker B:

And then it was flashing off, like, it looked great for like an hour.

Speaker B:

And you'd come back and everything would be there because it was just filled in from all mineral oil.

Speaker B:

I was not paying attention.

Speaker B:

What a mess.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

I'm guilty of just grabbing and putting it on the pad, not shaking it up.

Speaker A:

And I'm like, oh, God damn it.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

I'm bad about that.

Speaker B:

Well, I'm bad about playing chemist and mixing things like my interior cleaner.

Speaker B:

I use.

Speaker A:

I.

Speaker A:

It.

Speaker B:

It's two different products, but I love it.

Speaker B:

It just, it works.

Speaker B:

I've been doing it for 10 years.

Speaker A:

Yeah, nice is what it is.

Speaker A:

It's.

Speaker A:

Listen, it's all, it's all fun and games until you up some leather or something.

Speaker B:

Exactly.

Speaker B:

Speaking of up leather, did you see my post about that BMW X5M I had in here?

Speaker B:

No brand new competition.

Speaker B:

So they had the.

Speaker B:

The dealership did their Simonized ceramic coating and they left high spots everywhere and I cannot get them off the leather.

Speaker B:

I actually, I gotta try to get Simonized to send me whatever they used so I can try to reapply it so that it at least blends in because I can't get it off.

Speaker A:

Off.

Speaker B:

I used my, my all purpose cleaner at 4 to 1, which usually I use it at like 30 to 1, and it, it wasn't Touching it.

Speaker B:

I mean, it is.

Speaker B:

And I'm not gonna scrub even harder on a brand new M series BMW.

Speaker B:

Yeah, I'm not buying new leather seats when they screwed it up.

Speaker A:

Damn.

Speaker A:

So, so let's, let's talk.

Speaker A:

Let's.

Speaker A:

Let's have a little leather coating conversation.

Speaker A:

I want to, I want to get your guys's take on how you feel about ceramic coating leather.

Speaker C:

I don't think using a high solids coating on leather like is a good idea at all.

Speaker C:

There's some coatings and I only say that because I've been using our stuff.

Speaker C:

It's a, it's a spray on.

Speaker C:

You spray it onto your applicator and wipe it on, wipe it into the leather.

Speaker C:

And it has some ceramic in it, but it also has the right in it to not leave a hard crusty surface.

Speaker C:

It's basically, it's not high enough concentration of SIO2.

Speaker A:

Right.

Speaker C:

Damage the leather.

Speaker C:

And there's.

Speaker C:

I know there's some coatings out there that their leather coatings are very, very similar to their regular paint coatings.

Speaker C:

Like, same same solvent, same carriers, same everything.

Speaker C:

And it leaves a harder, more permanent coating.

Speaker C:

I know some, some companies have had a lot, have had, you know, like warranty claims or lawsuits or whatever because.

Speaker A:

It'S.

Speaker C:

Either the detailer did something wrong or their product didn't react to the substrate the right way and ruined interiors.

Speaker A:

Right.

Speaker B:

What I don't like about leather coatings is I feel like most of them add almost like a gloss to the seat and I feel like leather should not have a gloss.

Speaker A:

Yeah, right.

Speaker C:

Yeah.

Speaker C:

Trinity is our interior leather coating.

Speaker C:

It's.

Speaker C:

I put it on everything.

Speaker A:

The reason I asked is because, you know, I've, I've had a few people lately asking me, you know, because we don't have a leather coating, but we do have a multi substrate coating.

Speaker A:

And they're like, do you think that would work?

Speaker A:

And I'm like, I don't know because from what I was told, it's multi substrate exterior.

Speaker A:

You know, paint, glass, wheels, PPF trim.

Speaker A:

Like the other thing is, is, you know, I'm, I'm been very fortunate to have, you know, multiple conversations with Brian Guy about leather and.

Speaker A:

Oh yeah, it's gotten deep into leather with conversations and you know, to me leather is, is like, you know, trim.

Speaker A:

You know, that's why I don't coat trim.

