Shownotes

Summary:

Elon Musk’s recent “#TwitterFiles” releases have revealed extensive coordination between Twitter and the government in deciding what people and speech to censor or ban. But this doesn’t mean Twitter “isn’t really a private company.” Twitter and other private firms have an absolute right to make policies the government likes (or doesn’t like). Action to oppose this should be taken against the government, not private actors.
