Dave, driven by his passion for law enforcement, set his sights on becoming a police officer from a young age. Starting as a San Diego police explorer cadet at 15, he worked his way up to the rank of lieutenant before leaving the Cadets at 20 to pursue a career in the real deal.
Dave dreamt of joining the San Diego PD, spending his Friday and Saturday nights on ride-alongs, and paving his way to success. However, his lead foot hindered his entry into the PD, redirecting him towards the sheriff's department upon a friend's recommendation.
Dave found himself in the tough environment of the jails, which provided the necessary experience to prepare him for the streets. Working closely with an 18-man team, they became like family, relying on each other to ensure their safety.
As time passed, political shifts occurred, with inmates seemingly gaining more rights than the officers tasked with protecting them, both inside prison walls and out on the streets of our towns.
While Dave's career in law enforcement progressed, he found solace in his love for riding ATVs. Racing in the Desert District 38 and participating in police and sheriff's MX events allowed him to cope with the stress. The day he walked through the door of his new endeavor, the excitement was palpable as he entered a whole new level of his career.