Speaker A:

Having conversations with Chris west is, is they're breathable materials and, and you put a coating or you put a sealer over them and, and they can't breathe and they dry out and crack and fade and all that other stuff.

Speaker A:

And kind of the same thing with a, with trim like Chris west says.

Speaker A:

With trim, like so if the trim starts oxidizing, you know, how do you remove the, the coating?

Speaker A:

You know, because you can't wet sand it, you can't polish it because it's trim.

Speaker A:

You're going to up the, the texture.

Speaker B:

I had that problem when I had my truck.

Speaker B:

I did the fender flares and yeah, there was still coating there because it was starting to fade.

Speaker B:

And I went to just put like a dressing on it and it was just beating off of it.

Speaker B:

It wouldn't, it wouldn't adhere to it, but the plastic was still fading.

Speaker A:

Right.

Speaker A:

So the same thing with, with leather, like you, you can't, you can't wet sand that off.

Speaker A:

You can't polish it off or whatever, you know, so I, I've always told people, like, I, I just don't like, get a good, just get a good leather protector, you know.

Speaker A:

I mean, color lock makes, makes really good, you know.

Speaker A:

And you know, that was one of the other things I started thinking about.

Speaker A:

The more, you know, people ask me about it is, you know, they're like, well, you know, so and so makes a leather, you know, coating and this company makes a leather coating.

Speaker A:

And that company.

Speaker A:

Yeah, everybody makes a leather coating these days.

Speaker A:

But if you look at like the true leather companies, Color lock, Geist leather repair company, Leatherique, like none of them are pitching ceramic coatings.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker C:

They all say don't coat.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker C:

Leather surface at all.

Speaker C:

Well, the other thing too is everybody, every manufacturer has got their, you know, vegan friendly version of leather.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

And I mean, and I get at the end of the day, like it's, you know, the, the stuff that's in the, the cars is, you know, for the most part, you know, unless you're paying out the ass for the car.

Speaker A:

It's, you know, according to, you know, from talking to Brian is it's the very bottom piece of the leather when they plane it and then they, you know, shellac it with some kind of sealant or sealer or whatever.

Speaker A:

Anyways.

Speaker A:

So like, you know, the big thing.

Speaker B:

Is, is most of them only are rated for like up to a year.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

But by the time you buy it and mark it up, is it really worth it to the customer for only roughly a year of protection?

Speaker A:

Right.

Speaker B:

When they can get a sealant for a fraction of the price, it protects it for a few months.

Speaker A:

And well, that's, that's the way I Look at it.

Speaker A:

I mean, like, you know, I could do a interior detail for $350, you know, on most cars, you know, and, and hey, come back and see me, you know, every three months or whatever.

Speaker A:

I'm gonna, I'm gonna make what, fourteen hundred dollars in a year?

Speaker A:

Like, can I charge fourteen hundred dollars for a leather coating?

Speaker A:

Right?

Speaker A:

You know, like, I mean, the most I think I've ever charged is like six or seven hundred dollars for a leather coating on an interior.

Speaker B:

Sometimes like in customers like those, sometimes it's, it's better to not sell them because they're going to come back way more in the long run.

Speaker A:

But I mean, it's, it's like I tell people with the ceramics, I mean, yeah, I'll sell you a five year for twenty five hundred dollars or you know, if you come back to me like you're supposed to, and we do a polish job for five or six hundred dollars once a year and every, you know, three or three months or so we put a sealant on it for, you know, 150, $200.

Speaker A:

Times that.

Speaker A:

By five I'm gonna make way more money off of you, you know, But I get it.

Speaker A:

It's, you know, like it, like it's hard to get people to come back that religiously.

Speaker A:

So let's just sell:

Speaker B:

When I saw a coding, I very rarely, I'd say out of all the coatings I've sold over the last five years, maybe 10 people come back regularly.

Speaker B:

Like, I just never see them again.

Speaker B:

They buy it, they forget about it.

Speaker B:

I had a lady, I coded her car three years ago and never heard a word from her.

Speaker B:

The other day she buys a bunch of gift certificates online for me.

Speaker B:

I never, I've never even seen her since then.

Speaker B:

Never heard anything from her.

Speaker B:

She's never come back for any maintenance.

Speaker B:

She must have been happy.

Speaker A:

But yeah, that's how I always, I always look at as, you know, hey, no news is good news, you know, because I'm sure if they were unhappy or pissed off, they would have called me up bitching about it, you know, or whatever.

Speaker B:

It's just, it's wild to me because if you spend that much money, you would think they would want to keep maintaining it like, and, and I want to make sure it's lasting and if it doesn't, right, I'll fix it.

Speaker B:

But they just, they don't come back.

Speaker B:

I don't see them.

Speaker A:

The ones, the ones I like are the guy, you know, people call me up and be like, hey, man, like three years ago, you ceramic coated my car.

Speaker A:

You know, your butthole puckers up a little bit.

Speaker A:

You're like, yeah.

Speaker A:

Everything good?

Speaker A:

Yeah, man.

Speaker A:

Just got a new car, wanted to bring it in.

Speaker B:

You know, I've had people, like, they'll come back for their, like, yearly maintenance or whatever, and it.

Speaker B:

It.

Speaker B:

It'll be destroyed.

Speaker B:

It'll be clogged, covered in tar.

Speaker B:

By the time you eat it all decon, there's nothing left.

Speaker B:

They're still just as happy.

Speaker B:

They're like, oh, yeah, I love this stuff.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

What do you love about it?

Speaker A:

Because nothing was working.

Speaker A:

Yeah, yeah.

Speaker A:

No, I think.

Speaker A:

I think it's.

Speaker A:

I think people kind of, you know, set it and forget it.

Speaker A:

They put it on there and then they forget about it and it's, you.

Speaker B:

Know, listen, don't wash them.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

I mean, listen, I've got a client.

Speaker A:

I. I talk about him all the time.

Speaker A:

He's.

Speaker A:

He's a good guy.

Speaker A:

He definitely, like, on his.

Speaker A:

On his cars of value, you know, washes them like they're supposed to.

Speaker A:

But he owns a construction company.

Speaker A:

You know, he runs his car through the car wash or his truck through the.

Speaker A:

Through the car wash, you know, probably once a day.

Speaker A:

Because when he's out pitching jobs or, you know, whatever, and.

Speaker A:

And every time he gets a new car, he brings it in for me to code it.

Speaker A:

And he's just like, alex, I don't give a.

Speaker A:

If the car wash swirls it up.

Speaker A:

He goes.

Speaker A:

He goes.

Speaker A:

Two things happen when.

Speaker A:

With.

Speaker A:

With this coating than when I didn't have it.

Speaker A:

He goes, the cars, the.

Speaker A:

The truck comes out clean and it's shiny.

Speaker A:

He's like, clean and shiny.

Speaker A:

So that's all I care about.

Speaker C:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

And I'm like, tell everybody here because of our nasty winners with the sand and salt, five months out of the year, you're gonna have scratches and swirls in the spring.

Speaker B:

It doesn't matter what you put on there.

Speaker B:

You're gonna have it.

Speaker B:

Just expect it.

Speaker B:

But it doesn't mean the coding's gonna go bad.

Speaker B:

It's just.

Speaker B:

That's what it is.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

Do you guys ever.

Speaker A:

I had this thought, this.

Speaker A:

So this was a red light thought the other day.

Speaker A:

Do you ever have that thought of, like, why.

Speaker A:

Why do we even worry about this or do this?

Speaker A:

Like, detailers, like, are so, like, you.

Speaker B:

Know, sometimes we care more about their car than they do.

Speaker A:

Yeah, exactly.

Speaker A:

Like, you know, just it, man.

Speaker A:

Take their money and let them go.

Speaker A:

Like, I don't get why you Know, detailers like, oh, that man.

Speaker A:

You know, if they're gonna run it through the car wash, I'm not even gonna code it.

Speaker A:

You're an idiot.

Speaker A:

Send them to me.

Speaker C:

Right?

Speaker A:

I'll take their $2,000.

Speaker B:

The only thing I don't want to coat is I don't like coating RVs.

Speaker B:

I've coated two of them and I never want to go in again.

Speaker B:

I'll buff them, I'll wax them.

Speaker B:

I'll even hand wax it.

Speaker B:

I do not want to coat them.

Speaker B:

They're too big.

Speaker C:

Yeah, it's a pain.

Speaker A:

Yes.

Speaker B:

They're just.

Speaker B:

And then you got that whole flat surface and you're trying to remember where you left off.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker C:

I've done a 40 and a 45 foot.

Speaker C:

And in the summertime was.

Speaker C:

One of them was flashing so fast.

Speaker C:

Dude, we were guys just miserable.

Speaker C:

I don't want to touch him again.

Speaker C:

Both of us.

Speaker C:

I was working with Tony Hannah in Alabama and I was like.

Speaker C:

I was like, dude, if we ever do one of these again, we're.

Speaker C:

We're charging like $10,000.

Speaker C:

It's like, this is ridiculous.

Speaker C:

It's so much freaking work.

Speaker B:

And I feel like when you code an rv, they always feel like it should be about the same price as a card.

Speaker B:

I'm like, it's gonna cost you more just for the coating than it is Dakota car.

Speaker A:

Yeah, listen, this thing is like five times the size of a car lengthwise, and height wise, it's flat.

Speaker B:

That doesn't matter.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker C:

It's still surface area.

Speaker A:

Exactly.

Speaker C:

Square footage, man.

Speaker B:

The RV I did last year, he was.

Speaker B:

He was asking me about coatings.

Speaker B:

I'm like, just the coating alone is going to cost you more than what I'm doing today.

Speaker B:

I said, but I'll tell you what, if you don't coat it, because I don't want to coat it, I will come up here every year and do a spray and rinse wax on there for you.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

Just so I don't have to coat it.

Speaker B:

I just.

Speaker B:

I don't like doing those.

Speaker B:

I'll do them if they really want me to, but.

Speaker B:

Yeah, yeah, you got to charge for.

Speaker C:

It, though, because it's that especially if you're on your own.

Speaker B:

He had a.

Speaker B:

It was a 40 footer, and I told him, like, you have to dry this when you wash.

Speaker B:

He's.

Speaker B:

I got the spot free.

Speaker B:

Calls me every year.

Speaker B:

I got water spots all over.

Speaker B:

I'm like, dude, I'm not.

Speaker B:

He called me this year.

Speaker B:

I'm like, I'm not taking them off anymore.

Speaker B:

Like, turn your own.

Speaker B:

Because he wants me to go up there and do it for, like 100 bucks.

Speaker B:

I'm like, no, yeah, that.

Speaker B:

Just.

Speaker A:

Just coat the front of it to make the bugs and everything come off easier and then just spray wax the rest of it.

Speaker B:

He.

Speaker B:

He doesn't want.

Speaker B:

He just wants the foam can and even get him to foam cannon.

Speaker B:

The thing was a nightmare.

Speaker B:

He's like, I don't want to dry.

Speaker B:

I'm like, use a leaf blower.

Speaker B:

It's flat.

Speaker B:

It will dry.

Speaker B:

Get a floor squeegee and get it when it's brand new and use that.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

Doesn't dry it.

Speaker B:

Calls me about the water spots.

Speaker B:

I went up there and took care of it once, and I'm like, dude, I'm not.

Speaker B:

No, I'm not gonna come up here and acid wash this thing for 100 bucks.

Speaker A:

That guy calls Walt, and Walt's like, the number dial.

Speaker A:

There's no.

Speaker B:

He got his new rv.

Speaker B:

He told me.

Speaker B:

He's like, are you.

Speaker B:

Are you charging me enough?

Speaker A:

Because I want.

Speaker B:

If I have an issue, I don't want you to hide from me.

Speaker B:

I'm like, I won't hide from you, but don't call me about water spots.

Speaker B:

We had the conversation.

Speaker C:

Jeez, Jesus.

Speaker B:

Still listen to it.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

I went overkill on my.

Speaker A:

On my new water system and about damn near had a heart attack, dude.

Speaker B:

I went expensive to get done, right?

Speaker A:

So.

Speaker A:

So I did it.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

So I. I all in.

Speaker A:

I was.

Speaker A:

I was like,:

Speaker A:

But what I did was so, like, mine comes, like, out of the spigot.

Speaker A:

It goes into a sediment filter, then it goes into a salt softener system, then goes in the scale, then goes didi.

Speaker A:

Well, I bought it.

Speaker B:

I was trying to use just di.

Speaker B:

And I was going through filters after Ted.

Speaker A:

Well, that's why I did.

Speaker A:

That's why I did the water softener in the sediment and the scales.

Speaker A:

Because everybody I talked to, especially when Kaden, when I did that episode with him was he said, if you do all that stuff, it cleans out so that your di's.

Speaker B:

You don't waste it.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

Don't work as hard.

Speaker A:

But I had a. I had a heart attack moment like.

Speaker A:

Like the first two weeks because I bought an inline TDS meter.

Speaker C:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

The first two weeks, that.

Speaker A:

That was like, between zero and three, you know, for washing cars.

Speaker C:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

And in one day, that went from 3 to 150.

Speaker A:

I was like, what the.

Speaker A:

So, like, I'm freaking out, but, like, I'm washing cars.

Speaker A:

I'm not getting spots, you know, like.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

So I call the company, and the lady's like, you just need the two DI Filters.

Speaker A:

And I said, I get that, but, you know, so I explained her the whole system and all that, and she goes.

Speaker A:

She goes, oh, wait, you have salt before?

Speaker A:

And I said, yeah.

Speaker A:

She goes, well, yeah, you're putting sodium back into the water line.

Speaker A:

So you're putting particles into the water line.

Speaker A:

Your TDS meter should be.

Speaker B:

Really what I was doing is my pressure washer pump and the hose and gun were adding all that.

Speaker B:

All those minerals back in.

Speaker B:

So it would come out of the filter really clean.

Speaker B:

If you read it at the end of the gun, it would be like two.

Speaker B:

Something like 270 or something.

Speaker A:

Oh, wow.

Speaker B:

Because it was just picking all that up.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

But I'm having the.

Speaker B:

The water guys are setting up, like, what?

Speaker B:

You said the whole system before.

Speaker B:

Yeah, this summer.

Speaker A:

No.

Speaker A:

She's like.

Speaker A:

She's like, are you getting spots?

Speaker A:

I'm like, no.

Speaker A:

And she's like, okay.

Speaker A:

She's like.

Speaker A:

She's like, where do you have your water softener set to?

Speaker A:

I was like, I don't know.

Speaker A:

The guy set it up for me.

Speaker A:

He said.

Speaker A:

He set it up really high to make it really soft.

Speaker A:

And she goes, well, there you go right there.

Speaker A:

I was like, all right, as long.

Speaker A:

She goes, if you start getting spots, then.

Speaker A:

Then you got an issue.

Speaker A:

But I don't get spots.

Speaker B:

So, like, I didn't when it was going through the.

Speaker B:

The pressure rusher, but after, like, 10 cars, those filters were junk.

Speaker A:

And I'm like, yeah, I'll tell you what, though.

Speaker A:

Does make a difference from before, when I just had di to now doing all that.

Speaker A:

And especially with the softer water, I can tell a difference.

Speaker A:

Like, when I'm towel drying or using.

Speaker A:

Using my.

Speaker A:

My drying towel, I can tell the difference.

Speaker A:

How the paint feels different with the water.

Speaker A:

Yeah, that's cool.

Speaker B:

Ours gets real rough if we let it air dry, or you get spots and you got to polish them off.

Speaker B:

But usually, like, you'll notice mostly on the glass.

Speaker B:

You'll go to clean the glass with a microfiber on the outside, and that's how I'll just grab it.

Speaker A:

Yeah, it's.

Speaker B:

It's insane.

Speaker B:

Our water.

Speaker A:

No, those.

Speaker A:

Those super Max dreadnoughts that I use for modifiber, they'll just glide across the paint with that.

Speaker A:

With that water softener.

Speaker A:

So I was like, all right.

Speaker A:

It.

Speaker A:

I guess as long as it's not creating spots, I'm good To go.

Speaker B:

I use a drying aid from Auto Magic.

Speaker B:

It's actually made for car washes.

Speaker B:

It's the stuff that makes the water sheet, so it lasts me forever.

Speaker B:

I have five gallons, and I've used maybe eight ounces in two years.

Speaker B:

That's how concentrated it is.

Speaker B:

But you spray it on and it just instantly starts beating and cheating the water so it breaks down all that hard.

Speaker A:

It's pretty similar to, like.

Speaker A:

It's pretty similar to just a wet application sealant, though, right?

Speaker B:

Kind of.

Speaker B:

It's just.

Speaker B:

This doesn't last.

Speaker B:

Like, it literally will wash right back off with something.

Speaker A:

Oh, gotcha.

Speaker A:

Gotcha.

Speaker B:

It's not made to actually add protection.

Speaker A:

There's no.

Speaker A:

There's no sealant.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

There's no ceiling.

Speaker B:

There's just a dry.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

Yeah, because that's.

Speaker A:

That's like what those.

Speaker A:

The.

Speaker A:

The wet application sealant.

Speaker A:

So as soon as you spray it on wet it like the water just.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

Takes off from itself.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

All right.

Speaker A:

I got nothing else.

Speaker A:

Hey, guys.

Speaker A:

Well, thanks for doing this, man.

Speaker A:

It was fun.

Speaker A:

Good.

Speaker A:

Good to get in and kind of just talk about some.

Speaker B:

Hopefully everybody said he'll be back next week with his elf.

Speaker B:

He's gonna get.

Speaker A:

Elf.

Speaker A:

What.

Speaker A:

What would you.

Speaker A:

What would you.

Speaker C:

How would you.

Speaker A:

How would you make a.

Speaker A:

A.

Speaker A:

How would you sexualize that with, you know, like, there's elf on the shelf and then the picture of rain with the.

Speaker A:

On his lap.

Speaker A:

You know, like.

Speaker A:

You know, like, you know, like they do the rock on.

Speaker A:

On a.

Speaker A:

On a rooster and it's like rock on the.

Speaker A:

Or, you know, like, how.

Speaker A:

Like, how do you take that picture of.

Speaker A:

Of rain and make a elf on a shelf style, saying, you just gave Walt some homework.

Speaker B:

Yeah, I actually.

Speaker B:

I was thinking about.

Speaker B:

I was gonna put it in chat GPT.

Speaker B:

Try to make something funny with the three of us.

Speaker B:

And then I just ran out of time.

Speaker B:

Yeah, I had time.

Speaker B:

I just get distracted.

Speaker B:

And then I got.

Speaker A:

Speaking of chat GBT and funny.

Speaker A:

Did you guys.

Speaker A:

Did you guys see my Christmas card I got from Knoxy today?

Speaker A:

How awesome was that?

Speaker C:

That?

Speaker C:

I saw that.

Speaker C:

That was hilarious.

Speaker A:

Had to do it.

Speaker C:

That's great.

Speaker A:

The one that I.

Speaker A:

The one that I didn't post.

Speaker A:

The one that I didn't post.

Speaker A:

That might be better.

Speaker A:

And I probably won't post it just.

Speaker A:

Just because is.

Speaker A:

I had chat gbt.

Speaker A:

Speaker A:

Yeah, glamour shots.

Speaker A:

Speaker A:

Speaker A:

Speaker C:

But we know you have it.

Speaker A:

I don't know if I want.

Speaker C:

Speaker C:

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

Speaker A:

Speaker A:
